When we continue to make preparations in Cynthia's villa, we suffer a power outrage. Officer Jenny comes and informs us that the Dragon Pokémon, Dragonite, has apparently attacked the power plant. Officer Jenny reveals that she came to ask for Cynthia's help in capturing the rogue Pokémon, but since Cynthia is not home and Iris is here, she decides to ask for her help instead.

When we arrive at the Power Plant, we try to help Dragonite. Dragonite's wing is injured and he uses a Flamethrower at the ceiling, sending parts of the ceiling raining down and blocking the exit he had just made, and we're separated from Iris and the others.

Officer Jenny tells us about her plan to call in some Trainers from Undella Town in order to bring the Dragonite out by force, but we refuse to let them as we try to find some proof to help the Dragonite. When we get back from the surveillance room, we find that Officer Jenny already has trainers to fight for Dragonite and Iris also threatens them to battle her first before reaching Dragonite. It is then that we show a video of Dragonite being injured in the process of trying to protect the flock a Pidove. However, before Dragonite is able to leave the power plant, he collapses from his injuries.

At the Pokémon Center, Nurse Joy and Audino are treating Dragonite's injuries. Officer Jenny arrives and decides to forgive Dragonite and lets him go. Dragonite is about to leave but stops. He is impressed by how Iris defended him when no one else would, and decides that he would like to travel with Iris who catches him with a Poké Ball.

As we continue to stay, Golly and I capture a Frillish each for our Pokedex and our team. And by training with others, they evolve into Jellicent.

Frillish: The Floating Pokemon: Water and Ghost Type. They paralyze prey with poison, then drag them down to their lairs, five miles below the surface.

Jellicent: The Floating Pokemon: Water and Ghost Type. Evolve from Frillish at LV:40. They propel themselves by expelling absorbed seawater from their bodies. Their favorite food is life energy.

It is time for us to head to Lacunosa Town, where the Junior Cup Tournament is held. On the way, we actually find a Cobalion who is standing in front of us. Cobalion says, "Chosen one. The Darkness is approaching, and we Sword of the Justice are waiting for your arrival."

"I see." I say. Then Cobalion gives me the customized Pokeball, and then he runs off again.

Cobalion: The Iron Will Pokemon: Steel and Fighting Type. This legendary Pokémon battled against humans to protect Pokémon. Its personality is calm and composed.

"So you just caught a Legendary Pokemon just like that?" Iris asks.

"That's Ash for you." Luke says. "But nice to have another one on your team."

The time of the Junior Cup has come, and we find Alder is trying to flirt with Cynthia. When we try to talk to them, we find that Trip is already here first. Trip is going to the tournament because he wants a rematch with Alder.

Not just Trip, Georgia, and Burgundy are also here. Eve groans, "They really are here to annoy us..."

"Yeah." Reisa says. "But Nate and Rosa haven't come."

"Nate and Rosa have been very busy these days, no wonder." Hilbert says.

"But there sure is a lot of pain in the necks here..." Dawn adds.

We find that the winner not only gets a special badge but also gets a chance to battle Alder. We are so pumped up as we also notice Cynthia having an exhibit match with Caitlin.

"It's Caitlin. I remember her." I say.

"Yeah, she was there when you challenged the Battle Castle back in Sinnoh." Dawn says.

"So she's also a Frontier Brain?" Reisa asks.

"No, that's his butler." I say.

Cynthia sends out Garchomp and Caitlin sends out her Gothitelle. The two battle, and when Garchomp's Draco Meteor and Gothitelle's Thunderbolt collide it sets off a fireworks-like display in the arena. Before either Pokémon can gain the upper hand, however, the timer runs out and the exhibition battle is declared to be a draw.

Now it is time for Round 1. Trip is paired up against Burgundy, who only wants to battle her old nemesis Cilan. But Trip's Serperior manages to take down her Darmanitan in a flash, despite the type disadvantage. Burgundy is furious, but Trip is quietly confident that he'll win the whole tournament and go on to prove his strength by beating Alder.

The second round is Hilbert against Reisa, and Hilbert being the League winner two years ago, wins Reisa with ease. I was battling my sister Golly, who has been showing a lot of tricks, but I managed to win in the end with Leavanny."

Alice and Cilan also gets into the second round, while Luke and Eve have a battle and the winner is Eve, who uses Krokorok to win. As for Hilda and Dawn, both of them work really hard, but Dawn is the winner with Piplup defeating Gigi in the battle.

"Alright! Head-to-head demolition!" Georgia says, "With this Dragon Buster coming out on top!"

"Nope, not today, bottom of the barrel for you." Iris says. "Let me show you my newest capture. Dragonite!"

When Dragonite appears, Georgia says, "What do you know? That's even better."

Then Georgia tries to use Beartic, but Iris has Dragonite take the hits instead of dodging.

