This is the reaction of Season 4 Part 3, the timeline of this is set before the 57th expedition, and just think that they have already seen the previous episodes.

After a long break from what they've seen during Season 4 Part 2, Eren is still sitting in the back row with Mikasa by his side. The others don't know what to think about Eren, they are conflicted from the last episode since they finally know what Eren's goal is by activating the Rumbling.

The host of the room, Ray Yeager, who revealed herself as the daughter of both Eren and Mikasa right after Episode 14 of Season 4, appears in front of them and says, "Hello everyone. As you can see, the story is about to end, and we have an hour special for you guys. Before we begin, do you have any questions?"

Armin raises his hand and says, "Hey, Ray... is this episode going to be worse than the previous ones?"

"What do you think?" Ray asks. "I can give you a small spoiler. One of you is going to die in this episode."

"Most of us are already dead... that means, it is going to be one of the Alliance..." Erwin frowns, and Eren just lowers his head again.

"Eren... I know you're doing this for all of us, but now we know the problem, we can change it." Mikasa says.

"But still..." Eren mutters.

"Alright, so without further ado, let's begin the episode." Ray says as she turns on the TV.

A nine-year-old Mikasa approached the sleeping Eren, she said in a soothing voice, "I'll see you later, Eren." She put her hands under Eren's chin. After a while, Eren woke up and muttered, "Huh? Mikasa..."

"Let's head back." Mikasa said.

"Wait, isn't this the first episode? Why are we back into this again?" Jean asks.

"That sure was weird..." Connie adds. "Does that mean Eren could see the future even then?"

"How is that even possible? He doesn't have the Titan at that time." Armin says.

"What am I doing here?"

"You're so out of it. Were you sound asleep?"

"No..." Eren replied. "It's just... I feel like I had a really long dream. What was it about? I can't remember."

Mikasa went to grab her firewood, then looked at him in surprise. "Eren, why are you crying?"

"Huh?" Eren touched his face in confusion. The wind blew and the scene blacked out, revealing the title: The Rumbling.

Everyone has mixed feelings about the title, they can only hope that things aren't going to turn worse.

"Listen, Halil. Me and you are the only ones who knew where this is." A boy with the top red hat said to the other boy. "I'm gonna stash money here until this sack is full. Then we'll have enough for everyone to be able to live someplace nice."

"Hey! Isn't that the same boy who stole Captain Levi's wallet?" Eld asks.

Levi groans a little as he wants to forget about the money stolen thing.

"But Ramzi, if you keep this up... someday you'll lose your left hand, too." The other boy said to Ramzi, and the scene revealed that he lost his right hand that was tied with bandages.

"His hand!" Sasha yells and everyone gasps in horror. Annie sighs, "That's what you get for stealing in Marley, it's common."

"But that's cruel..." Historia frowns.

"But someone has to do this." Ramzi said, "With all of us stuck in those shabby tents, it's so hard to survive in the winter. People will keep dying every year. So Halil, if I die, please give this money to everyone for me."

"He sure has the guts to say that." Connie says.

"Ramzi..." Halil muttered, but then, they noticed a lot of people running, and they quickly hid their treasure. Ramzi asked, "What's going on? The townspeople are... fleeing?"

An elderly woman fell to the ground, with another man helping her up. Ramzi muttered, "Why?" His only hand was on the ground, and he felt a tremble, and suddenly, birds were gathered in flocks and flew away.

They turned around, and they noticed that far away from the town, the horde of Colossal Titans was marching toward them.

"The Rumbling... is it going to crush them as well?" Lynn asked.

"Please don't... Although they stole Captain Levi's wallet..." Gunther added.

The scene changed back to the time when the scouts were at Marley. Eren was walking on the streets. Later, though I'm not sure exactly how far in the future, I massacre these people.

Eren looked at the people sitting at the tables, and then at the statue of Helios, he continued to think, Before too long, they'll all die. No, I kill them. It's already determined that I do.

"Nothing has been determined just yet. We can change it." Armin says to Eren, who can only nod.

