3rd person pov
Haru and y/n have been dating for almost a year. He wants to ask her to homecoming. Thing is he doesn't know how to do so. He searched it up, but instead of searching up "promposal steps" he searched "proposal steps. Step 1) ask their fathers. "huh simple enough." Haru said to himself. He went over this y/n house and asked her dad. "May i ask for your daughter for the night on Saturday" Haru said with a serious face. "sure Haru just make sure she's back before 1am" her dad said with a chuckle. Step two) buy them a beautiful ring. "okay guess I'm going to a jewluers." Haru said, he didn't expect it to be this much. He went down to the jewelry store. He picked up a nice ring and out it in a black velvety jewelry box. Step 3) take them on a date to a nice dinner.  "y/n are u free tonight?" Haru asked. "tonight?  Yep just like every night what's up" y/n responded with a slight giggle. "well you do now, get ready be there at 6pm taking you to a restaurant." Haru said in a good mood. He hung up and they both got ready. Step 4) know what your going to say. Haru thought this through his head.  "What am I going to say to y/n?" he asked himself. An idea came to mind "Yes perfect!" he said to himself roudly proud.  Soon Haru drove to pick y/n up. Step 5) be a gentleman. He looked at her "wow you look amazing" she blushed at the compliment and thanked him. He opened the car door for her and closed it once she got in. Step 6) start a normal conversation. This was an easy step they just talked about what they usually talk about. He was enjoying everything he almost forgot about asking her. Step 7) get on one knee. He told her he had to tie his shoes as an excuse but surprised her by him being on one knee. Step 8) open the box with the ring. He did this self explanatory step. Step 9) pop the big question with your small speech. "y/n this year has been the best year of my life. I love spending my days with you, here is am. I hope that you will say yes. Will you go to prom with me?" Haru said quite confidently. Step 10) if they say yes slide the ring on their finger. Y/n laughed and nodded. "Haru of course I'll go to prom with you." y/n said. He grabbed her hand and slid the ring on her finger. "gess Haru you made it seem like a wedding proposal instead of a promposal." she said still with a big smile. Haru laughed although he did not understand.
~days later after prom~
Haru went through his inernet history and saw that he searched "proposal" instead of "promposal". He mentality face palmed. He felt stupid but was happy that y/n still loves him even when he makes the stupidest mistakes."
