Regular Wars

Regular Wars are initiated by the War of Writers Admins (they will be marked with a green role in the Discord server) and will occur on a set schedule pre-determined by the Admins. Every participant will be given an equal amount of time to prepare their submission. Extensions will not be granted.

Group Wars

Group Wars are initiated by the War of Writers Admins and will occur on a set schedule pre-determined by the Admins. Every team will be expected to select a Team Captain. The Team Captains will be provided a roster of participants and will select their teammates until both teams are full, under the supervision of the Admins. Both teams will be given an equal amount of time to prepare their submission. Extensions will not be granted, unless there are extenuating circumstances (i.e., timezone differences, death of a family member, etc.) preventing the participation of a member.

Clash of Champions

Clash of Champions can be initiated by anyone in the API Fantasy & Fiction Authors Discord Server. There are three conditions that must be met before a Clash of Champions challenge can be issued:

1: A War of Writers Admin must validate the challenge.

2: There must be at least three judges involved and these include members of the APIFantasy, APIRomance, and The FoodCatalogue team, unless the challenge involves a profile team member.

3. Both sides competing in the Clash of Champions must agree to have the challenge. If one is unwilling to participate, the challenge will be considered void.

4. Both sides must agree on a date their challenge submission is due. If there is an extenuating circumstance that may require an extension of the due date, both parties must agree.
