"Shall we go home to our new house my queen?" Lax asked Glace.

"Sure, let's go," Glace responded and turned to the others. "Well, we're going to go home first. Good night, everyone, be careful on the way back! Oh, and don't forget, the meet up is tomorrow!" She then went in the car with her husband and left for their new home.

"Welp, it's time to go home but..." Jena trailed off as she glanced at Mia, who was asleep. She tried waking her up but to no avail. She looked to the side and saw that the rest of the moms were asleep as well, with Manyee trying to wake them up. The two shared a glance and nodded. Manyee went to Xin and Malik and asked them to help carry the other moms while Jena pulled out her phone and ordered a GoCar.

'Goodbyes' and 'good luck' followed everyone as they prepared to go. The staff of the wedding reception started cleaning and packing up stuff too. With a screech, Rensa rode off into the night, accompanied by her doll and Gail. Xin, still shaken by the events of the haunted doll, soon left too with Jolyn. Rika followed suit, with a few quick bows and a quick talk with the staff. Scar and Kaz were accompanied by Malik and a few others.

Jena was on the way home with a sleeping Mia. Manyee had offered to take Laura, Dawn, and Abby back to their houses. Midway home, Mia suddenly woke up and scared Jena who was reading Wattpad at the time. "HOLY- Omg, mom, you scared me."

"Jena? What, where are we?" Mia asked in confusion.

There was a sigh. "We're on our way home Mom, you ah.. fell asleep?"

"Oh... wait, when did I fall asleep?"

"After your dance with Glace. Blaze put alcohol in your drink along with Manyee's, Kaz's, Laura's, Abby's. Well, at least I think it was Blaze. I saw him near the drinks area, it's just a guess so don't take it too seriously yet. I'll text Quake about it later."

"I see..." Mia mused, massaging her aching head. "Can I call him later as well? I need to have a small talk with him, mother-to-mother." She smiled sweetly, and it was sending shivers down Jena's spine. She just nodded at Mia's statement and quickly warned Quake.

In the marriage car, the newlywed couple was already spending some quality time together. Glace, who was slightly tired from the wedding, soon dozed on Lax's shoulder. Lax sneaked a glance at Glace's peaceful features and smiled at her innocence. He slipped back a stray strand of hair behind her ear and looked away, a slight tint of pink on his cheeks. It would be their first night together, he mused, and with a grin forming in his face, he entertained the thoughts of everyday married life: cooking together, cuddling in front of a warm, blazing fire, and innocently sleeping beside each other.

It would be the start of what would be their happiness as a married couple.

"My queen, we're here."

Glace hummed in reply to her husband's gentle voice as her eyes fluttered open. She didn't realize that she had fallen asleep on Lax's shoulder.

Lax let out a small chuckle and pulled his wife closer. Glace was still trying to process everything, having just woken up. Seeing this, Lax held her bridal style and started to carry her to the bedroom of their new house.

"H-hey!" Glace exclaimed, her face red from blushing so much. Lax chuckled as a response as he continued carrying his wife.

He arrived at their bedroom and dumped Glace unceremoniously on the bed. Without even bothering to remove his clothes, he snuggled up beside her.

"Are you honestly gonna sleep in that tuxedo? Because I don't plan on wearing this itchy gown to bed. Nor do I want to sleep with makeup on." Glace raised an eyebrow at her husband.

"Aww, come on, Glace. I'm already comfy," Lax whined as he cuddled closer to her.

"I'm sure you can find a more comfortable position once we've changed," Glace winked at him before promptly standing up and, removing her heels, skipped to the bathroom.

Lax gaped at his wife, his mind reeling at the comment that Glace had thrown at him. He shook his head, before deciding to follow his wife's footsteps.

When Glace got out of the bathroom, she found her husband on his nightclothes. She herself was wearing a black silky nightgown, and her hair was hanging just above her waist. She swiftly made her way to the bed, beside her husband, and prepared herself for their first night together.

Adjusting herself, Glace pecked his husband's lips before cuddling in beside him. Lax smiled and wrapped his arms around his wife, pulling her closer to him. He could smell the fragrance of the soap that she usually used, and smiled.

"Good night, my queen," Lax murmured, before kissing her forehead.

"Good night, love."

It was nearly midnight. Kaz packed her suitcase and got ready to leave. Her departure was sudden, and she didn’t know who to tell. After a quick decision, she went over to Dawn and Abby’s shared house.

Once she reached there, she knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer. Fortunately for her, Dawn was still awake and opened the door after her fifth knock. She looked at Kaz while rubbing her eyes. She was still wearing her pajamas.

"K-Kaz?" Dawn said in surprise.

"Hey Dawn," Kaz replied.

"What are you doing here? It's like,” Dawn checked the time on her watch, “11:58.”

"Well, I need you to do me a favor. You see… I'm leaving," Kaz said nervously, scratching her cheek.

"W-what!? You’re leaving, why?"

Kaz averted her eyes. "College. It'll take a few years."

"What about the others? Did you tell them?" Dawn opened the door wide and tried to usher her inside, but Kaz declined.

"No.. I didn't want to say goodbye in person. It's late, and I can’t bear the looks on their faces when they knew. I'll just send a little something to you later. Can you share it with the others for me?"

"I.. are you sure?"

"Yea. I have to go now. Goodbye Dawn, it was fun as it lasted." Kaz said as she walked to her car and opened the door. She stood there and looked back.

Dawn looked at her and walked up to her. The two hugged for the last time before Kaz went in the car.

"I know that this is your decision and I respect that.Take care of yourself, okay?" Dawn said looking through the open window of Kaz's car.

"Will do. Thank you for respecting my decision, Dawn. Goodbye." Kaz said as she closed the window. She waved her hand at Dawn before leaving.

Dawn waved back as she watched her leave. Once the car was out of sight, the dam opened, her tears fell down. Just like that, one of her friends had left.

She stood up and walked back into her house, locking the front door as she left. Tears kept on flowing from her cheeks, and she walked to the kitchen to make herself some tea.

Dawn sat in front of the fireplace in her living room, holding an empty cup of tea and a blanket wrapped around her body. Tissues were on the floor surrounding her. The tears had stopped flowing some time ago, but there were still a few occasional ones that escaped from her eyes.

She sighed and put down the cup on the table, before laying down on the couch. I hope this was all just a dream...

A few minutes later, the door opened. Abby had left her room to grab herself a midnight snack. She noticed that the fireplace was lit. Walking further into the living room, she noticed the figure curled up in front of the fireplace. The figure was her friend and housemate, Dawn.

"Dawn? Why are you up? It's almost midnight."

There was no response.

"Dawn?"

Abby approached Dawn and saw that she was asleep. The tissues around the couch were enough to tell her that Dawn had been crying. She gave Dawn a hug before carefully carrying her back to her room. Abby went back to the living room to clean up and extinguished the fire. She went to go get her midnight snack and went back to bed.

Finally, the first chapter of the sequel.

Just so you know, the entire story has been planned already. There's a few... dark scenes in some of the chapters. Don't worry, you will be warned when it comes and just be given a summary at the bottom of the scene itself.

Anyway, I hope you like this chapter. The next part is being written as of now, and will, most probably, be posted sometime this week.

Lovelots,

Glace, the Queen of Angst
