Akari POV

"One more minute," Kurapika said as we all stood in front of the door.

"I don't know about you guys but I'm ready to get out of here!" I jumped up and down. 

Finally ill be out again. Out of that stupid room. Able to run. Come on, come on, come on! Can this minute be any longer?

The door quickly slid open and I made a break for it. "YEEESSSS!!!" I screamed and did several flips as I ran. 

"Akari wait up!" Gon shouted behind me "Catch me if you can!" I teased running backward.

We ran through several mazes and doors and we finally made it to a room with a green stone lady on it. 

We all quickly pressed  'O' then the speaker said, "Please select a path. The path X is a short and easy path which will take approximately 3 minutes to complete. While the Long and difficult path will require a minimum of 45 hours to complete. If x is selected there must be 2 people chained to the wall with handcuffs.

I took a moment to look at the handcuffs in sorrow. Not again. I'm not doing this again. I thought back to the many time Kumo and I were chained to the wall to view the other being tortured. 

I'm not going to stay here and neither is the others. No one deserves to be left behind. Kumo dint deserve to stay behind either.

I started to listen again to the conversation that's going on around me. Leorio was getting angry with the others for some reason and was declaring that he will be one of the 3 people who stay. The others had already started arguing with him as well. 

Killua was saying that the only reasonable option was fighting. Kurapika was yelling at leorio to stop and calm down and gon was saying that there was another way to solve this. 

That's when the idea hit me. Now all I have to do is get them on board.

I looked around again at thier fighting stances and yelling, took a deep breath and screamed, "SHUT THE HELL UP!!" They immediately snapped thier gazed to me. "I need you to listen to me right now," I said assertively with a bit of bloodlust to show them not to make a move. "For starters, gons right. We need to work together to get out of here. There is a way where we can all get out of this place and make it in time." 

"What is it then? Since your so smart?" Leorio argued and I let out more bloodlust which successfully shut him up. "Any person who knows how to survive knows that you need to use the resources you have. So we're going to use the weapons..." I took a sword off the shelf and slammed it against the wall behind me leaving a gaping hole. "...to break down the wall connecting the O path and the X path."

They all agreed with my idea and we started to tear down the wall.

"Akari?" Kuapika asked while hitting an ax to the wall.

"What's up?" I sighed and looked at him for a sec before returning to work.

"How did you get the idea to break down the walls?" He asked

I can tell everybody was listening for my answer. 

What should my answer be? 

When I was in hell for about 3 years. The person in the cell across from me had an opportunity. He was able to use his anima which was a grizzly bear. He transformed into a giant brown grizzly and started to break down the wall behind him. He was successful for the most part because the guards were low staff and had to walk around the facility instead of thier usual posts every 5 cells. He managed to break down the wall but he was soon shot by a tranquilizer dart by an outside guard. He fell to the floor and the infirmary people took him away.

So I decided to make my answer truthfully but vague. "I've learned from experience. If all doors are closed make your own."

"Hmm" I heard him respond.

Killua POV

There are many ways to understand what she said. All of the guys know that she is still hiding something from us and still refuses to tell us. 

The question is whether she either was speaking literally. Did she compare it to her physically being sealed off from the world or did she intend it to be a more mental/emotional thing where she was cut off from others?

 Wait... she did say she hung out with Netero, menchi, and Satoz for a couple of months before leaving for a while then she came to take the exam. But then what was she doing during the time she left menchi and netero. 

She did not tell us when her mom died and what happened after that. It could have been years until she met Netero and the others. What is she not wanting to tell us about her past?

Akari POV

I was standing at the bow (front) of the boat feeling the ocean mist and breeze against my hair. It's great to be outside again.

I heard some footsteps coming towards me. I smelt the air keeping my gaze on the waves ahead of us. It was killua and gon. 

"What's up, guys?" I casually ask as they stand on both sides of me.

"Not much." Gon says looking at the waves. There was a brief moment of silence until killua spoke up, "What number did you guys get?"

"It wasn't you guys." I casually say

"Same here" Gon added

"It was not either of you." Killua turned so he faced the back of the boat. Another moment of silence came. "What's your card?" I asked gon "Secret," He said looking at me with a smile.

"What's yours?" He asked smirking. Wait he can smirk?! Is that even a smirk? No Ill forget I saw anything. He will stay the little cinnamon bun he is, so I reply with, "Secret" I say with a goofy smile on my face.

Another wave of silence washed over us. I'm getting tired of this.

"How about we show out cards on the count of three," Killua suggested. 

"Sure!" I smile. We all sit down on the floor 

"On the count of three." I say " 1, 2, 3!" We all chant and show our cards.

Killua: (AN- one of the Umori brothers. I forgot his number)

Gon: 44, Hisoka

Akari: 62

Hisoka. Wow. 

I looked at gon to see him shaking and I hear killua speak up, "Gon, are you excited or scared?" he asked. "A little bit of both. I'm no match against Hisoka in a battle, but all I have to do is get the badge so I have a chance." Gon then looked at us and smiled wide. "I know you can do this, gon." I smiled and put a hand on his shoulder. "Un" He nodded his head.

"Who is your number Killua?" I ask him

"I don't know." He responded. "Oh, I know its one of the amori brothers." Gon smiled.

"What about you Akari?" Gon asked

"I don't know who I got. All I know is that its not anyone we have met personally yet," I explained sighing. This is going to be a long week.