"Indeed. We'll find a way to change this future. Stop blaming yourself, Eren." Erwin says.

"Commander..." Eren mutters.

I imagine we never found a way for Paradis Island to survive. Everything here will be gone. The homes, the people, the animals, people's lives, their dreams... Eren stopped walking and looked at a couple, and he remembered his mother, carrying him as a baby.

What would Mom think? Shouldn't we Eldians be the ones to die? Eren also remembered what Frieda Reiss said while being bound to the vow of renouncing war. In the same way, the King of the walls chose a path that led to death? At the very least, the death toll on the island would be but a fraction of that of the rest of the world. It's also true that if Eldians completely die out, the Titan problem goes away.

Just then, Eren started to feel sad. I just can't accept things ending that way...

"None of us can as well... but the world is just cruel... We were all born into this world after all..." Jean said, surprising everyone.

"Indeed... it's not fair..." Petra adds, and the scouts were sad. The Marley Warriors also lowered their heads, deep down inside they couldn't accept that their families were the ones to die instead.

Just then, Eren heard a beating sound, and he turned to an alley. This scene...

Ramzi was beaten by some merchants, who punched him in the gut. I've seen it in memories of the future. Most likely, I save this kid.

Razmi continued to be beaten as he was crawling on the ground. Eren stepped forward, and the merchants noticed him.

"This kid's a foreign refugee and a serial pickpocket. This is where we do business." "In other words, for us, this is pest control." "This ain't got nothin' to do with you. Get lost."

"But they shouldn't have beaten the kid up like that." Sasha retorted, and the others were agreeing.

Eren muttered, "Yeah... That's true." He began to turn away. What am I thinking? Ramzi seemed to be begging Eren, but Eren said, I eventually kill this kid, too. Who do I think I am?

"So you're just going to walk away like that?" Connie asks in shock.

"This isn't the same Eren Yeager who used to stand up to bullies like that." Hange frowns.

"Tch." Levi mutters.

I've committed horrible acts of violence. I have no business acting like a righteous person. Eren decided to leave, and more beating sounds were heard.

"It's true that everyone commits horrible acts of violence, but there is still some good in the hearts..." Armin adds.

That night, Eren was carrying Ramzi while returning to the camp. It appears the future doesn't change.

"Thanks." Ramzi said to Eren.

I'm the same as you, Reiner. A half-assed piece of shit.

Reiner tenses after hearing what Eren said, and the 104th all stare at Reiner before thinking back and how Reiner used to help them before revealing himself to be a traitor to Marley.

No, that's wrong. I'm worse than that. Eren put both of his hands on Ramzi, he cried, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."

"Why're you crying?" Razmi was confused.

At the same time, Eren also feels tears coming from his eyes, and he tries to cover his face with agony. Mikasa mutters, "Eren..."

Everyone is also feeling bad for Eren, he couldn't change the future like he wanted to, and that's why he had to commit the greatest crime in history. Ray walks to Eren and gives him a hug. "Don't be like that... Papa..."

"Ramzi! Halil!" The scene changed back to the Rumbing, and their grandfather yelled at them. "Hurry! Come with us! Ramzi!"

Everyone was running from the Colossal Titans. "Run! Run!" "Why there are Titans!" "The mountains! Head for the higher ground!"

Ramzi and Halil were running with the elders, and a man stopped and yelled, "It's no use! Look there! The Titans are in the mountains too!"

"Heaven help us!" "We're done for!" "There's nowhere to escape to!" "Did the Marleyans flee without warning us?" "They're too fast!" "Let's at least save the children!"

Ramzi and Halil were looking at the approaching Titans, and Halil muttered, "Ramzi, are we gonna get stepped on and crushed?"

Ramzi hugged his treasure tightly and yelled, "That's not gonna happen! Don't give up!"

As the Colossal Titan stepped on the ground, the scene changed back to that night. "To save the island... To save Eldia... But there's... more to this..."

Everyone was running from the Rumbling, but Halil tripped and the treasure all fell from the bag. "The money!" Halil yelled.

