When we are now at Route 23, we decide to do some Pokemon capturing and training. The first two Pokemon that we capture are Throh and Sawk. Both of them seem to be buddies of combating and we decide to capture them.

Throh: The Judo Pokemon: Fighting Type. When they encounter foes bigger than themselves, they try to throw them. They always travel in packs of five.

Sawk: The Karate Pokemon: Fighting Type. Tying their belts gets them pumped and makes their punches more destructive. Disturbing their training angers them.

Then we are ambushed by a group of Bouffalants, after finding Nurse Joy, we learn that Bouffalants will attack those who aren't wearing an afro. So we all decide to wear them, and on the way, we find an injured Bouffalant. On our way to find some medicine, we lost our afros. It is thanks to the Bouffalant that we helped that they aren't attacking us. And the Bouffalant wants to join our team.

Bouffalant: The Bash Bouffalo Pokemon: Normal Type. They charge wildly and headbutt everything. Their headbutts have enough destructive force to derail a train.

And then we find a Rufflet and Vullaby fighting each other. Since we were training Scrafty nearby, Cilan deduces that Rufflet had been inadvertently struck in the head by a shard of rock from Scraggy's Focus Blast and has accused Vullaby of doing it instead. Rufflet furiously attacks her. Angered, Vullaby attacks Rufflet as well with her Pluck move.

We try to stop them, but Vullaby sees us and attacks us, while Rufflet is crying as Alice is comforting it. Vullaby then notices Alice treating Rufflet and she begins to attack Rufflet again, so I decide to play with Vullaby.

"I guess both Pokemon really like attentions, and they are also jealous with each other..." Golly says.

"I agree." Alice says as she tries to hug Vullaby, and now Rufflet is not happy, but fortunately, I manage to calm Rufflet down.

It is thanks to some Mandibuzz chase that we manage to get the two back together again. In the end, we also capture the two Pokemon since they want to be with us.

Rufflet: The Eaglet Pokemon: Normal and Flying Type. They will challenge anything, even strong opponents, without fear. Their frequent fights help them become stronger.

Vullaby: The Diapered Pokemon: Dark and Flying Type. Its wings are too tiny to allow it to fly. As the time approaches for it to evolve, it discards the bones it was wearing.

And by training the two Pokemon, they evolve into their final forms.

Braviary: The Valiant Pokemon: Normal and Flying Type. Evolve from Rufflet at LV:54. They fight for their friends without any thought about danger to themselves. One can carry a car while flying.

Mandibuzz: The Bone Vulture Pokemon: Dark and Flying Type. Evolve from Vullaby at LV:54. Watching from the sky, they swoop to strike weakened Pokémon on the ground. They decorate themselves with bones.

Then we encounter a rockslide in their path. We try to climb over it, and it gives way under their feet. But a young man with an Eevee comes to the rescue, and his Espeon uses Psychic to float us out of danger.

Their rescuer's name is Virgil, and he, along with his older brother, Davy, and their father, Jeff, are part of the Pokémon Rescue Squad, dedicated to helping others in need. The squad consists of several teams, and Virgil's team is called Team Eevee because it includes Eevee and all eight of its evolutions. Soon, the squad receives a distress call from a nearby dam. Davy flies there to investigate and discovers that the entire lake and the dam's control room have been frozen, knocking out the power and trapping a worker in the elevator. He evacuates the other workers, but a wild Cryogonal's attack traps him inside the control room with the door frozen shut!

That means it's Virgil's turn to launch a rescue. We decide to help because rescuing people with the help of Pokémon sounds like a great thing. Virgil's task is to recharge the emergency batteries to get the power back up and running. Reisa, Eve, Iris, and Cilan distract the five angry Cryogonal who are responsible for the crisis, and Alice, Golly, Virgil, and I find the batteries and recharge them with the help of Jolteon, Zoroark, Absol, and Pikachu.

Once power is restored, Davy goes to investigate the strange noises coming from the control room's basement. There he finds the cause of the incident: a smaller Cryogonal trapped behind some pipes! He frees it with his Darmanitan's help and then discovers that Virgil's Eevee has made a tunnel to rescue him using Dig. Once we are reunited, the little Cryogonal returns to its friends, who happily float away. The dam is thawed, the workers are safe, and thanks to Eevee's heroic actions, he's promoted to a full member of Team Eevee!

Before saying goodbye, Virgil reveals that he and Eevee won all eight Unova Gym badges on their journey together, and they're planning to enter the Unova League too.

Now we're in the Victory Road, and I find Mom there. I hug her and say, "Mom, what are you doing here?"

"I'm here to congratulate you. I heard everything about Team Plasma and you did a good job." My Mom says. "Your Dad will be very proud of you."

I smile, "Pokémon battles do nothing more than hurt Pokémon... That's how I understood it as N, and that's why my N self hated battles. But it's not that simple. Pokémon battles decide winners and losers, it's true. Yet they do so much more. Our Pokémon! Us! Our opponents! And their Pokémon! Everyone can see what wonderful things the others have to contribute! That's right! Accepting different ideas different beings-changes the world like a chemical reaction! Pokémon battles are like a catalyst: a small component that leads to big changes! My friends Zekrom and Reshiram taught me that... And it's the formula I've derived from traveling the world."

