It was just 3 hours before dawn when John, Will, and Mindy made it back to Mindy's house. After they triple checked Mindy's blood stream, the two Colossalians agreed to take her back home, not wanting her to stay any longer than she already did.

Mindy's house wasn't just a house. It was a mansion. There laid the pool, a basketball court, a tennis court, 2 driveways, and a shed. "You can drop me off here." Mindy said as Will gently placed her on the ground. When he did, Mindy started to wobble and a bit, making John keep her steady with his finger until she wasn't dizzy anymore. "You okay?"

"Y-Yeah I'm fine. The journey was just a bit...rough." Mindy managed to stay, wrapping one of her arms around her stomach. When it was time for Mindy to go, the Colossalians offered to give her a ride, saying that'll save gas money for her car. Mindy didn't object, knowing that they would be gentle with her and they've been good to her so far. However, as the Colossalians continued to walk, she started to feel pain in her stomach. It wasn't something major, but it still hurt a bit. Maybe it was because of the fact that she was going sober for a while.

Mindy groaned a bit, but was able to steady herself without assistance. "Thanks for bringing me back." she smiled as John and Will's expression only hardened. "What's wrong?" Mindy asked as John sighed. "Nothing it's just...while you were asleep, me and Will could hear you talking and well..." Mindy gasped, realizing what he meant.

When she was little, her father would abuse her, forcing her to be like him in every way possible. He would remind her everyday that he wished he had a boy instead of a girl. A boy would carry on his legacy. A boy is strong. A boy is not weak. And Mindy was. When George fell into the picture, it got worse. Mindy thought that George was the one for her. That he'd be the one to sweep her off her feet from this terrible nightmare of a father. She poured her entire soul out to him. Until she found him sleeping with another girl 2 days laters. Mindy begged her father to choose another man, but he refused, saying that he was the only one who would ever had her. This type of trauma gave her so many nightmares, that she would talk or scream in her sleep. It took two maids to calm her down, saving her from the wrath of her father.

It was one of the things that Mindy never wanted to talk about. But John and Will must've heard her talking in her sleep. She wanted to ask how much they knew. But she also didn't wanna bring it up in the process. "Oh, uh, yeah sorry about that. It was...a bad dream is all."

"Sounded like a nightmare." Will replied as John nudged him. The three of them stared at each other in silence for a while until Mindy cleared her throat. "Well, uh...I better get going."

"Wait." Mindy took half a step before she found John pulling something out of his space uniform.  Mindy couldn't tell what it was, but she knew it must've been small because John was pinching his fingers and trying really hard not to break it. When John showed it to Mindy, she got a clear view of the object. It was a small out-dated flip phone with a 'C' on it. Mindy held it in both hands, feeling the small gift that was given to her. "Um, thanks guys, but I already have my own phone. Plus, we don't have flip phones anymore." Mindy chuckled watching John blush at the last comment. "Dammit, I knew I got the timeline wrong."

"It's not a phone." Will said. "It's a communicator. When you turn it on, you can only call one of us. And unlike your flip phones, we can actually track you with it." Mindy placed her hand on her hip and smirked. "Well, we can track people with phones too." she replied as the boys smirked back, playing in their new human friend's game. "Oh yeah? Can you track...this!" Immediately, John scooped her up from behind, making the poor girl squeal in surprise. Mindy giggled freely as John tossed her in the air for good measure. "Guys. Cut it out!" she tried to sound demanding, but her smile gave away all her playfulness. John stuck his tongue out and grabbed one her legs, dangling her upside down. "Aw come on Mindy. Why don't you turn that frown upside down huh?"

"Put me down." Mindy giggled as Will chuckled and gently wiggled his pinky finger on her belly. Mindy laughed, trying her best to wiggle her body away to dodge his finger. "YOU GUYS SUCK!" The Colossalians laughed at her comment just as they heard a voice coming from the mansion. "Millicent? Is that you?" The three of them froze, neither of them daring to make a sound. John quickly turn Mindy right side up placing her back on her feet again. "That's our cue kid. We gotta go."

"Wait." Now, it was the Colossalians' turns to look back. "Will I ever see you again?" Mindy ask softly as the Colossalians gave her a small smile. "It's a small galaxy, Mindy. And don't worry, as long as you have that communicator with you, we're only a call away." Will said, using his index finger to ruffle her hair. Mindy giggled. "Okay okay stop it."

"Millicent!" The voice called again making Mindy gasp and cover her mouth. The Colossalians gave one final glance at their human companion before making their way back to the ship as silently as possible.