"Halil!" Ramzi yelled after seeing Halil trying to grab the money.

"Is he serious right now?" Connie yelled, "Forget the money! You have to run!"

"They probably can't hear you in here, you know." Ymir rolls her eyes.

"The reality of the world outside the walls was different from the world I dreamed of..." Eren continued to say with tears flowing from his face.

"Halil!" Ramzi tried to stop Halil from grabbing the money, but the Colossal Titan was almost approaching them.

"They're going to die... it's inevitable..." Erwin frowns.

"No way..." Moblit adds.

"It was different from the world I saw in Armin's book. When I learned humanity was alive outside the walls..."

The Colossal Titan destroyed the building and caused chunks of rock to fly toward Ramzi and Halil, and the two of them were hit while falling to the ground, blood coming out of their bodies.

"I... was disappointed..." Ramzi screamed in horror as the chunk of rock made him unable to move away from the spot, "I... wanted this..."

Halil was already dead, his head was crushed by the rubble. Razmi gasped in horror before the giant foot of the Colossal Titan was about to step on him.

"I wanted... to wipe everything away...I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." Eren continued to apologize to Ramzi.

Everyone feels conflicted, it is clearly apparent that Eren is lying, he doesn't want to do this, but the cruelty of the world caused him to do this.

Before Ramzi was crushed to death, he saw a glimpse of the Founder Ymir staring at him.

"How was that even possible?" Everyone can't believe what they saw, Founder Ymir was standing there. Eren was also shocked since he didn't know she was there watching the Rumbling.

"I'm so sorry!" The Colossal Titans continued to march, and where Ramzi and Halil were, there was a giant puddle of blood.

Everyone feels sick after seeing the scene, they lost their appetite and some decided to close their eyes and forget what they just saw, but it was too difficult.

"Come on! Open the gate! Please let us in!" The refugees yelled while banging on the door, but the Colossal Titan already reached them. All of them were running in different directions, but none of them survived.

The Titans continued to walk forward, and in a building, a man yelled, "Hello? Is somebody there? Anybody!"

It turned out to be Zeke's grandparents, who were still locked behind a cell unable to run.

"Grandpa... grandma..." Eren frowns, they have to also die from the Rumbling as well.

"Why didn't they run?" Mikasa asks.

"They can't. After Zeke seemingly betrayed Marley, they were imprisoned." Ray says.

"Dear." Ms. Yeager said to Dr. Yeager. "It's here, isn't it? Judgment day has come for us."

Everyone continued to run, and there was a woman who kneeled on the ground crying. But some of them were crushed by the giant foot and dead. Some robbers were trying to steal jewelry during the moment, but they were all crushed as well.

"Is this... hell?" Bertolt mutters. "What about our parents?"

"Please tell me that they're fine..." Annie adds.

Erwin says, "But even though their lives are in danger of the Rumbling... some of the people are still selfish as they only care about themselves..."

"You read all of that?" Ray says with surprise.

"That's human nature after all..." Mike says.

There were people who forced the car drivers out of the car while trying to save their lives, but they were also too late. And there was a woman who was crying with two children before being stepped on.

The remaining people all try to get into the train, and then there are those who waited for their deaths, including Dr. Yeager and Ms. Yeager. Behind the Colossal Titan, the Founding Titan, Eren Yeager, is marching with them.

"From the moment I was born, there was always a stifling wall looming before me." Suddenly, the screen changed into the blue sky with clouds, and a nine-year-old Eren was staring at it.

"Fiery water, lands of ice, sandy snowfields..." Then nine-year-old Armin approached Eren and showed him the book.

Armin smiled a little and the old memory, but then he frowns again after learning about the real world and what happened.

"The people who witnessed these things..." More and more people were running away from the Rumbling, and there was one who shot himself to death before the rumbling reached him.

The nine-year-old Eren spread his arms wide. "...were the ones that had obtained the greatest freedom in the world."

The voice changed to the nine-year-old Eren's voice, "This... is freedom!"

Everyone is confused as to why showing a nine-year-old Eren in the sky spreading his arms and feeling the wind. Eren says, "I don't... I don't remember any of this..."

