*EDITED
Decided to publish it, happy game day!

The school week had gone by fast and uneventful, although Coleena still had worries about what Isabella Swan would bring exactly she was trying to ignore it. Arriving at the school she had took her helmet off and pulled her hair into a pony tail. Ever since Jasper had walked her to class Angela and Jessica had distanced themselves, as Coleena was labeled someone 'special' since the Cullens took a liking to her.

Rosalie walked over to see the tank top and zip up hoodie with jeans she had chosen to wear, her heeled boots only adding a little bit to her height. "How do you even drive that with heels on?" She asked and Coleena smirked as she linked their arms.

"My dear Rose." She started making Rosalie roll her eyes. "I am a woman of mystery, and to keep my charm it's vital I keep some things secret." Rosalie scoffed as they made it to Jasper and Luke. Today Coleena had first period with all three of them.

"Rosalie pressing you again?" Luke asked as Jasper rolled his eyes.

"You act like we didn't hear that whole conversation." He mocked his brother which made Coleena laugh lightly. She liked being able to see this side of them, the normal part to them. Although there wasn't anything normal about them. There wasn't anything normal about her either.

Jasper and Luke shoved each other each battling for the proof of them being stronger. However as they reached the doors to the school they bumped into something shimmering like water, the pale blue color making them look back at Coleena who smirked.

"Now boys." She paused as they stared at her shocked at the blatant use of her magic in public. "Play nice." She spoke before her and Rosalie continued forward through the doors, leaving the two Hale's with their mouths wide open.

"Well you've got them stunned now." Rosalie commented a small smirk on her face as it was usually her who stopped them. "What was that by the way?" Rosalie and Coleena took no notice of the two boys following after them, or the fact that they were listening to the conversation.

"It's something new! My moms have me working on changing out my shield from the reinforced glass to something...." She trailed off looking for the word before Jasper supplied it.

"More flexible." Coleena nodded her head quickly as the entered the classroom.

"Yes!" Everyone looked over at them before they looked away. Coleena followed them all to Rosalie and Luke's seat before Jasper sat behind them. No one had sat with Jasper but he was better at controlling himself than Luke had been. Coleena was placed two rows behind them. "This is more water like but more...durable?" She paused as she tapped the middle of her forehead with her pointer finger. "Yeah, durable. Sustainable."

"You know words like sustainable, and durable, but couldn't figure out flexible?" Luke mocked her leaning back in his seat as Coleena looked at Rose who smacked him in the gut lightly. "What the hell Leena!" He looked at Coleena who smirked.

"Just cuz I can't touch you, doesn't mean I can't effect you." She mocked back hands on her hips before she walked to her seat before the bell rang. That had been one of Jasper's wishes, not to touch Lukas for the fact that they were turned at the same time and if Coleena wished to have everything secret about Jasper's past then she shouldn't touch him.

She had learned about how Alice, Jasper and Luke were a coven of their own until they found Carlisle and Esme. She didn't know anything more than that. Other than basic things like his favorite color and what animal he preferred. Yet they could read each other like Alice and Luke could read each other. Even without their abilities.

As the class progressed Coleena yawned, she hadn't been sleeping very well the past few days. Her mind in a constant battle about if she should give into the soulmate bond and just be with Jasper. Even with the constant reminder of her father, her heart yearned and yearned for him. That lingering fear choking her slightly.

Jasper glanced back at Coleena a silent question swimming in his eyes before she smiled and nodded slightly. He didn't need that weighing on him. This was her problem. Fifteen minutes before class was let out she had bumped arms with the kid sitting next to her.

She sucked in a sharp breath quietly, as her eyes unfocused in front of her. She saw it all. There was nothing more Coleena hated more than seeing the lives that were like this. The abuse ranging from physical to mental to..sexual. All of it, it was too much.

Jasper had turned in his seat to look at her as soon as he felt the shift in her emotions. From calm and bored to scared and sad. Coleena had stood right as he got a look at her face. She rushed out of the classroom leaving her bag as she made her escape looking hysterical.

"Miss Caster!" The teacher called before she looked off in worry. Coleena had made such a hasty exit that everyone in the class had seen it. Rosalie was standing next, before she walked to the teachers desk.

"May I go check on her?" Rosalie asked their teacher, she was curt but polite something all of the Cullens had due to being as old as they were. Rosalie was nervous and worried for Coleena as was Jasper. Luke looked back to Jasper with the silent question ringing in his eyes however, Jasper didn't have an answer other than to explain what her feelings were like.

                        ————————

Coleena leaned against the sink in the bathroom she was breathing heavily as she felt light headed. She hated this. She wished she was normal. She felt everything that poor kid felt. She saw it. She experienced it herself. All of it. She shut her eyes tightly as tears filled her eyes blurring her vision.

She hadn't even noticed the blue mist surrounding the bathroom, or the shield of water circled around her in its own form of protection. She couldn't even breathe. She only noticed when her heart jumped and she heard glass shatter.

