Shakthi and pinky were very happy to see shivaay with tia. They were happy that shivaay finally dating someone who matches to their status in the society. They just assumed when shivaay talked with her for the continuous two hours and shared a drink with her.

"I think he will get over from that desi-girl." - Pinky said to Shakthi who was standing next to her having scotch. Pinky came to know about his contact with anika when shivaay denied coming to his home for the past three years. Without knowing the whole story, She made up a very bad impression about anika.

"I know about my son. He will back to his track." - Shakthi said while taking the sip. The hate for anika automatically created in their mind without knowing the whole story. Om listened to everything and wondered how someone can ditch their own son's life for a selfish reason. And they hardly needed the clarification about anika from shivaay. Om knew it was completely shivaay's choice and Anika was the one to send him to the party. Om waved at shivaay, But up to his shock, He ignored him.

"What the hell happened to him?" - Om whispered and decided to go towards him. But tia took him to the dance floor holding his wrist as she owns it. Om was hell confused. He tried to stop him as much he could but the alcohol he had, And the newly fonded attraction blinded him. The thought of tia didn't cross him in these three and a half years. But when she came infront of him. He had no idea what happened to him.

Shivaay had no idea when he reached the pub with her. But they were present in the middle and the EDM hit his ears and the whole situation was not so clear to him. Tia introduced him to her friend. "What happened?" - She whispered moving towards him. His leg hit on the edge of the bed and he lost the balance. She willingly fell next to him and tried to get hold of him. But he jerked off her hand continuously. Tia was shocked when he turned around and started to whisper. Tears crossed from his eyes. She noticed that.

"Hey, Are you okay?" - She asked while turning him around. And she heard her name. Anika.

Anika bid bye to her father who came to the airport to send her off. And bhavya and rudy also accompanied them. Along with anika's father, Gauri's parents also present there to send her off who constantly told her to eat healthily which she hardly listens. Anika again tried to call him. But he didn't respond.

"He must not be busy for this much longer." - Anika said to Kalpana showing her text.

"Ani baby, Relax. Within 24 hours, We will be in California. Meet him directly and ask him. Even slap him, We won't ask you anything. But please wipe off this stress and enjoy it. WE ARE GOING TO CALIFORNIA..." - Kalpana yelled in excitement. She would have jumped at the spot if her parents weren't watching her.

"Shall I say I am on my way to L.A?" - Anika asked her friends.

"Then what's the point of surprising him." - Gauri asked her.

"I don't know why i am so scared? Is he even fine? Why can't he reply to anyone of my messages?" - Anika spelled out of anger, She felt like breaking her phone but the price of her first phone came to her mind and stopped her doing that.

"Ani. Relax. We will be there in L.A tomorrow."- Kalpana stopped her and they get into the plane.

"Leave everything. How will his brother look like?" - Gauri asked when they finally took their seat. Anika was in edge, Kalpana was in the adjacent side and Gauri sat next to anika in the window seat.

"Why do you want to know about his brother?" - Anika asked her confusingly.

"Lucky you! Your boyfriend will occupy you, And for kalpi, I am cent percent sure she will find an American to pass her time. What will i do till then?" - Gauri asked her but stopped her blabbering when the air hostess who asked her to wear the seat belt.

"What you say, Isn't we make the best pair? - Gauri asked her while cupping her face innocently.

"No" - Anika said in an instant looking at her.

"Ani. Yaar. Don't be so ignorant." - Gauri asked her.

"Well, thanks for reminding me." - She said and took her earphones from her handbag. And plugged it inside her ears.

After a complete 24 hours, She reached Los Angels, California. Over the entire travel, Her two friends made her occupied. The trio stopped walking when they crossed the guy who handed a boarding having all the three names.

"Hi, Austin." - He introduced himself to her shook his hand with all the three. He was arranged by gauri's father who was taking care of their accommodation in the city. It was a month internship where surprisingly anika and her friends got selected. They came to the town in the end of December. Anika always had a fantasy to see States during Christmas. And finally, her fantasy came true.

"I am tensed, Dude. Shall we go to his home, First?" - Anika asked her friends who were in her either side. They both kept their hand in their head at the same time.

"Bhaisaab" - Gauri called Austin who was driving the car.

"What?" - He asked her shockingly when he couldn't get the meaning of it.

