"But father, it's two-thousand seventeen! I can't marry a guy I just met!" I yelled,

"Honey, Honey! Calm down!" He stated trying to calm me down, "Calm down? You want me to calm down?" I asked frustrated, "Listen sweetie, Alfred is a nice guy and I didn't say you would get married at the alter without knowing anything about one another, I'm saying that you get to have four dates with him to get to know him." He explained, "Four dates? Only four dates?" I asked getting pissed, "Look, I'll let you meet him and if you honestly hate him that much then I'll call off the marriage." He sighed, I huffed and walked into dinning room. I sighed and sat down next to the blonde, blued-eyed American.

"Hey, I'm Alfred." He smiled cheerfully. I stared at him and looked down at my plate of steaming hot vegtables. My father faked a cough.

"I'm Y/N." I grumbled and began to pick at my food.

"Y/N, dear don't pick at your food." My mother scolded gently, I looked up at her, "I'm gonna get some air." I stated before exusing my self and walking out on the balconey. I leaned over the railing and looked down at the rest of the world. The wave blew through my L/S/M H/C hair and my blew my light blue dress to the side.

"You are you doing?" A voice called out, I turned around to see Alfred.

"Let me guess, my father told you to come out here?" I asked bluntly, "Actually, I came out here on my own free will." He shrugged, "If you have a free will then why are you being dragged into an aranged marriage?" I asked with a slight snort. He shrugged, "Make my parents happy, I guess." "I could care less if my parents were happy or not that I wasn't married." I sighed bitterly, "How old are you anyways?" He asked, now standing next to me near the railing. "Seventeen, I'll be turning eighteen in a few weeks though." I replied and turned back the edge of the railing, "Seventeen?" He asked, I hummed in response. "You have a whole life infront of you, and they want you to settle down already?" He asked shocked, "Yea, it's because they were aranged too, they think it will do me good I guess." I shrugged, "Listen, I'll understand if you don't want to, but at least give me a chance." He suggested, "And settle down?" I asked, "With me, there isn't a thing called 'settling down.'" He smirked, "Fine, but don't expect me to be happy about it." I explained, "Fine by me."

I woke up to the sun shinning in my face and a pink piece of paper on my nightstand. I sit up and grab it. It read:

Dear Y/N,

Be ready for our date by 11:30. Wear pink.

-Alfed F. Jones

I smiled slightly and checked the time on my phone. Eleven o'clock. I threw my phone to the side and stood up and walked to my closet and pulled out my pink blouse that didn't cover my shoulder and had a lace on the top, a black skirt with pink cherry blossoms, and my light pink converse.

I quickly stripped and threw them on before heading to my bathroom to do my hair and makeup. I ended up settling on a light pink lipgloss and mascarea and left my hair down. By now it was eleven twenty-six, leaving me with four mintues to kill. I sighed and grabbed my phone before walking down stairs and intp the living room to wait.

"What are you doing all dressed up?" My father asked as he saw enter the room.

"Going out." I shrugged, "Going out? With who?" He asked with an eyebrow raised, "Alfred." I stated and heard a knock on the door. "Bye dad!" I exclaimed before opening the door to be greated by Alfred.

"Hey, dollface." He smiled, "Nicknames already?" I asked, as I closed the door behind me. "So what are we doing on this date of ours?" I pondered, "Well, think flowers." He stated as he opened the car door for me. "Flowers?" I asked confused, "A flower festivals, you know theres like flowers and at the end theres a surprise." He explained as he began to drive. "Ooh I like surprises." I snorted, "No need for sarcasm dollface."

"Oh my god! It's beautiful here!" I marveled as I looked around all the stands. "There are flowers everywhere!" I grinned,

"I'm glad you like it." Alfred smiled and scratched the back of his neck awkwardly, "Any in particular that you like?" He asked, "Well, I really like peonies." I trailed, "Why?" "Oh well I was going to buy you some." He mumbled, "That's sweet of you, but you don't have to do that!" I exclaimed with a smile. The rest of the day was kind spent like, walking around looking at all the flowers, which were mostly pink, when all of the sudden he nudged me.

"Look up." I looked up to see airplanes flying over head and droping flowers off of them.

"And I thought that the carts of flowers where amazing." I mumbled in awe, at one point Alfred caught one and slid it into my hair.

"You said you liked peonies." He smiled, I laughed slightly,

"You won me for another date." I smirked, "Really?" He asked shocked, I nodded "Don't make me change my mind. I'll be expecting another piece of paper on my nightstand soon."