"This is weird..." Reiner says, "If we didn't hear the first words, we would have thought that Eren was happy to do the Rumbling instead of the sad face like now..."

"I agree." Hange says, "But what does that mean?"

Eren said, "We finally arrived at this view." Eren looked down and all he could see is the clouds, he turned around and said, "Haven't we, Armin?"

The nineteen-year-old Armin was standing in front of the young Eren, and they were now back at the paths.

"Wait, so that was in the paths? But why did Eren turn back into a kid?" Connie asks.

"The Founder Ymir also turned back into a kid in the paths as well... maybe time is different inside the paths?" Moblit asks.

"But what am I doing there as well?" Armin asks.

Ray says, "It's simple, Eren sent all of you into the paths, he told you all the truth of what he's doing, but then he wiped all of your memories."

"Why? Why wiping our memories?" Jean asks.

"You'll have to wait and see." Ray says while continuing the video.

"Eren..." Armin was sent back to the ship, and he heard Annie's voice. "Are your wounds healed now?"

He turned to see Annie sitting on the deck, he said, "Huh? Annie? Yeah, since we've had some time... I never imagined we'd be able to relax like this."

Annie put her hand on the deck and asked, "Wanna sit with me?"

Now the two of them were blushing a little red, Bertolt felt a little sad, but he also remembered that he was already eaten by Armin.

Seagulls were flying, and Armin was sitting beside Annie. "I'd... been meaning to thank you."

"Huh?" "For coming to talk to me for years." Annie said. "Thank you."

"Oh. Yeah." Armin said. Annie continued, "I was so lonely I thought I'd go crazy. Hearing from you and Hitch was the only joy I had."

"Annie..." "But why did you choose to spend time chatting with a rock that never responded?"

"Eh?" "There were more cheerful and pleasant girls to talk to, right?"

"Are you serious? We turned from an intense gore into some sort of love confession?" Connie asks.

"This is pointless... why are we actually watching this?" Levi mutters.

"But it's true that we really want to see how things between them turn out." Nifa says.

"That's... not the issue. It was because I wanted to see you, Annie." Annie gasped, and Armin's face was blushing.

"Look at your face, Armin." Jean says, and Armin really wants to find a place to hide.

Annie stared at him before crouching again, "Why then?"

"What? You really don't know? After how much Hitch teased me?" Armin stopped after seeing Annie's red face.

The two of them are actually acting the same from the screen, and the others can't help but want to tease them, but a glare from Annie already caused them to stop.

"I don't know. What am I even doing? Right now, thousands, if not hundreds of millions, are being trampled to death all across the world, and we're..."

Armin frowned and Annie said, "I know. You were talking to an enemy like me, because you're a good person, right?"

"This again?" Ymir asks.

"For the same reason, you won't give up on talking things out with Eren. I could have woken up at any moment. Talking to the monster was another way to avoid conflict. Right?"

Annie frowned as she tried to stand up, but Armin grabbed her hand, causing her to be a little surprised.

"Don't go." He held her hand tight. "Also, I told you this before, but...I really do hate the phrase "good person." Annie stared at him. "I killed a huge number of people. Including civilians... Even children... And now I've made a choice that betrays the people of my island, and I've killed friends. I've long since become a monster, too."

They remembered how they killed Daz, Samuel, and the other 104th friends because they were Yeagerists, and they couldn't help but agree with Armin.

"Some part of me thought that one day, the promise Eren and I made to explore the unknown world together would become a reality."

"The unknown world wasn't what it was cracked up to be, right?" Annie said while sitting back down.

"Yeah. It was different from the world we'd dreamed of. But..." Armin turned to see a seagull landing on the ship.

"I want to believe there must still be something beyond the walls that we don't know about." The scene suddenly changed to Eren, who had a sad face.

"Eren doesn't seem to be happy in that scene..." Historia frowns.

"None of us do, but I'm glad the embarrassing part is over." Annie says.

