8 Days till Christmas.....

Bridgette's POV
Geoff parked the car and I looked at the Rousseau Ski Lodge lobby and was shocked. It looked so nice and ready for Christmas. It was already snowing outside and I was so excited for this. I sent everyone in the chat the text that we were here and then walked inside with Geoff.

"Bridgette!" A familiar voice said and I looked over and saw Zoey standing there.

"Zoey!" I said and ran over to her and hugged her.

           She hugged me back and I looked around and saw Courtney, Scott, Heather, and Alejandro sitting there. I said my hellos to everyone else and then I looked at Geoff guessing we were the late ones...expect Mike and Duncan they weren't here.

"So, who else is coming?" Courtney asked

      "Mike and Duncan...along with a few others." I said and she nodded.

           The door opened and we looked as Mike walked in. He walked over to us and waved a bit. We all waved back at him and he sat down. All we needed was Duncan, so Tristen could help us to our cabins. I looked at the tv and saw something about an art gallery and I watched.

            The tv was turned up and everyone looked over as the new person started talking about an art gallery opening Saturday, December 28th and I looked at everyone and they looked at me.

      "So the old gang's back together...huh?" A familiar voice asked and we all looked as Tristen was standing there.

      "Tristen" Courtney said getting up and they hugged.

             She sat down and then Tristen looked at us and smiled. I got up and hugged him and he hugged me back. Once I was done I sat down. The doors opened and everyone looked over as Duncan walked in, but made it seem like we were the late ones.

    "What took you guys so long?" Duncan asked crossing his arms.

"We've been here waiting for you." Scott said and he laughed.

"Duncan's been here for a week....now let's go get you guys to your cabins." Tristen said and we all got up.

Courtney's POV
As we all got in our cars, I watched as Tristen drove down the mountain past all the really nice, regular rooms that people stay in. As we drove all the way down the mountain and then up towards a gated community, I looked out the window at the huge cabins.

"Oh my gosh..." I said

They so big and gorgeous. As Scott followed the Tristen's truck in front of us I just watched as the cabins got nicer and nicer. I still can't believe we were actually here. Tristen's truck turned when the mountain seemed to level itself. I smiled at Scott and he smiled at me. I got out and then grabbed my luggage.

There were six cabins that were all in one area and Tristen stood there as we all huddled up around him. He looked at us and then nodded.

    "Okay Courtney and Scott, you guys have cabin G 2, Heather and Alejandro G3, Bridgette and Geoff G 5, and Mike you will be sharing with cabin 6 with Zoey." Tristen said

    "Who's in G 1 and G 4?" Heather asked and I looked at her.

"Duncan's in G 4 and G 1 is for you all to hang out in." Tristen said as we all nodded.

We all made our ways towards the cabins and looking around they were beautiful. I still couldn't believe we were here. I put my bags down and then looked around, at the huge cabin. As I walked around, I then got a text from Bridgette to meet back at the lobby in a few.

Zoey's POV
            I put my bags down in one of the rooms and I walked out and saw Mike sitting on the couch. We shared a look and I awkwardly looked away.

     "So how are you and Anna-Maria?" I asked and he shrugged.

     "We broke up a few years ago." He said awkwardly and I nodded.

     "Oh...I'm sorry to hear that." I said and he nodded.

          On the inside, I was jumping for joy. I really thought those two were going to get married or something. I got a text from Bridgette to meet at the lobby and I got up.

Heather's POV
           We all made our ways to the lobby and I sat there with Alejandro and waited for everyone else to show up. Duncan arrived with Bridgette and Geoff, then Courtney and Scott, and finally Mike and Zoey. I was guessing we were getting other things done like pool passes, ski equipment, coupons, and other shit.

"So, what are we doing back here?" Courtney asked and I looked over.

"Our keys, passes for the things around the resort, coupons for restaurants, maps, and just some other regular resorts things." Bridgette said.

Courtney nodded and then Tristen walked over with someone else. He looked like an older version of Valentine, as he was still very handsome, and very....yeah all I could think of hot. Valentine Rousseau is a very attractive person, and most people in school were in love with him. I looked at Alejandro and he grabbed my hand and twisted the wedding ring and I laughed.

"I love you Alejandro...I would never." I said and he gave me a face and I laughed.

"Woah...27 and still as handsome as ever." Courtney said and Valen laughed.

"Yeah....my ex girlfriend got mad whenever the words hot, handsome, or attractive are said around me...it led her to break up to me." Valentine said and I laughed.

"I don't blame her." I said he nodded.

"So how's Jimmy?" Bridgette asked and Valentine and Tristen looked at each other.

"Uh...Duncan would more than us, Ronnie and Jimmy are still best friends." Valentine said and we all looked at Duncan.

"Ronnie and Jimmy are good." Duncan said and we all nodded.

We all stood their talking about our lives and old memories on the main couches in the lobby. Tristen and Valentine told us they that they no idea where Gwen was, everyone seemed upset about it, but I was fine as Gwen and I never really got along. I knew Alejandro was fond of her leadership skills and thought she was good person. I'm not going to lie, I do miss Gwen a bit as we became sort of friends, by the end of senior year.