"Now use Thunder Punch!" Iris commands, and even though it is frozen in ice Dragonite thwarts out with ease and charges at Beartic, using Thunder Punch to knock Beartic out.

"Dragonite, you're really strong. I'm glad that we win." Iris says.

"One hit KO?" Georgia is shocked, but also mad that she lost to Iris so easily.

In the second round, Trip is fighting Hilbert. Trip sends out Serperior while Hilbert sends out Samurott. Hilbert puts up a good fight as she manages to hit Serperior with some other moves, but Trip defeats him with the Bind and Solar Beam.

Eve and I are battling next, and I have to say that Eve's Scrafty is pushing my Gigalith to the edge, but I still with after a Heavy Slam. Alice and Cilan are battling each other using Cinccino and Stunfisk. Cinccino uses Attract to get Stunfisk in love and finishes with Tail Slap. The Skill Link Ability really helps a lot. Dawn and Iris are facing each other using Mamoswine and Druddigon. Druddigon overpowers Dawn's Mamoswine and wins.

Trip is battling Alice in the third round, Trip has a will to not lose the battle, which makes Alice pity him and lose by letting Serperior hit Emboar with a Dragon Tail. Iris and I are battling, Dragonite has Krokorok reeling after a powerful pair of direct hits, but Krokorok is determined to hang on, and then it evolves into Krookodile. This brings the match to a new level of intensity, and when Krookodile hits Dragonite hard with a super effective Dragon Claw. But Krookodile overpowers Dragonite with a Dragon claw battle and makes Dragonite faints.

Krokodile: The Intimidation Pokemon: Ground and Dark Type. Evolve from Krokorok at LV:40. It can expand the focus of its eyes, enabling it to see objects in the far distance as if it were using binoculars.

The final round is Trip and I. I decide to show him how people in Kanto are not boonies by using Charizard. With his intense training back in Charisific Valley, the match is an easy win for me. I manage to defeat him and get the winning title. I say, "Trip, I know you want to fight Alder, I have the same thought, too. Which is why I don't want to lose, too."

Trip nods and bids him good luck on fighting Alder and before that, I manage to receive the Enchantment Badge. And now I'm facing against Alder on the field, Alder says, "So Ashton, we meet again."

"It is Ash. But I am honored to have a battle with you." I say.

"Very well. Now show me your strength, Volcarona!" Alder sends out his Pokemon. I mutter, "A Volcarona...Charizard, I choose you!" I decide to go with Charizard to battle.

"I wonder how Charizard will beat it..." Iris says.

"He can win, I remember that Charizard had a 6-0 win once." Alice says.

"Wow, it really happened? Dawn asks.

"Yes. And I bet Charla is eager to watch it, too." Reisa says to Alice, she nods and opens the Pokeball, sending out Charla to watch.

After the show off of Fire Attacks, both Pokemon are weakened as Alder laughs, "You are very good, Ash."

"You too. But it is time to wrap this up, use Seismic Toss!" I say, much to Alder's shock and horror. Volcarona is grabbed by Charizard, then they spin and spin, Charizard throws him back to the ground, knocking it out.

"Charizard wins!" Alice cheers with Charla.

"Wow, that is exciting." Dawn says.

"Although it is expected considering that he did use Gigi and the Zoroark to beat him two years ago." Hilbert says.

"I can sense a spicy flavor coming from Charizard. It is hot but great."

Alder and I both shake hands and promise to battle again, and then the Junior Cup also ends.

Outside, Georgia tells Iris that she is going to train harder to defeat Dragonite. Burgundy tells Cilan that she was glad to see that they both lost, and that she would not miss a chance to see Cilan lose.

Lillie and Ash spot Trip, so Ash rushes forward.

"Congratulations on your win, Ash." Trip says. "I will be defeating you in the Unova League."

"Sure. I will face your challenge." I say as Trip leaves.

Suddenly, a boy and a Riolu rush to the scene, the boy introducing himself as Cameron.

"Thank god I finally arrive." Cameron says. "So the Junior Cup starts the next day?"

Hilda says, "It is already over." And we decide to show him our entry prizes.

He becomes disappointed, lamenting that this sort of thing happens to him quite often. He realizes that Alder must still be around and rushes to go find him and get his autograph.

"Wow, what a weird guy." Alice says.

"Yeah." Luke adds. "So what are you going to do next?"

"We're going to Opelucid City for my seventh gym badge." I say, and Reisa says, "Opelucid City... didn't Lance say that Dandon and Lucine are actually at the Opelucid Academy? Maybe we can try to find them."

"You're right. It sure has been a while since we last saw them." Eve says.

"Who are Drandon and Lucine?" Cilan asks.

"They are our childhood friends who also want to become Dragon Masters like their parents." I say.

"Really, I will like to meet them as well." Iris says.

Here is a new chapter, and we're done with the Junior Cup. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will be back into the plot of Team Plasma.
