A/N: I know it's not the marriage we've all been waiting for, but I've been planning things for this story. In short, it's gonna get more in-depth with a larger storyline to it. So, if you thought that this was only going to be a story about a young princess getting married to our lovely Kouen then you were sadly mistaken.

I don't mean this to make you think, 'oh, great, another story related to the ancient times in magi... How original.' Because for me I'd like to try and make things seem more independent. Like I want this story to be more about the reader and what she might have to overcome, not just her personal issues with an arranged marriage (which means I should probably change the title, if any of you guys have ideas then I'll be glad to listen).

Sorry that this is so long, but I just really wanted to convey why I'm choosing this kind of route. For some reason whenever I start a story I always want it to be more than it seems, like, I want it to have more depth and something special about the main character.

It never sits well with me when I have to make them an ordinary character (not that being ordinary is bad) because then it feels to me that they won't shine as bright and will just seem not as important as other characters in magi or they'll be like that one guy that no one remembers the name of (like seriously I can never remember...). Also, for some reason, I always use things from other shows like how the main character is kind of based on Weiss, but it's not always the exact same thing. I like to make it a bit different.

His name is Nerva (had to search it up..), anyway, I hope you guys will give this a chance and won't think of it as every other magi story that is connected with the times of Alma Torran. I promise I will try to make this something special.

So, enough of my boring ramblings that barely anyone will read, on with the story!

They tugged the hood closer to their head as the wind almost swept it off. They grunted under their breath and gripped onto the white fur of the animal they were riding when it suddenly jumped over a log. They looked ahead only to see nothing but dense trees and no sign of any other animals.

After going through the forest for such a long while they had thought that this quest of theirs was going to be futile. That was until out of the corner of their eye they recognized something, they quickly tugged onto their fur lightly causing the animal to stop. Down at the trunks of the trees were Kodama, they were small spirits that showed a forest was healthy.

Their eyes widened and took the path with the most Kodama covering the forest path. Usually, when the Kodama are covering a forest path that meant that the great beast was nearby. They gritted their teeth, it was a matter of life or death for them to tame it, they couldn't let anyone else get to it. Especially him...

Suddenly, they stopped and looked in front of them. There it was. Right in front of them. It had the appearance of a white wolf, but anyone that took a quick glance would assume that it was blind with the look in its eyes.

They took a deep breath and dismounted from their animal. Giving it a small pat on the neck as a thank you, then, they slowly approached the beast and removed their hood to reveal white hair with a slight h/c tinge to it and a scar running over their eye.
