“Now, remember Aurora, Be nice, Make friends, Don’t be afraid to ask for help, and stand up to bullies.” Her mother said.

”I know I know,”Aurora replied scratching her strangely colored rainbow spikes on the back of her neck. They have been flying away from the Ice Kingdom for two days straight. That was a lot of flying for a 4-year-old- dragonet who wasn't used to it. Her mother, Frost Flare, on the other talon, had no problems. A couple times a day Aurora had to stay on Frost Flare’s back for a few minutes to regain the feeling to her black snow-speckled wings.” How much longer?” She asked holding her silver necklace so it wouldn't bounce against her chest. It had a cage on the end with a blood red pearl her best friend, Sahara the Sand Wing, gave her a year ago at her 3rd hatching day party.

”Not very far. Look, you can see the mountain” “Race ya!”Aurora responded shooting up ahead beating her wings as fast as she could.

”Oh no you don’t,”Her mother responded, beating her wings and catching up. Aurora had the advantage of agility and moving around the mountains,but Frost Flare had larger wings to beat harder. ”Where are you, ya little rascal?”She muttered under her breath. All of a sudden a small silver figure shot out from above her landing on the cliffside, surprising her while doing it.

”Got you again!”Aurora said as her mother landed beside her.

”You clung on to me! That’s cheating!” exclaimed Frost Flare.

“Actually, I drafted, so you did all the work and I could shoot ahead. And I succeeded.” Aurora explained with a hint of prideful arrogance.

“Cheater.” Frost Flare muttered.

”Awesomeness,” She argued back,grinning. “Lets go inside now.”She turned around and walked inside the cave.

”Hello!”said a black Nightwing with a dark purple under belly. She had several scrolls in front  of her.

“Hello Fatespeaker!” Aurora responded.

“Hello,” Frost Flare said.

“Is Sahara

here yet?”Aurora asked.

“Yes” Fatespeaker responded.

“Yay!” she cheered,”Can you tell me where my cave is?”

”Sure!” She looked down at a scroll in front of her.

“First tunnel on the right, sixth cave on the right.”Fatespeaker said.

“Thank you. Lets go.” Aurora said.

Aurora and Frost Flare departed own the tunnel.”Sixth cave to the right,”Aurora muttered. She stopped at her cave. It had a hammock  in the middle and a two ledges on the other sides with white polar bear furs covering it. There was also mahogany bookshelves with several scrolls in them between the three beds.  “Well, I'm going to leave know. I have something I need to get to,” said Frost Flare “Alright, bye Momma. Don't forget to send me my things.” Aurora responded, turning around and rubbing her head against her mother’s neck.With that they departed,Frost Flare down the tunnel, Aurora in the cave. She noticed a few things. There was a red light on the bookshelf and an orange one on the stalagmite by the doorway, which took up nearly the entire front wall. All of a sudden, she felt exhaustion overcome her. She curled up on the ledge and fell asleep.
