"I hope she will come out alright,"said Snowdrop, looking at the white egg in front of her glowing blue-pink under the aurora borealis in the sky.

"So do I. Wolf was alright, wasn't he?" said Shadowseeker, twining his long, black tail around hers. She didn't answer, thinking of the gray dragonet. He breathed a plume of flames so he could warm himself before stomping on the frozen dirt of the the turunda zone so it was softer. He could tell Snowdrop was nervous. He put a talon on her shoulder, wincing slightly as he met her cold,blue, Icewing scales.

"She will be perfect." CRACK! "Its hatching!" Snowdrop exclaimed, looking down at the crack that just appeared. She picked it up and saw two starburst shaped that had just appeared at the top. CRACK! The egg exploded. Sitting in Snowdrop's talons was a small, white dragon with black on the edge of her wings,like snow. Her icicle horns and tail spikes that were from dark purple to sapphire blue to a dark raspberry pink. She had normal dragon claws and an azure spine and spiked ice wings with pointy ears.

"She is beautiful."Shadowseeker said in a deep voice.

"Aurora,"she sighed in response,looking up at the rainbow sky.

"Arwk!" squawked the tiny dragonet curled up in the talons of her mother.

"It's late. You should get back to get some sleep."Snowdrop said.

"Indeed," Shadowseeker replied sadly, spreading his starry wings. "See you next time?"

"Yes I will bring Aurora."She said as Shadowseeker took flight and flew towards the Kingdom of Sand, leaving his dragonet. She could of sworn she saw a tear fall.

"Alright, time to get you home."said Snowdrop as she flew off with Aurora, who was asleep. "Let's just hope the tribe will accept you the way you are."
