Since you're a former diamond (I think) do you ever consider... eating or drinking, and do you ever do anything human's do like working, sleeping and those stuff?

Diamond said sitting alone on the couch flashing a friendly smile "Since you're a former Diamond (I think)" Diamond said outloud sighing loudly at the association with the Diamond's stopping there, yet he pushed on "Do you ever consider...eating or drinking, and do you ever do anything human's do like working, sleeping and those stuff?" Diamond repeated the question out loud "We Gems actually eat and drink all the time especially in the military, food and drink can give us energy that we cannot get without sleep and in turn can subvert the actual need to sleep making it in the best interest of the Diamond's to supply their Army's with food as to keep them on their feet as long as possible, I myself am a talented chef and have learned much in my time in the Diamond Authority even to the point of cooking with local fauna from a large variety of planets, that's why I cook for Steven and his friends every now and then." Diamond said explaining gem lifestyle "On the topic of working I'm a military man it isn't as if my rank makes me lazy, heck even the Diamond's themselves exercise to keep themselves fit." Diamond said in a matter of fact tone "Also why would it be so outlandish for us Gems to live so much like you, like I said before we may have inspired much of your daily life and culture in our short time on this planet, now that's not to say you haven't made your own identity, it's just we all are slaves to emotion." Diamond said trying to emphasize with humanity using emotion as a bridge between us "Well I hope that answers your questions, goodbye." Diamond said waving, a smile plastered across his face.