The ship arrived at Odiha, the town was already empty, only a dog who found a sausage and gnawing on it. Hange stood beside Lady Azumabito and asked, "Quiet, isn't it?"

"The residents of Odiha must have already fled south, seeing as how every ship is gone." Kiyomi replied.

"Well, then, we're in the Azumabito clan's hands." Hange turned around to see some engineers rushing to the plane.

"Yes, and we shall do whatever it takes to launch the flying boat into the air." Kiyomi said.

"Remove the cover! Quick!" Jean yelled after reaching the boat.

"Damnit! These explosives are in the way." Connie said.

"Let's cut 'em off and toss 'em!" Reiner replied.

"Wait!" Armin stopped them and touched the cloth, "We might be able to use them. Let's load them on the flying boat."

Back on the ship, Falco was screaming in horror and agony. "How can it be?!" He was also holding his head.

"They're all dead? Commander Magath... My family in Liberio... All of them?!" Pieck was sitting beside Falco while Gabi was leaning against the wall.

"The Rumbling has already destroyed a majority of the continent of Marley." Pieck said.

"Then what can we do now?" Falco asked. "There's nobody else!"

Pieck held her head and muttered, "I'm sorry. I don't know."

"So our parents... are they really dead?" Annie asks Ray, who sighs, "For the purpose of not wanting you guys to attack my Papa right now, I will say that they are still alive. All of your parents."

Reiner says, "Really... Thank goodness..."

"But still, it is not fair that your parents were alive while Papa's parents didn't." Ray says, which causes the warriors to frown.

Annie was sitting at the dock until Mikasa approached her. "Annie, check your equipment. You're still not used to the new ODM gear, are you? Go with Reiner and zip around over there to get accustomed."

Annie turned away. "Why?"

Mikasa frowned, "We should... do the things we can... so..."

"I believe I told you that I'm backing out." Annie said.

"You don't even intend to get on the flying boat either?" Mikasa asked.

"Sorry, but I'm staying behind. Wanting to save humanity... I don't really get that." Annie said. "If anything, us Eldians in Marley were persecuted by the "humanity" you want to save from the moment we were born. Even if hypothetically the rumbling stopped now, with Marley gone, there's no one left to protect the Eldians. I truly do feel sorry about this, when they're putting everything toward the slim hope of saving their homeland. But... I can't fight anymore."

She stared at Armin and continued, "I want to spend the time I have left living peacefully." Annie blushed again, and it seemed that Mikasa connected the dots and blushed as well. "Since when did it happen?"

"Never thought I heard it from you of all people." Ymir says, while Mikasa just glares at her.

"When did what happen?" Annie asked.

"Okay. I get it." "Get what?"

"You don't have to suffer anymore." Mikasa replied. "But... Armin's going to board the flying boat with us and head for Eren."

"I know." Annie lowered her head. "What about you? What do you want? Are you gonna go kill Eren to save humanity?"

"I won't kill him." Mikasa said. "Eren's gone far away and I'm bringing him back. That's all I'm doing."

"I'm still grateful that you still wanted me alive even though I did a lot of horrible things." Eren says, and Mikasa says, "Don't say those things again, Eren."

"Yeah, Papa." Ray also scolds him.

"By the way, did you lose your scarf?" Annie asked.

"I have it." Mikasa said while walking away.

Back on the ship, Armin noticed Levi climbing down the stairs and yelled, "This is crazy! You should still be in bed!"

Levi said, "Stay in bed? If I lie down any longer, you shits are gonna forget all about me."

"Who said we're gonna forget the captain?" Connie says, only to glare at the strongest soldier in the room.

Hange says, "Come on, Levi. You should be grateful that you're still alive."

"Shut up, you four-eyes." Levi retorts while slapping her from the sofa.

"And that bearded bitch who passed out after her arm was broken is awake." Levi said. "I'll be damned if we don't make her tell us where Eren's going."

"So Yelena was awake." Jean says.

"I was hoping she wouldn't, but then again, we do need her to tell us where this Eren is heading." Sasha says.