"That sure is good to know." My mom says. "Although I think you don't need this, so Golly, you should take this instead."

Golly receives the HM for Waterfall, and our Mom also wants to see how far we can go with the Unova League. After we bid farewell, we continue moving to Victory Road.

After we do some badge checking, which I show all 8 badges on the scanner. The gate opens and we can finally enter the Victory Road. When we enter the cave, Golly and I find a Golett and we capture them. Then we decide to train them so that they evolve into Golurk.

Golett: The Automaton Pokemon: Ground and Ghost Type. These Pokémon are thought to have been created by the science of an ancient and mysterious civilization.

Golurk: The Automaton Pokemon: Ground and Ghost Type. Evolve from Golett at LV:43. It flies across the sky at Mach speeds. Removing the seal on its chest makes its internal energy go out of control.

Then we meet up with Drandon, Lucine, and Pauline. Pauline tells us how Clair, the Blackthorn City Gym Leader, has arrived to captured a shiny Druddigon, Iris is sad because she wants to meet Clair but isn't able to.

"So how is Opelucid City now?" I ask.

"The ice has melt. I assume you've already caught Kyurem?" Lucine asks.

"Yeah. It wasn't easy though." Alice says.

Then Pauline wants to give us Deino, since there are a lot of them back in the Village of Dragons and they have been trying to give away. Golly, Eve, and I decide to get one each.

Deino: The Irate Pokemon: Dark and Dragon Type. They cannot see, so they tackle and bite to learn about their surroundings. Their bodies are covered in wounds.

With their help, we manage to find a Druddigon so that we can capture it. And it is thanks to the battle that our Deino evolve into Zweilous.

Druddigon: The Cave Pokemon: Dragon Type. It warms its body by absorbing sunlight with its wings. When its body temperature falls, it can no longer move.

Zweilous: The Hostile Pokemon: Dark and Dragon Type. Evolve from Deino at LV:50. Since their two heads do not get along and compete with each other for food, they always eat too much.

"It's Vertress City! We're finally here!" Iris says.

"Man, I can't wait to win the Unova League. It will be so cool!" I say.

When we arrive at the stadiums, Eve says, "We've really come a long way. But it was worth it no doubt."

"And there are so many adventures." Golly says. "Just look at all the trainers here."

"Out of my way!" Just then, as usual, I crash into a fountain because of Bianca. "I'm sorry!"

Alice says, "Bianca! That means you won eight badges, too!"

"Uh-huh! Just in the nick of time. It looked like I wouldn't have enough badges because of the work with Professor Juniper, but I worked really hard."

"That's very impressive." Cilan says.

"Entering the league is one of my goals, but I also want to see you guys too." Bianca says. "How have you been?"

"Hard to say after you slammed into me like that." I sigh.

"Hey! Ash and Bianca!" We notice that Stephan is also here. I say, "Stephan, nice to see you."

"Still saying it wrong- Wait, say my name once more!" Stephan gasps. It seems that he is happy that my pronunciation is right.

"But isn't that what we've saying all along?" Golly asks.

"This is the first time! You're right now. Anyway, so you have been doing a lot of training?" Stephan asks.

"'Course I have." I say.

"Somebody's confident." Bianca laughs.

"Hey guys! You're here!" We also notice Nate and Rosa. "You two are here as well!" I say.

"Yeah, we heard from Hilbert and Hilda about what happened at Giant Chasm. It's great to know that Team Plasma is disbanded." Rosa says.

"And Kyurem is also safe." I say.

We also meet up with Hugh, who has brought his sister here. Hugh's sister thanks us for helping her take back Liepard, she also says that it is a gift Hugh gave her.

Then, we see a helicopter flying overhead. We rush towards it and greet the one who just jump down the helicopter.

"It's Virgil from the Pokemon Rescue squad!" I say. "Hey! Virgil!"

"That's impressive aerial entrance." Cilan says.

"That's so cool." Alice sasy.

"Come on, we're just dropping off an injured Pokemon at the Pokemon Center."

After we introduce another, we also notice Trip, though Bianca, Stephan, Hugh, Nate, and Rosa are confused to see him change. After we register our entry, we all get to the hotel to rest, however, we stop to see a tent that belongs to Cameron and Riolu.

"It's Cameron." I say.

"Hey, what took you so long? I've been camping out here for three days already!" Cameron says.

"That's because you can't afford to be late for the Unova League." I say.

Then we ask why he has to camp out since we can just get a hotel room after registration, and it turns out that he forgot to do such a thing and the registration period is about to close. Fortunately that we drag him there so that he manage to get the final entry.

"You know, I'm not surprised you showed up to compete but you didn't register." I say to Cameron. "Cameron's strong, but it's just sometimes he spaces out."

Then after everyone get to know each other, we decide to take a rest in the hotel and do some things to relax.

Here is a new chapter, and the next chapter will be the beginning of the Unova League. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will be the first round of the Unova League.
