The Apple festival was a success that lead to a beautiful romance to bud between not one but two couples that fated night, and Rei for once truthfully had no worry on her mind of the past she once had, it all was forgotten when she danced with the {H/C} beauty that night.

It had lead to them both becoming an actual couple, the town wasn't very surprised at that fact either that the two had decided to actually get together a few nights after the festival, the same could be said for Keith whom gave his best friend Cal a chance, and well he does not regret it.

It's been almost a week since the Apple festival, and at the moment Keith and {Y/N} had decided to catch up on the most recent events, well truth be told they ran into each other while gathering some eggs from the chickens that morning.

"You haven't taken her to the Apple tree yet?" Keith questioned his friend with a frown as he held his basket of eggs, feathers in his hair and scratches up his arms, chickens always hated him no mater how kind he was to them, "You know it's tradition in Ringo to take the one you like to pick an apple from the sacred tree".

"Keith I've only been with her for a week" {Y/N} told her friend with a sigh, "I don't wish to rush things, we both know the Ringo laws" she held her basket of eggs not one scratch on her from the chickens, "wait don't tell me you did it?" at his guilty look her eyes lit up, "who was it, was it that handsome fellow you were dancing with at the festival, oh my you two moved quite fast, so how'd it go?".

"Ah well seems we were fated to be after all" Keith scratched the back of his head with his free hand, a small blush appearing on his face, "honestly I was a bit scared that it wouldn't turn out well kid, but it seems I now have a Husband".

"Soulmates are hard to come by, but I'm glad you found yours" she told him, happy for her old friend, "I'll drop some apple candy off for you two later" he nodded glad she was happy for him, honestly he was quite happy for giving Cal a chance.

And so the two kept each other company till they bid one another goodbye going their separate ways that day, unaware of the storm that was soon to come for somebody would try and ruin the peace of the small town just to learn that those that mess with Ringo will always get what was coming to them.

For the small town was a family, no mater the differences everyone there stood up for each other, and if anyone tried to harm someone from that town well good luck to them in the next life time.

Cal took a sip from his tea as he stared at the white haired beauty whom came to ask him about the towns culture, "Ah the apple tree, it's an old tradition here in Ringo" he told her "if you and your partner pick a sweet apple your soulmates, if your apple is bitter and rotten your not meant to be" he took another sip from his cup.

"Ah sounds simple, but what's this about those whom pick a sweet apple being married?" Rei was quite curious as to how such a thing lead to marriage, though she was quite worried as to what if the apple her and {Y/N} picked one day would be bitter? what if they weren't meant to be? somebody that actually treated her like she was actually somebody and not a tool.

"Ah yes that's basically how you get married here in Ringo" Cal told her, placing his tea cup down, "it's how we've done things for a long while here darling, thus meaning you and your apple girl might as well hurry up and get to it before someone tries to take her from you, trust me when I say I'm certain you two belong to one another so no need to worry"

"But what if-"

"Butt's are for sitting on Rei" he told her "you two are basically soulmates just trust me" he watched her lift her tea cup and take a sip not wishing to speak again as she started to think, ah maybe Cal should tell her about his quirk, but what would be the fun in such a thing when people knew he could see into the future it made things a lot less fun.

Cal saw the two of them being together, he saw what was to come, he knew of the brewing storm, however he did wonder how his dear cousin was doing being in the heroes world, oh well for now he'd just wait and watch it all unfold as the pieces fell into place.

For he knew fate always had their ways to play a game, to make it interesting after all.