The scene changed back to when Yelena and Eren had a secret meeting. "Assuming a global combined fleet sets out to attack Paradis Island, it would gather here at Karifa Navel Port. After the raid on Liberio, we give them a month's time to rally the global alliance, then you gain control of the Founding Titan by making contact with Zeke and activating a limited rumbling."

Behind Eren, Floch was also listening to the plan. Yelena continued, "The several hundred Titans in the Shiganshina section of the outer wall should be able to take them out with ease."

"Is that the only target?" Eren asked. "Will that be enough to keep Paradis Island untouched for decades?"

"A nation that losses its fleet will be driven to economic collapse. If that happens to all the major nations, it should be more than sufficient a blow. If I had to pick another target, it would be this fortress in Marley's southern mountains..." She pointed at another part of the map. "The airship research base here is of some concern."

Back in the present, Yelena said, "Most likely, that is Eren's second target."

"Fort Salta..." Pieck said.

"Fort Salta was the place where Marley finished the war with the Mid-Eastern nations, right?" Moblit asks after looking at the notes.

"Yes." Ray replies.

"True. If he knew of the existence of weapons that had the slightest chance of harming the Founding Titan..."

"I expect that's his next stop after Karifa Naval Port." Yelena said. "He'll go destroy the airships."

"You answered mighty obediently." Levi said.

"I have a request for all of you." She held the blanket tight. "Please acknowledge something. Zeke was defeated. But he was right. The only solution to the two-millennium-spanning Eldia problem was the euthanization plan. I'm sure you can see that in the wake of this disaster."

"Is she serious? She really wants us to acknowledge that killing all the Eldians peacefully is the right plan?" Henning asks.

"Even if it is right, there's no way we could accept it." Nanaba says.

"Yeah, I admit it. I wasn't able to show Eren any solution, hope, or a future. I admit my powerlessness." Hange replied.

Back at the port, Reiner, Connie, and Jean managed to place the final fuel tank. Jean yelled, "This is the last of the fuel we brought on the ship."

Onyankopon yelled, "Go ahead and leave it there."

As the engineers continued to fix the flying boat, Pieck was standing on top of the boat with Lady Kiyomi. "Please take those two with you. Being on the ship won't really guarantee their safety. But it's better than taking them on the flying boat."

"I don't mind doing so, of course, but will they accept that?" Kiyomi asked.

"Considering they managed to sneak onto our flying boat back then..." Connie says, still sour about Sasha's death.

"I'll confine them in their cabin." Pieck said. "Don't let them out until the flying boat takes off."

"What about you?" Kiyomi asked.

"I have to repay my fallen comrades." Pieck said. "I'll perform my role as a Warrior." Then Pieck left the boat.

Dawn was about to rise, and Onyankopon yelled, "Hange! In about an hour, we can begin preparations for takeoff!"

"Got it!" Hange turned to the Scouts, "You heard the man. Each of you, inspect your gear."

"Yes, Commander!" The scouts replied, Levi tried to hold still the gear, and he muttered, "Two fingers is all I need. I'm ready."

With the Warriors, Annie said, "So I'm the only one running away..."

"Don't worry about it." Pieck replied. "From the beginning, you were never subservient to Marley. You don't have to shoulder anything more."

Reiner lowered his head and said, "All this time, I've wanted to apologize to you and Bertolt. It all goes back to that day when I continued the mission that started all this. That day, if I had turned back, both you and Bertolt could have gone home and seen your families. It feels presumptuous to even apologize."

Annie said, "Yeah. I don't know how many times I decided to kill you, only to stop myself."

"I'm glad you didn't." Reiner said.

Then Annie and Reiner shared a hug, with Reiner saying, "Take care of Gabi and Falco."

"Yes, sir." Then they broke while she go to the ship with Lady Azumabito waiting.

"I never thought I would see that coming..." Connie says, referring to the interaction between Reiner and Annie.

Annie still glared at Reiner and says, "If you think I'm the same as the one on the screen then you're wrong. I still don't forgive you for everything happened."

Reiner sulks a little, but Bertolt is trying to comfort him.

