I know I'm a shitty friend.

Now now, before you get your nipples in a twist and tell me that I'm not, hear me out.

First of all, I'd like to address something.
I don't really think before I talk. That's my main problem. And sometimes I say things that hurt people without realizing it.
I'm not gonna make any excuses for myself because it's wrong. There's no justification for it.

My other problem is that I have trouble being social.
People try to talk to me, and I'll brush it off and tell them to go away. It's just how I am, and how I've always been. Even when people try to help me, I shut people out.

I know I'm a shitty friend.
But I appreciate you guys for caring about me anyway.

I appreciate you guys because you're my real friends, you call me out on my bullshit, tell me when I mess up so I can fix my mistakes.
I appreciate you because you know just how to make me smile and laugh. You remind me of my best friend, who I'll leave anonymous for now. But that crazy bitch knows who she is.
Anyway, you can make me smile like my own family can't. And that takes some serious skills.

I appreciate you guys for not giving a damn about what I look like or how crazy I am.
Before I got into this friend group, I hung out with a group of socs that tried to conform me into being like them, and to do everything they told me to do. Even my looks.
But you guys don't give a single fuck about how different I am from the rest of you. In fact, that's what most of us take pride in. :)
