When we fly to Lake Verity, we find that Dia and Elena are also helping Professor Rowan, Professor Berlitz, and Lucas against Team Galactic grunts.

"Ah, guys! What timing! Those Team Galactic scoundrels are after the legendary Pokémon! You've got to help Lucas!" Professor Rowan says.

And as we battle some grunts, we already see the flying boat leaving, and Lucas is dealing with Mars and after we reach her, she says, "That face... It brings back bad memories! I'm talking about the Valley Windworks and Iron Island! I caught a whole lot of trouble for those little incidents."

"Yeah, you try to destroy Iron Island, if it wasn't for my Dad, the island would be nothing." I say.

"How cute! You think you can save the day in your little game of heroes? Not a chance! Not even a teeny one! You're all going down!"

Then we also battle her Bronzor, Purugly, and Golbat. During the battle, our Grotle evolves into Torterra and learns the new move Earthquake to destroy them.

Torterra: The Continent Pokemon: Grass and Ground Type. Evolve from Grotle at LV:32. Groups of this Pokémon migrating in search of water have been mistaken for "moving forests."

"I lost again... So, first the windworks, next the Iron Island, and now Lake Verity I owe you for! This shouldn't be happening to Team Galactic's Commander..."

She takes a breath and says, "...Calm down, Mars... I've done my part in all of this... My mission was to transport the lake's Pokémon to our HQ... ...That's right! I accomplished my mission without a problem! Team! We're pulling out! The boss is waiting at the HQ! The Pokémon of the three lakes are connected somehow. Thanks to Saturn's grandstanding at Lake Valor, a cavern appeared here. It was the cavern where the Pokémon Mesprit slept. Mesprit appeared, too, probably to go help its friends. That worked out well for us. It was super easy to catch."

"What?" We are surprised to hear what she says. "So, now we've got them all: Mesprit, "the Being of Emotion." Azelf, "the Being of Willpower." Uxie, "the Being of Intelligence." Now that we have them all... You can look forward to what plans Team Galactic has in store for them!"

Then she escapes once more, and we decide to tell them everything. Rowan says, "I see... This also occurred at Lake Valor... Another legendary Pokémon was taken away by Team Galactic... All of you went up against full-fledged criminals... The fact that you're unharmed is reason enough to celebrate."

Dia says, "And it is also a good thing that Hunter J is gone forever, all that's left is Hunter E who is probably heading to Lake Acuity to take Uxie."

I say, "I have to trust Barry on this one, but since Snowpoint City is where the next gym is located, we'll be going there as well."

We arrive at Chocovine Town, where Dawn will have her Contest battle. As we explore the harbor, they notice some stands having Pokemon that look like Manaphy.

"Are those Manaphy?" Daniel asks.

"No, those are Phione." The merchandise owner says, "It is said that Phione can bring us good luck to those who spot them."

I say, "Not only that, there is a Submarine over there, and maybe we can see Phione up close."

"I am going to see it since I heard that every Coordinator that visited this town and saw a Phione won the Contest in the end." Dawn says.

After we fail to see any Phione at the submarine, we decide to send out Manaphy.

"Papa, Mama, what's up?" Manaphy asks.

"This is a festival for Phione, so I want you to spend with us through the festival." I say.

"Yeah! Play time." Manaphy cheers as he goes with Pikachu.

Tox says, "Wow, he is energetic."

"Yeah. But he is Manaphy after all." I chuckle.

Just then, when they get back, Manaphy is holding an egg, much to our shock.

"Where do you get that egg?" Lillie asks.

"Phione gives me." He points at the ocean. Then the egg starts to glow, and a Phione appears.

"It is a Phione..." Gladion says with surprise.

Then he wakes up and starts to say Lillie and I are his Papa and Mama, causing us to blush once more and Pikachu and the others to giggle. Manaphy is also happy to have a brother.

But Team Rocket tries to steal both Mythical Pokemon, Manaphy and Phione use Ice Beam to put Team Rocket on ice so Pikachu can blast them into the sky. We then capture him with a Pokeball and enjoy the rest of the festival.

Phione: The Sea Drifter Pokemon: Water Type. A Pokémon that lives in warm seas. It inflates the flotation sac on its head to drift and search for food.

Dawn and Pachirisu are practicing for the Chocovine Contest, just a day away. Pachirisu's reward for hard work is a delicious Poffin treat, but Dawn's Mamoswine and another Coordinator's Gabite deny Pachirisu even a single bite of Poffin. Pachirisu uses a new move, Super Fang, to attack Gabite for stepping on its Poffin, but doesn't even make a dent.

"Gabite. There you are!" Just then, a girl arrives and asks, "What's wrong with that Pachirisu? I must say someone isn't having a good job raising that Pachirisu."

Dawn says, "If you look under Gabite's foot you'll understand."

Then she notices the Poffin on Gabite's feet and gasps in shock. "Since Gabite steps on Pachirisu's favorite food..."