"Annie!" Then she turned to see the Scouts waving goodbye to her. Armin said nothing, but also gave her a smile before waving at her.

Mikasa approached and asked, "Armin, are you all right with this?"

"With what?" Armin blushed again.

"To be honest, I was relying on her." Jean muttered.

"But Annie has fought enough." Connie replied.

"I am. I... I want Annie to stay Annie." Armin replied.

Armin blushed again as he tried to hide once more.

Hange turned to Reiner and Pieck, "Are you two sure you want to come with us? Assuming the rumbling stops, Eldians won't find themselves in a great position..."

"I hate to admit it, but you were right, Hange." Pieck said. "General Magath was leaving us a final order: To work together and do what needs to be done."

"Pieck..." Hange smiled and said, "I'd love to ride on the Cart Titan's back sometime and feel its body heat as we-"

"No." Pieck said while leaving, "That took a sudden, creepy turn."

"Glad to see you're still the same Hange that we knew." Abel says.

"You were too serious, but it's glad to see there's something that doesn't change." Nifa adds.

"Guys..." Hange smiles at them.

"I see your love of Titans is still unrequited, four-eyes." Levi said while approaching her.

"We'll be pals soon enough." Hange said.

The other scouts were having breakfast while Hange looked at the sun, "Tell me, Levi. Do you think they're all watching? You think we can stand proud before our fallen comrades as we are now?"

"Don't go and start sounding like him."

"We're definitely watching this time. Although in this room and together." Petra says, and the remaining scouts agree.

"But something tells me that there is going to be something happening." Connie says, and it causes everyone to glare at him.

"Good. Begin the fueling process!" The engineer says. "Yes sir!"

Onyankopon smiles, "Good. We're gonna make it before the rumbling gets here."

Behind him, Floch suddenly appeared in a weakened state.

"What the?" Everyone jumps and Jean asks, "Floch is still alive after all of that?"

"How did he even get there?" Historia asks.

Floch took out the gun and shot at the fuel tank, Mikasa charged forward and shot the ODM Gear, which hit the chest and the neck as Floch fell to the ground.

"You jinx it again, Connie..." Ymir glared at him.

"But Floch is now dead I guess..." Everyone frowns after hearing Sasha's words.

"Floch?" Hange asked. "Don't tell me you clung to the ship all the way here-"

"Hange! There are holes in the fuel tank!" Onyankopon said. "We can't fly like this!"

"Are you kidding me?" Hange mutters with horror.

"Don't lose hope! If we cover the holes, we can make it work! Get the welding tools!" The engineers are trying to fix the hole, and Hange asks, "How long will it take?"

"With tin plates, we could do it in an hour, barely."

Just then, they felt the shaking, and Hange gasped, "This sound..."

Reiner rushed outside and Jean yelled, "Don't tell me..."

Reiner stopped and stared outside. "It's here... The Rumbling... is here!"

"You've gotta be kidding me! The Rumbling appeared just at the moment?" Armin asks.

"Don't do it..." Floch said with tears in his eyes. "Please... don't..."

"Inspect the engine! Hurry!" "Be ready to start fueling at any moment!"

"Floch..." Hange kneeled at him along with Jean.

"Every... one... on the... island... will be... killed... Our devils... are our... only... hope..."

"Come on! Floch!" Jean yelled, but Hange put her hand on the nose and said, "He's dead."

Everyone frowns on Floch, and Eren is also happy for Floch to support him even until his death, while the others are frowning because all he wants is to protect the island.

"It's as you said, Floch. But I just can't give up. Even if it's hopeless today, maybe someday..." Hange raised her head with determination.

The Rumbling is approaching, and both Gabi and Falco are banging on the door with Annie still trying to stop them

"Let us out! The Titans are on our doorstep, aren't they?" "Open the door!"

"Shut up!" Annie yelled back.

As the Rumbling approached, Mikasa asked, "Armin, do you have any ideas?"

"Only one." Armin said. "I stay behind and slow them down."

"Don't do this, Armin!" Historia says.

"Yeah, you already suffered from Bertolt already..." Connie says.