I talked about my fashion designing and Alejandro talked about his modeling. As everyone talked about their careers, engagements, dating problems, and for me and Alejandro...our marriage. The conversation then changed to what we were planning on doing here. We talked about skiing, regular restore things like pools,

    "We do have a huge dinner in the restore Friday night, it's for all the restore owners, restore members, and some VIP people." Tristen said and we nodded.

    "Is Gwen going be there?" Someone asked walking up to us.

        
Duncan's POV
          I heard Jimmy's hopeful voice asking if Gwen was going to be there. Tristen and Valen looked at each other and shrugged. Jimmy sighed and I looked at him.

   "When was the last time you saw her?" Zoey asked and he looked at her.

   "Three days ago...she picked me up from school." Jimmy said.

   "She did?" Valentine and he nodded.

        Then the door opened Ronnie, Mandy, and Stephanie walked in. They walked over to us and they all looked at me and I waved to them.

    "Did you find out if she's going?" Ronnie asked and Jimmy shook his head.

   "They don't know." Jimmy said they all nodded.

Jimmy sighed and the door opened. As we all talked our keys and other stuff came out. I already had everything I was just here for company, and see my old friends. I watched Tristen's phone ring and he looked at it and answered.

"Hey....yeah tonight should be good...um 520 a night since you're you....okay see you then...bye." Tristen said and put his phone away and Valen looked at him.

"520....that's over half off, who was that?" Valen asked.

"Your ex-fiancé, and her family." Tristen said and Valen gave him a look.

"....which one, I had five?" Valen said.

"Geez Valentine..." Courtney said and he laughed and shrugged.

       Tristen laughed to himself as he started texting. Soon five minutes later Valentine's phone started going off and he looked at him phone and then at Tristen.

   "Oh I'm going to kill you." Valentine said and then my phone with off.

  We are all coming down to the resort too -Ashley

        I laughed and Tristen was dying of laughter. Yeah Ashley and Valentine dated for about three months and then he proposed. Three months later they broke up, but it was because they meant to be best friends not married....also Ashley's head over heels in love with Tristen.

   "Why is my family coming?" Bridgette asked and Tristen started laughing harder.

   "Yeah same...." Heather said

    "Over here too." Mike said and Valentine gave Tristen a look.

    "He almost married my sister, Tiffany, Lexi, Michelle, and then another girl named Mollie." I said and they nodded.

   "I'm glad I don't have a sister." Courtney said sipping her coffee.

       The back door opened and all looked as Meredith, Tristen's ex-wife walked in with Henry who's 8, Harriet who's 6, and Heidi who's going to turn 4 on Christmas Eve....yeah I'm still really close with Gwen's family. Valentine smirked and Tristen looked at him and glared.

   "Ex-fiancés...for ex-wife." Valentine said and Tristen rolled his eyes and then put a fake smile as his three kids ran to him.

   "You two broke up?" Bridgette asked and Tristen nodded.

        We all spent the two and a half hours talking about Tristen and Valentine breaks up and kids. Soon our family's were going arrive soon, and that was going to.....fun.

Courtney's POV
It was around 6:00 PM and we were all back in the lobby waiting for the families who were coming. Tristen invited mine and they said would come later in the week, so that was good. All the families who were coming were today with Duncan's, Bridgette's, Heather's, and Mike's.

The door opened and we all looked and it looked at Duncan family walked in. The twins Robbie and Randy, Ashley, and then Ronnie who was already here. Duncan looked at them and then shook his head as his parents walked in. Next was Heather's family, her mother and father's then her cousins Lexi and Jason. Soon came in Bridgette her sister Tiffany and then her parents. Lastly was Mike's two older sisters Michelle and Melissa.

Scott put his arm around me and I put my head on his shoulder. Like I said my family was coming later in the week. We all said our hellos to the people who just came in, Tristen looked at everyone and smiled. Soon Valentine came in and then turned around and walked away.

"So where's our favorite womanizer?" Lexi asked and I looked over at Alejandro and he rolled his eyes.

    "He ran away." Tristen said and she nodded.

I looked over and Valentine was acting like he was doing work. I shook my head and Duncan just laughed. Men, I can't with them sometimes. I looked over at Scott who was laughing too. Bridgette was shaking her head as Geoff was laughing.

     "Oh live a little girls." Geoff said and I gave him a look and he shrugged.

          I looked back at Valentine and saw that he was typing on the computer. He put his phone up to his ear and looked around, I shook my head. Tiffany looked over and Valentine stared at the computer screen.

     "Found him" Tiffany said and he fake smiled.

     "Oh hi....Tiffany." He said and she crossed her arms.

         Soon Lexi and Michelle stood next to her and they all looked at him. Ashley looked as Valentine just went back to work. The girls looked at us, as we start discussing dinner.

Gwen's POV
I sitting in my car in horrible traffic. I had to drop something off at my family owned ski lodge for all my brothers. I put my head back as I just sat there not moving. I couldn't text Tristen or Valentine as they didn't know I was in Canada. I just leaned back and sighed. I then got an idea.

          I sent jimmy a text telling him not to tell anyone that I was coming, but to tell me where everyone was. He quickly responded and told me that they were going to a buffet for dinner. I smiled and then looked forward, and the car was still in the same spot.

"Please hurry up." I said to myself.
