The night fury flew within the trees, they had lost sight of the coyote. Hiccup wasn't sure if they would be able to find him, Hunter knew the forest better then himself. Hiccup was surprised that he was alive. And a coyote, it was all so much for him, a bigger mystery they would need to look into another time. "Any sign of him?" The dragon let out a low growl, landing on the ground. "Why did they have to tell my father" He got a coo n response.

The dragon was right, he was acting odd, so it was on him, but he had a pull to come to Berk, one he couldn't explain. He felt his hairs on his neck raise, Hiccup turned his head to see a man, he had tan skin, brown eyes that almost looked black and brownish black hair. Hiccup narrowed his eyes. He reconsidered him, back when he was five, the man who claimed to have 'saved' him from a coyote. "It's been a long time" He spoke in a way that would make your hairs stand. Hiccup studied him, he had bite marks on his neck, and claw marks from the right side of the face to the left side.

"Yeah...Who are you exactly?" Hiccup questioned him, he step back as his instincts were screaming at him not to trust him. He wasn't sure why, something else was going on.

"Ivar" He smirked at him gripping his sword in his hand. "You really don't remember that day, do you Little Prince" He was getting into his head, "That works for me" His dragon growled at him, louder then he had been, putting himself between the two. "First a mutt, now a reptile" He said. Hiccup was puzzled, but it also confirmed that there was seriously something else going on.

A growl merged from the forest as the white coyote, leaped out standing between hiccup and the man. He showed his teeth through the growl, His tail moved to the side slowly. "And the mutt arrives" He spoke, "I will finish you this time" He heard the animal growl before he ran at the man before them, letting out a "Yar" like noise, leaping onto the man tackling him to the growled, biting the man arm as the man blocked his access to the neck. Hiccup stood there in shook, he hadn't expected the coyote to just attack. Hunter hated this man which confirmed that they had history.

Toothless growled getting a plasma blast ready to fire at the man, "Try not to hit the crazy coyote" Hiccup told him. He wasn't sure what he should do, or how much control Hunter had over his instincts. Not that he didn't trust Hunter but he guessed last time they were together things hadn't gone to well for them. An arrow was shot, toothless reacted with a blast hitting the arrow. Hiccup saw the archer. "Stop" He yelled out to try at least get some control over what was happening. The coyote took his focus off the man and was stabbed just under the rib cage, he let out a cry gaining Hiccup attention. He gabbed his sword running over to them.

He was pulled back, by Stoick, this animal was a monster to him, he ordered the fury to stand down, the dragon looked at him, to the coyote. "Dad! I have too" He trailed off all he wanted to do was help his brother. He watched s the animal backed up, blood oozing from his chest cavity. He breathed. An arrow as shot hitting him in the back. The coyote fell to the ground. The night fury sniffed the air, creeping over to the white animal.

He felt his heart shatter. Another arrow, he struggled to get free, "Dad! Please you're going to kill him" He looked to his dragon, The night fury got the message. Now toothless knew not to cross Stoick, but he was going to make a massive mistake. The dragon leaped over the wounded animal lifting his wings and growling. The archer lowered their weapon, knowing fair well not to harm the fury or face the consequences.

"Toothless!" Stoick shouted at the dragon who didn't budge. "Hiccup, get toothless out of the way" Hiccup only glared at him, his Sharp eyes into his soul. Hiccup wasn't going to let now. He knew he had checkmate. Maybe he had been learning from Viggo after all. "Do I have to remind you again?"

"Again? AGAIN?!" Hiccup spat. "You haven't listen to me this entire time!! No You been in your own head again! He wouldn't hurt anyone... expect that one person, but there has to be something else going on. He was trying to protect me!!" Hiccup snapped at him. Stoick looked at him, Hiccup's eyes shifted off to the side. He could barely remember that night. He looked to the Ivar "What were you doing on Berk? If I remember correctly your not from Berk"

The man had gotten to his feet "I had just arrived on Berk and I had heard a child scream what you want me to do? I saw a white animal on the attack" He explained. Hiccup shifted his shoulders, it was a lie. He could tell, the man realized Hiccup knew it was a lie.

"Lier, that isn't what happen was it?" Hiccup interrogated. He wished to Thor he could remember that night, there was more to it he wished he could connect the dots it was the only way he could save the coyote. He looked to Stoick "The coyote is innocent" Hiccup told him sternly.

Stoick had caught the lie as well. Something he had missed all those years go out of fear of loosing his five year old son from bleeding to death or from the brain damage that had nearly killed him if Gothi hadn't released the pressure he would of.. "If you're right son, then what happened to your brother?" He assumed Hiccup had some sort of theory on that. Hiccup turned his head to look at the coyote, or where he was. He was gone.

"I have to go find him, before he bleeds to death" Hiccup moved passed his father to his dragon rubbing his head as they followed the blood trail down a path through the forest. It hadn't taken them long to find the coyote's den. Hiccup squeezed himself inside the small hole, to see the bloodied animal. He heard a growl "Shhh, it's okay, it's me" He crawled closer to the coyote, sitting beside him, the coyote lifted his head laying on Hiccup's lap. "We are going to need to get you out of here" He rubbed his fluffy soft fur. He got a growl in response. "Yeah I know"