"It can't be you. You're our sole trump card for stopping Eren. I'll do it." Reiner said.

"That's obviously not the play. We can't afford to expend another shred of Titan power." Hange said. "I'm the one who led you this far. And we killed many friends and comrades to get here. I'm taking responsibility for that."

"Hange..."

"Oi! Don't tell me that you're going to sacrifice yourself like that." Levi says to Hange, who flinches.

"So it is going to show my death..." Hange frowns. "I guess it's fair."

"Armin Arlert. I hereby designate you as the 15th Commander of the Scout Regiment. Armin widens his eyes with shock. "The position calls for a certain quality- a mindset of continuously pursuing understanding. There's no one more suitable than you. I leave everyone in your hands."

Armin could only widen his eyes with horror, and Hange said, "Well, that's that. See ya, everyone."

"No... please don't..." Armin frowns, and all of them can feel the pressure and pain after what they've seen.

"I almost forgot! Levi's your underling now, so really put him to work." Hange said.

"Really?" Levi glares at her.

"Hey, Four eyes." Levi stood in front of Hange, who said, "You understand, right, Levi? My turn's come at last."

Her hands were trembling. "I'm giddy with the desire to make a supremely cool exit. Don't stop what I've got going."

Levi frowned before placing his fist on her heart. "Give your heart."

"Wait, did Levi say that?" Hange asks. "I can't believe it!"

"We all heard it. So you could say that after all." Erwin says.

Levi just groans as the others are going to make fun of him and he doesn't like it.

"That's the first time I've heard you say that." Hange replied.

"Hange!" Everyone tried to stop her, but she already left with her ODM gear and she was charging toward the Titans.

"Ah! Titans truly are marvelous!" Hange exclaimed before using her own Thunder Spears to kill the Colossal Titans. One by one, they are falling to the ground.

Everyone could only stare while the engineers are working.

"Hange..." Everyone is now tearing up as they are watching her sacrifice for the boat to fly, and even Levi is shedding some tears because of it.

"It's sealed! Start fueling!" While everyone was going on the boat, Hange continued to kill the Titans that almost approached the Flying boat.

"They're right on top of us!" "There's no more time for fueling! Start the engine!"

The plane was about to take off, and everyone was pushing to move it forward. Hange killed another one and turned back. "They still need more time?"

She continued to kill the Titans, until her body was starting to get on fire.

"No! Please stop!" Everyone can't watch it anymore, and suddenly Levi holds Hange tight as she finds herself unable to get out of his grip.

The Flying boat flies off, and everyone watched Hange turn into flames and crashed into the ocean. It was at the same time the Colossal Titans arrived, also crushing the dead body of Floch and the port together.

"Hange..." Everyone on the flying boat was mourning the loss of Hange, only Levi sat there emotionless and said, "So long, Hange. Watch us..."

On the other side of the ocean, the ship took Annie, Gabi, and Falco also left.

In the afterlife, Hange was lying in a giant footprint until she gasped and yelled, "The Flying boat!"

"It took off." She turned around to see her fallen comrades, and the one speaking is Erwin. "Hange, you fulfilled your role."

"Erwin?"

"Is this the afterlife? Is that even possible?" Armin asks.

"And can you please let go, Levi?" Hange asks, and everyone notices that Levi is almost crushing Hange. After realizing everyone's staring at him, he glares and says, "We don't talk about this."

Everyone is scared and they all nod. Ray is amused as she decides to continue the video.

"All of you?" She noticed the flying boat leaving. "I see..."

Moblit helped her up and she said, "I'm tellin' ya, I really had my hands full after being named Commander. With Eren's idiocy, of course."

"We know. You can tell us about it." Erwin said.

Ray says, "Alright. Let's take a break. You just finished the first part of the one-hour special. After 10 minutes, we'll continue it."

The others nod, they know that Hange's death is very intense and they need to take a break from it.

Okay, this is the first part of the two-part chapter. And I decide to do this first since the other reactions are in hiatus. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will be the last half of the Part 3 first part.
