"Wait you two." Pearl said stopping the two who were a few steps from the warp pad walking up to Sunny looking her deep in the eyes as she began retelling the history of the Ancient Sky Arena "Long ago when we first came to Earth, we created a lot of structures and buildings some even standing to this day, well when the nobles landed on Earth they built the Arena as a means of entertainment for themselves we being part of army took much satisfaction in dueling in the Arena seeing as it kept us in peak condition as we waited for our next battle, Rose in this time was becoming weary of the Diamond's rule and sought to stop all gem drilling operations after the death of a friendly human colony by a new disease caused by the gem drills, Rose challenged Pink Diamond to a duel for Earth were she was stricken down by Rose, the Diamond Authority was supposed to uphold the duel, but the Diamond's unable to accept the death of a Diamond by a mere Quartz soldier sent a army to destroy us, we repelled the first attack with heavy casualties and was forced into hit and run strategies by Diamond, but after the first month he turned it around on us and with his army nearly destroyed us, yet a couple months later we lead a great attack that hurt his army greatly the losses were so extremely he was ordered to retreat and that's how we won the war." Pearl said reminiscing on the war with a sad stare Sunny merely stared amazed at story of the war, yet she wasn't the only one Steven was flabbergasted he always wanted to ask about the war, but feared what would happen if he asked Pearl knowing how emotionally vulnerable she was as of late "Now...one question before you leave are you afraid of heights?" Pearl said trying to change the conversation before Sunny could nod her head Pearl began once more "Ugh...even if so you two just keep her away from the edge of the Arena, okay?" Pearl asked looking at her two escorts they each nodded before dragging a scared Sunny away onto the warp pad "Bye!" Pearl said waving at the two with a big smile spread across her face as they warped away to the Ancient Sky Arena.