The bathroom mirrors now lay shattered as her water fell entirely, making her soaking wet and the floor around her wet. It was just then the bathroom door opened and in walked Rosalie.

"Leena, what happened?" Coleena sobbed as Rosalie rushed right for her enveloping her into a hug as she cried out onto the floor, Rosalie dropped to her knees with Coleena. Neither of them knew how long they were sat on the floor before the bell rang and both girls moved slightly.

"I have to." She started quietly before she wrapped her arms around herself. "I need to go home." Rosalie furrowed her brows as she nodded slightly.

"I can take you." She started softly as her golden eyes met Coleena's puffy blue ones.

"Are you sure-"

"Jasper can bring your bike home after school, I'll skip this period and be back for the next one." Rosalie assured and Coleena took a deep breath before she nodded. However as Rosalie went to leave the bathroom Coleena grabbed her shirt.

"Why can't I be normal? Why do other people get to have it easy and I don't? Rosalie....can we wait until everyone's in class to leave? I don't want to bump into people. I just-I can't." Rosalie gave a small smile as she nodded.

"Whatever you need."

As Coleena opened the door to her house she was met with both of her moms sitting on the couch. Both women surprised at her appearance but worried about her due to appearance. "Baby?" Davina asked as she stood up.

"It was awful mom!" She cried as Davina and Ashley rushed over to wrap her into a hug.

"What was? What's going on honey?" Davina asked her daughter but as Coleena stuttered she looked towards Ashley who grabbed Coleena's arm. The memory of all of it playing through her mind before her face went from worried to understanding.

While witches can see key moments leading up to what made you who you were, they only got it at first touch. Unless the person you're touching is thinking about something else, only once you've already touched them can they hide things from you. It was the people who had a terrible past that made Ashley and Coleena wish they were born normal.

"I know." She stated before she sat her down. "But sweetie, it does get easier. Better." Ashley tried to supply

Coleena shook her head tears rolling down her face as she balled up her fists. "You're wrong. You've been saying that but it doesn't get better." She cried as Davina looked nervous as to what she should do.

"How about some tea?" She asked rhetorically as the clanking of dishes and running water could be heard. Davina smiled as she pet her daughters black hair. The best parts of her. "How about some gardening? Salem is finally here." A black cat with white paws and a white chest was surrounded with a green glow as he was placed on Coleena's lap.

Salem had been Coleena's cat since she was fourteen, during the move he had to be housed elsewhere for a small amount of time. She pet his soft silky fur as she nodded, her eyes rimmed red. Ashley and Davina had been working on turning the shed into their own form of green house.

After all Coleena and Davina were amazing at growing plants, making them flourish. It was their magic type after all. Salem followed Coleena right out of the house into the backyard and to the shed. Davina and Ashley shared a look before Davina had to leave for work and Ashley started a deep clean of the house.

All the Caster women had a way to calm down, destress, work out their feelings. All separate ways.

Ashley scrubbed the house top to bottom, barely any magic involved. Music bouncing around the house.

Davina liked to work it off, get out of the house get fresh air, be buried in paperwork. It cleared out all of the stuff she had going on at home.

Coleena just liked to relax, in the sun, surrounded by plants, Salem close to her. The roof was entirely glass the walls and door closed off so no one could see as Coleena used her magic to grow the flowers and plants.

Blue mist lay sprinkled on the leaves of the plants and flowers as she lay on the grass that covered the bottom of the shed. Salem had been rolling in the grass by one of the rose bushes and that's how they had stayed until the sun started going down. Locked away from the world, getting calm safely.

Jasper stood outside the Caster household, debating if he should knock or just go back home. He had brought back the motorcycle but was unsure if he should let them know or if Coleena would want her space. However he was worried, she didn't sound good before she left school. She didn't look good in class and her emotions were even worse.

As he finally knocked a woman with black hair and brown eyes opened the door, her blood didn't appeal to him in the slightest but her scent was nice. She stood a smirk on her face as she crossed her arms. "Was wondering when you would knock." Jasper shifted slightly as he bowed his head slightly.

"My apologies. Is Coleena home by chance?" He hadn't been close enough to feel her feelings so he was a bit timid. The woman laughed before she leaned against the door jam.

"That depends on who you are." She stated and Jasper could feel his own embarrassment as well as the amusement rolling off the women in front of him.

"Right, yes. I'm Jasper Hale ma'am." He paused slightly before he swallowed a lump to speak again. "Technically I'm Jasper Cullen. I'm a vampire of the Olympic Coven, we're vegetarian." He supplied and he could feel the satisfaction radiating off her.

"I'm Ashley Caster, Leena's mom. One of them."

"Of course, it's wonderful to have a face to the name." Jasper held his hand out however he paused noticing Ashley didn't grab his hand. At his confusion she laughed lightly.

