Aphmau POV

I wake up to the alarm that I had set. It took me and Silver so long to try and work it that I had to take it to Ms April. It's not my fault I've never worked with technology! Anyway, I take a bath since I don't know how to use the shower before getting changed into the uniform provided for me.

"Looking goooood Jess." Silver comments as I walk out of the bathroom. My real name is Jessica and Aphmau is my middle name but I don't need people knowing my real name. The reason of that is because I do t want anybody trying to search up my private files.

"Let's just get this over with. I have never been to a school or close to so many other humans. This is all new to me." I pick Silver up and place her in a shoulder bag before grabbing my backpack full of my books that I found on the dresser.

"Maybe you should try to make some friends?" She looks up at me.

"No, I can't. Don't you remember what happened with the last people I trusted? In this world you can't trust anybody but Pokémon. I only came here so you can get the proper care and food. Anything you need and the need of other Pokémon who are in need of help." I tell her.

"Fine. If you don't want to have any relationships with others then don't talk to anybody at all. Only talk when the teachers speak to you. You can do that, correct? I don't want you to become broken like back then." She tells me.

"Thanks for the information. Now let's go." I go to the kitchen quickly and get some snacks, putting them in the shoulder bag that has Silver. I put them in a side pocket so she cant eat them. I know how she is. I also quickly make a lunch for myself, down to eat now and more for later so I don't have to eat with everybody else. As soon as I finish my sandwich, I hear a knocking on the door. I go over to it and open it.

"Good morning Aphmau, how was your sleep?" Ms April asks. I leave the room and shit the door behind me.

"It was very nice. Thank you for bringing me here." I reply to her.

"Anyway, class is about to start so let's get down there! Have you eaten already?" She asks as we make our way to the classroom.

"I have." I reply to her, making her sigh.

"You aren't going to talk much are you? I guess that's okay... being away from other people for so long will make you uncomfortable." We are now in front of the classroom. "At least make some friends. Anyway, you stay here until I call you in." She walks into the class, leaving the door slightly open so I can hear her.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, class. And good morning, everyone!" Ms April exclaims.

"Good morning!" The class replies to her.

"As I mentioned yesterday, we have a new member for our class." Ms April says, making the class go up in a commotion.

"Is it a guy? Or a girl? Which is it?" Somebody asks.

"Is the new student cute? Cool? Look like a celebrity?" Somebody else replies to the first student.

"Okay, that's enough! You can see for yourself. Here's our latest classmate! Come on in!" Ms April exclaims. I take this moment to walk into the classroom, Silver popping her head out of my bag to see who is on the class. She has always been over protective of me so she always makes sure to know the people around me.

"Is that a shiny eevee? It's so adorable!" One of the female students squeal.

"Our new friend came to our Almia to become a Pokemon Ranger. Oh yes. You should introduce yourself to our class rather than me. Let's start with your name."

"My name is Aphmau." I tell them with an emotionless voice.

"Okay, our new friend is named Aphmau. Let's make her feel welcome. I understand that she scored quite high on our entrance exam... What is it, Sky?Why the big grin? Anyway, we had better get you seated somewhere, Aphmau. You can have the seat next to Sky." I look over to the person who had a big grin. He is sat at a table with a few other guys.

"She is so lucky to get to sit at the table with the most popular boys in this school!" One girl whisper/exclaims to her friend. I roll my eyes as I sit down in the seat next to Sky.

"Okay, that will do. That's it for treating you like a new transfer student. From now on, you're my students, people whom I can take pride in teaching. Let's do it everyone... Let's not fail your dreams of becoming Rangers, Operators, and Mechanics!" Ms April exclaims.

"Yeah!" The class shouts, cheering. I just sit there, not being bothered by anything.

"Okay, I'll change the class schedule specially for today. This will be a free-study class." She starts going over how to use the school styler. It's more simpler then I thought.

"This is so boring." The guy next to me says. I already forgot his name.

"Well if you think this is so boring then why don't you and your friends take our new friend around the school?" Ms April asks. He stands up with the rest of the table so I also stand up.

"Sure! Let's go newbie!" He hooks his arm with mine, along with a boy with brown hair before they drag me out of class, the others following me. Silver jumps out of my bag, tackling Sky off of me before tackling the other boy. She then jumps in my arms.

"Stupid boys trying to touch my partner." She glares at them.

"Looks like somebody is feeling fine now." I mumble to her.

"You know that I have quick healing." She replies to me. I place her in my shoulder.

"Well I'm Sky and I'm going to become a ranger." Sky says.

"Rossssss! I'm going to be a ranger also." The other boy who hooked arms with me shouts.

"The name is Max. I'm going to be an operator." The red haired boy says. "Don't make me mad and we will be okay."

"I'm Jin, the smart one of the group and I'm aiming to be a mechanic." The guy with black hair says.

"Together we are the Sky Army!" Sky exclaims.