"I mean brother. We used to call people who are helping us in that name, Please don't mind." - Gauri apologized. Austin got delighted when she explained it cutely.

"No. I like it. Please call me in that name." - Austin asked her. All the trio smiled. Gauri took Anika's phone from her hand and shown it to him.

"Okay, Bhaisaab. If possible can you please take us to this address, It's urgent. Please." - Gauri asked.

"Just 16 km away. I can." - He said and turn the car to the right side. After having a conversation with him, They came to know he was not a driver but gauri's father's friend's son. Anika thanked the god that she didn't yell at him for moving slow where her heartbeat racing fast than the speed of the car. She just wants to see him alright, That's it.

"Here we arrive." - He said while stopping tesla nearer to the house which had a giant gate.

"Shall we call him?" - Kalpana asked her. Austin gave his phone to her as her phone wasn't supporting. She needed a sim. Anika dialed his number but as usual, he didn't attend the call.

"WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH HIM?" - Anika yelled out of patience.

"He didn't pick your call." - Kalpana asked her shockingly, She nodded no. She exchanged the glances with Gauri who was confused like her.

"Okay, Call Om. He might be next to him." - Kalpana asked him. Anika did the same and he attended her call in the second ring.

"Hello, Om. Anika here. Give the phone to shivaay, Is he there with you?" - She asked him as soon as he attended the call.

"Anika, Where are you? Are you in US?" - He checked the phone and asked her.

"Yeah, Outside the gate, Can you please give the phone to shivaay?" - She asked, He didn't say anything but he came outside and opened the gate for her. Anika and her friends got off from the car. Kalpana and Gauri exchanged the glances when they felt that he was not surprised but shocked by her visit.

"Where is shivaay?" - Anika asked him as soon as he came close to her.

"Shivaay." - He struggled. "He went back to hostel" - He finally made up to anika. Kalpana and Gauri read the hesitant in his tone but Anika couldn't.

"But he said, He has taken three days to leave." - Anika asked him.

"Some urgent work, It seems. Why are you guys waiting here, Come inside?" - He asked and All the four including Austin came inside. Pinky crossed their way when they were about to enter. Pinky recognized her at the very next second.

"Hey, You. Harshavarthan Trivedi's daughter, Right?" - She asked as soon as her eyelids crossed anika.

"Hi, Aunty." - She greeted warmly.

"What's up?" - Pinky asked her.

"Mom. I invited them." - Om interrupted her.

"Oh, wow. Then they are my guest too. Why can't you take the seat?" - Pinky asked her and proceeded the way towards the drawing-room. Om became too tensed.

"And what you like to have, beta?" - Pinky asked anika in a sugarcoated tone.

"No thanks for asking, Aunty" - Anika denied. But Pinky ordered her servants to bring lassi for everyone and sat opposite to her.

"You're shivaay's classmate, Right." - Pinky asked while serving the lassi to them. Anika nodded while taking the gulp.

"Om, Call shivaay and ask him to come back soon. Say his classmate came over to see him." - Pinky asked Om who stumped his feet when she asked him to do so. Anika turned her face towards him. He couldn't face Anika.

"These generation kids, During the party, He went with his girlfriend Tia, You know right, Tia Kapoor a famous personality. How do you know? You just now came to L.A, Right. It has been two days, Still, he didn't come back. But we parents have to give some space to them, Right." - She said in her sugarcoated tone. Anika was shell-shocked like her friends. It became too difficult for her to swallow the lassi which was in her throat. She looked at om, He couldn't match his eyelids with her. She understood. Gauri started to search her in Facebook and show the picture to Kalpana which was from Tia's friends of friends who tagged her. Tia and shivaay captured in a hugging pose from the background.

"Anika. I can explain it." - Om said as soon as his mom excused herself.

"Can you explain this?" - Gauri showed the phone to him. He was spellbound. Anika became silent on the other hand when she saw the picture.

"Anika. This." - Om started but stopped when all the four stood up one by one.

"The fault is with us, Mr. Oberoi. Can you do one favor?" - Kalpana asked him holding anika's hand who was too silent.

"Please, Don't say we came here searching for him." - Kalpana said and left the house holding anika's hand. Austin left with them, Confused. Om tried to convey the information to her but as usual, He didn't pick his call.