"Guess our little Leena doesn't talk much. I'm like her, if you don't want me to know all your secrets we shouldn't touch." Jasper gave her a small smile as she finally stepped by the front door. "She's not inside the house, right through that back door. The shed." She supplied as Jasper nodded.

"Thank you."

"No problem." Jasper sensed the approval that Ashley was feeling and that within itself had been a mood booster. However as he reached the shed and felt the serene calmness coming from Coleena he felt a weight lift off his chest, despite the lingering sadness.

As he opened the door he was greeted with Coleena laying in the middle, a black cat laying curled up on her chest. The plants looked as though they were thriving better than anything Esme and Alice could ever take care of. Small speckles of blue mist lay on the petals of the flowers and the leaves of the plants. He loved it, seeing the view of Coleena laying surrounded by the garden.

She hadn't yet noticed him, and he was slightly grateful as he got to see her hair all spread out around her. The orange from the setting sun kissing her tan skin. He would never forget it. He cleared his throat and the cat looked up before Coleena opened her eyes. Her blue eyes seemed to shine before she met eyes with him.

She shot up scaring the cat as he jumped off and moved between the plants. Coleena stood up brushing off her jeans as Jasper smiled softly at her. "Jasper, what are you doing here?" She asked walking over and he felt himself grow with nervousness. Coleena wasn't nervous, just confused she was content with him being beside her.

"Come with me. I wanna show you something." He stated before curtly turning around to exit the shed. "Oh, will you be able to get up somewhere high. Without having to be picked up?" He asked and she laughed lightly. He loved her laugh.

"Can I get up somewhere high? Of course I can!" She mused as she followed him out of the shed. "What do you take me for? A human?" Jasper cracked a smile as she followed him into the woods.

"Certainly not ma'am." He felt her heartbeat increase and her butterflies before he continued on the path.

As they reached the big tree Jasper had been looking for he suggested for Coleena to go first, he watched as she rolled her eyes before a glowing blue water circle appeared. "How high up?" She asked turning back to look at him, Jasper gave her a controlled look before he pointed upwards.

"As high as the thickest branch." Coleena nodded and he watched as the water circle turned into a bunch that wound around the tree up to the top. He watched as she gracefully and swiftly made it from circle to circle, her hair bouncing all around seeing as she had left it down.

Coleena Caster looked absolutely ethereal. She was amazing. Jasper watched as she stopped at the top of a branch before he jumped up to the branch, using the tree next to him as support as he made his way up. It was fast and if Coleena had been a normal person, she wouldn't have been able to keep up with it.

"What are we doing here?" She asked as Jasper sat down on the branch. She followed suit as Jasper looked over at her, a soft look in his eyes.

"The sun sets nicely here, then once you turn, you get to see the moon rise." He paused as he looked at Coleena's reaction. "It's like-"

"Getting to see something sleep, and rise all at the same time." She spoke taking the words right out of his mind and into the world only they were spoken by her and not him.

"Exactly." He rested his hands on his thighs as he sat straight, Coleena sat next to him her hands laid behind her on the branch. "This is where I come when it gets too much." She looked over at him meeting his gold eyes as she listened to him intently.

Getting the hint that he wouldn't go on she nodded slightly. "Like what?" She found herself asking and Jasper smiled lightly.

"Everything. My siblings, all of the emotions, my thirst." Coleena nodded showing she understood what he meant as she sighed out. It was silent for a moment and Jasper swallowed the lump in his throat before he began. "What happened today? In class." He specified. He watched as Coleena shifted uncomfortably as she sighed.

"When I see someone's moments. I don't just see it, it's like." She paused as Jasper watched her waiting patiently. "It's like I'm experiencing it from an outside view while feeling everything they're feeling." Jasper nodded trying to show he understood before she started again. "I told you I-"

"Can only see the moments leading up to who they are." He finished for her making her smile slightly.

"Yes. Sometimes when they're so...violent. I get overwhelmed and my magic lashes out and I just-" she stopped herself getting overwhelmed again.

"I understand." Jasper tried wishing for nothing more to be able to reach out and touch her.

Coleena's feelings shifted to anger as she stood up swiftly. "You don't-" however she was cut short as she slipped right off the branch.

"Coleena!" Jasper called for her getting ready to grab her before she stopped him.

"Don't touch me!" She yelled out as she felt the wind whip her hair around wildly. Jasper watched as her right hand glew a bright pale blue before she moved it in a swift motion, revealing the water shield from earlier in the day.

He watched as she hit it, falling down through the small hole that had opened. He felt his breath relax as it stopped expanding before it got caught in his throat as he watched the shield pop. water falling all around Coleena as she plummeted to the ground once again.

His whole body had never felt colder watching her plummet to the ground.

-3,121 words! Thank you for reading!🩷
I feel as though that's a little short compared to the other chapters I've made, however I would think that that's something we'll have to get used too as I'm unsure of how to write in my character into twilight since she'll already know that they are vampires. I'm aiming for the next chapter to be shorter seeing as it will be the last chapter before twilight. Thank you.🩶