"If that's the case, I can help you. No Pokemon can resist my Poffins." But Pachirisu doesn't like the smell and refuses.

"The Poffins vary for different Pokemon." I say, and then the girl says, "Wait, you are the Wallace Cup winner with the famous Coordinator, Ash Ketchum."

"Yeah, I did..." Dawn says.

"But it is an accident, nobody can beat a mythical that easily, I can tell Ash is holding back on you."

"So tell me, are you also there in the Wallace Cup?" I ask, and she says, "I did. The name's Ursula, but I was eliminated in the first round I didn't remember."

Though I try to help saying how strong Dawn is, and Ursula says, "You're right! Thanks to her I started working doubly hard, to become a better, more beautiful, more graceful Coordinator. You know I should thank you for defeating me Dawn, because of you I am where I am today!" She mocks and leaves.

"That girl..." Dawn says in anger.

"Calm down, Dawn, you can win against her." Lillie says as she tries to calm her down.

The next day, the Chocovine Contest begins with Dawn's Lopunny displaying its aerial Ice Beam skills. Next, Jessie puts on her Jessilina disguise and shows off her Yanmega. Then it's Ursula's turn, and her Wormadam (Sandy Cloak) takes the Contest by Sandstorm. All three make it to the second round and begin to battle their way to the top, where Ursula and Gabite defeat Jessie and Carnivine.

"Wow, she is good." Dawn says.

"Yeah, she can be a great rival, too." I say.

"What do you think, Mamoswine?" Dawn asks, only to get a snore.

That sets the stage for a final round battle between Ursula and Dawn, and even Dawn's disobedient Mamoswine starts paying attention to the action.

Ursula's Gabite is up against Dawn's Pachirisu, and Pachirisu's spinning dodges or Super Fang attack don't affect Gabite one bit. Things look bad for Pachirisu, but Dawn keeps her cool and leads Pachirisu to a comeback. First, it counters Gabite's Stone Edge with Discharge, then uses its tail to block Gabite's Dragon Claw. As Pachirisu spins into a Super Fang attack, time is called: Dawn and Pachirisu win.

"I win!" Dawn cheers for her victory, Ursula says, "A perfect example of being saved by the bell." And walks away.

Dawn is awarded the fourth ribbon, we then leave the town heading to Snowpoint City.

Inside Mt. Coronet, we do some training, and that's when both Daniel and my Bronzor evolve into a Bronzong.

Bronzong: The Bronze Bell Pokemon: Steel and Psychic Type. Evolve from Bronzor at LV:33. One caused a news sensation when it was dug up at a construction site after a 2000-year sleep.

We're now at Route 216, but it is starting to get cold. "Man... I can't even tell which direction we're heading..."

"This sure is an insane weather..." Dawn says.

As we continue to be stranded in the blizzard, we find a Froslass who comes to us. "Froslass?"

"Please... follow me." We follow the Froslass as the blizzard is dying down, we arrive at the ice cave which doesn't seem to be cold, and she says, "My daughter has been missing for a long time, I need your help to find her."

"I see... can you tell us the details?" I continue to ask, and the Froslass says, "There was a poacher that I saved from the blizzard, but he instead steal my daughter away."

"So it's a Poacher's doing." Lillie says. "Don't worry, we will help you out."

We eventually find the poacher with a Glalie, and the Snorunt is trapped in the cave. The poacher reveals that Snorunt are very valuable on the Pokemon Black Market, and also the one who betrays the trust of Froslass. I use Magmortar while Lillie sends out Bastiodon to defeat the Poacher and save the Snorunt. We also call Officer Jenny to take him away.

Back at the cave, Froslass is happy to see her daughter back, and then Snorunt decides to evolve, she touches the Dawn Stone Froslass gives to her. Then both daughter and mother decide to join us.

Froslass: The Snow Land Pokemon: Ice and Ghost Type. Evolve from Female Snorunt with Dawn Stone. It freezes foes with an icy breath nearly -60 degrees F. What seems to be its body is actually hollow.

As we continue to train our Pokemon, we also evolve our Stunky into Skuntank, but the smell is not something we can actually put up with.

Skuntank: The Skunk Pokemon: Poison and Dark Type. Evolve from Stunky at LV:34. It sprays a stinky fluid from its tail. The fluid smells worse the longer it is allowed to fester.

When we are on our way, we train our Pokemon, but our Shiny Pachirisu falls right into a Hippowdon's mouth! Hippowdon burrows back beneath the surface, so the chase is on to catch up with it as it pops in and out of the sand.

Team Rocket tries to take the Hippowdon, so we are trying to get the Hippowdon to safety, after freeing Pachirisu, our own Hippopotas evolve into Hippowdon and send them flying, and then we bid farewell to the Hippowdon and continue heading north to Route 217.

Hippowdon: The Heavyweight Pokemon: Ground Type. Evolved from Hippopotas at LV:34. Its huge mouth is almost seven feet across. It has enough power to completely crush a car.
