Rukmini could feel her eyes filled with the charm of the magical Krishna. Since her childhood she had fantasized about her Krishna and had made so many flutes for her darling Shyam. She had collected so many peacock feathers for her enchanting Madhava. She had heard so many stories about Krishna's childhood. She couldnt stop herself from feeling jealous whenever Radha's stories were told. The undying love between Radha and Krishna seemed to irk her and often question her devotion for the sundara Shyama. However with time she had gradually accepted Radikha though it didnt remove the possessiveness in her heart for her love.
"Pranipaat" Rukmini generated Krishna with a smile as her cheeks flushed .
"Pranipaat. You must be the Vidharba princess" Krishna smiling.
"You know me?" Rukmini seemed so surprised and glad.
"Ofcourse Rukmini. I know you since ages" Krishna replied as he looked through her to find her dear Lakshmi abiding inside her.
Rukmini smiled as a gleam of joy reached her eyes. She looked at Krishna who smiled at her charmingly.
"Radhe!" Krishna called as Radha joined him.
The smile fell from Rukmini's face.
"This is the Vidharba princess Rukmini" Krishna introduced Radha to Rukmini.
Radha looked at her with love for she was a part of her. She was her own avatar . While Rukmini smiled faintly as she greeted Radha. She looked at Krishna still lost in his charm.

"There has been a problem! Magadh King has attacked Anga! I need to reach Anga and protect my subjects!" Karn said alarming everyone.
"We will accompany you Bhrata...how will you handle everything alone!" Arjun said as he insisted on joining Karna. Karna agreed reluctantly.
Draupadi and Subhadra were prohibited from joining as it would be too risky for the two princesses .
As they reached Anga they could see the huge Magadh army standing before them.
The Magadh king stood against them aiming their target at them. The battle began. The armies were flashing violently against one another. However Karn amd Arjun were too strong together. Within two days The Magadh King was defeated.
"You are defeated Magadh Raj!" Arjun said.
"Shut up Kunti putra. You both dont tell me what to do. I am a real man. And you both! This Karn...he is a sutaputra! Who gave him the right to touch weapons! AND this Arjun! Answer me one thing! Who is your true father! Pandu or Indra! Tell me!" The magadh king said mockingly.
"How dare you Magadh Raj! " Karn and Arjun shouted at the same time.
Arjun didnt take a second to shoot an arrow towards the king but something unexpected happened. A woman suddenly came before the Magadh king taking the arrow on her chest as it started to bleed horribly.

Arjun amd Karn quickly ran towards the girl. She was a very young girl. She was bleeding profusely.
"Putri!" The Magadh King cried.
Karn and Arjun looked at shocked.
This was the princess of Magadh.
"Putri Somlata!" The king said as tears trickled down his face.
Karn and Arjun immediately tended to the lady. Meanwhile the king was imprisoned who kept on hurling abuses at the two warriors.
"She has lost a lot of blood...it will take some time but I will try my best" the doctor declared.
Karn and Arjun were extremely worried about the princess. Injuring a woman was never their intention.
However the princess soon revived .
"Where is my Pitasree?" The girl asked after she had recovered completely.
Katn amd Arjun fidntnknow how to respond. The girl soon realised their silence's significance.
"Forgive us princess " Karn said.
The princess could feel the moisture in her eyes. Bit what could she say! Her father had stubbornly attacked Anga despite her several warnings. She knew how powerful Karn and Arjun were. She herself was a warrior and she had hwadd so many tales about Karn amd Arjun's valour amd talent.
"Can you please take me to Matsyadesh? The prince of Matsyadesh loves me...you can also imprison me like my father " Somlata said as she realised her end. Why would they help her? Her father had tried to kill them!
"We will take you to matsyadesh Rajkumari" Arjuna said and Karn nodded.
Somlata was taken aback. They started their journey to Matsyadesh.
On reaching there Somlata recieved the biggest shock of her life. The prince didnt accept her for she had spent two days with Karn and Arjun. She tried to explain how she was injured but the prince was not ready to listen. He told Somlata to return back and stop dreaming about him. Karn and Arjun were bursting with rage as they saw the poor girl's condition. She was so helpless.

She requested them to return for she couldnt bear the humiliation any longer.
"Where will you go princess?" Karn asked extremely concerned.
"I will stay in the forest. " she barely whispered.
"But it's not safe for you princess" Arjun said.
"I have nowhere else to go " Somlata said as her eyes were filling with tears.
"You should accompany us to Hastinapur! You can stay there in the royal palace" Arjun said.
"Why are you both being so kind to me? My father had tried to kill you" somlata said surprised by the generous proposal.
"That was your father's sin. Moreover we find ourselves responsible for your condition. Though we didnt intend to...it was because of us that you suffered so much" kafn said amd Afjun nodded.
Thus Karn and Arjun returned to Hastinapur with the Magadha princess Somlata. Hardly had they known she would soon be such an important member o f their family.
