"Well, you know, the suit can take the weight, right? So I take the tank, fly it right up to the General's palace, drop it at his feet, I'm like, "Boom! You looking for this?" Rhodes said. You, Stark and Thor just look at him blankly. "Boom! Are you looking..." Why do I even talk to you guys? Everywhere else that story kills." He said. "That's the whole story?" You asked. "Yeah, it's a War Machine story." Rhodes said. "Well, it's very good then." Thor laughs. "It's impressive." He adds. "Quality save. So, no Pepper? She's not coming?" Rhodes asked. "No." Tony said. "What about Jane?" Hill asked. "Well, Miss Potts has a company to run." Tony said. "Yes, I'm not even sure what country Jane's in. Her work on the convergence has made her the world's foremost astronomer." Thor said. "And the company that Pepper runs is the largest tech conglomerate on earth. It's pretty exciting." Tony said. "There's even talk of Jane getting a... um, uh... Nobel prize." Thor said. " "Yeah, they...they must be busy because they'd hate missing you guys get together. You mock cough. "Testosterone! Oh, excuse me." You said. Tony and Thor glare at you. "Want a lozenge?" Rhodes asked Hill, who just came over. "Um-hmm." She said. "Let's go." Maria and Rhodes walk off. "But Jane's better." Thor said. "Sounds like a hell of a fight, sorry I missed it." Wilson said. "If I had known it was going to be a firefight I absolutely would have called you." Steve said. "No, I'm not actually sorry. I'm just trying to sound tough. I'm very happy chasing cold leads on our missing persons case. Avenging is your world. Your world is crazy." Wilson said. "Be it ever so humble." Steve said. "You find a place in Brooklyn yet?" Wilson asked. "I don't think I can afford a place in Brooklyn." Steve said. "Well, home is home, you know?" Wilson asked.

Rhodes is telling the same story he told you, Stark and Thor to a group of women at the party."I fly it right up to the General's palace, I drop it at his feet, I'm like, "Boom! You looking for this?"He said.The group laughs.You, Steve and Thor are talking to an elderly man at the party. "I gotta have some of that!" The man said. "Oh, no, no, no. See this, this was aged for a thousand years, in the barrels built from the wreck of Brunhilde's fleet, it's not meant for mortal men." Thor said. Thor pours the drink into two glasses and hands one to Steve. "Neither was Omaha Beach, blondie. Stop trying to scare us. Come on." The man said. "Alright." Thor pours some of the drink into the Stan Lee's glass; later Stan, looking extremely drunk is being carried off by two men. "Excelsior." The man said. Banner saw you at the bar by yourself, and decided to secretly try and flirt with you. He walks up to you. "How did a nice girl like you wind up in a dump like this?" He asked. "Fella did me wrong." You said. "You got a lousy taste in men, kid." Banner said. "He's not so bad. Well, he has a temper. Deep down he's all fluff. Fact is, he's not like anybody I've ever known. All my friends are fighters. And here comes this guy, spends his life avoiding the fight because he knows he'll win." You said. "Sounds amazing." Banner said. "Did he...was he...? What did he do that was so wrong to you?" Banner asked. "Not a damn thing. But never say never" You walk off. "It's nice." Steve said."What, what, what is?" Banner asked. "You and (Y/n)." Steve said. "No, we haven't. That wasn't..." Banner stammered.

"It's okay. Nobody's breaking any by-laws. It's just, she's not the most... open person in the world. But with you she seems very relaxed." Steve said. "No, (Y/n), she...she likes to flirt." Banner said. "I've seen her flirt, up close. This ain't that. Look, as maybe the world's leading authority on "waiting too long", don't. You both deserve a win." Steve walks off. "Wait, what do you mean, "up close"? Banner asked, a hint of jealousy in his voice. "But, it's a trick!" Clint said, referring to Thor's hammer. "Oh, no. It's much more than that." Thor said. "Uh, "Whosoever be he worthy shall haveth the power!" Whatever man! It's a trick." Clint smiled. "Well please, be my guest." Thor said. "Come on." Tony said. "Really?" Clint asked. "Yeah." Thor said. Barton gets up. "Oh this is gonna be beautiful." Rhodes said. "Clint, you've had a tough week, we won't hold it against you if you can't get it up." Tony said. The others laughed. "You know I've seen this before, right?" Clint asked. Barton grabs Thor's hammer and can't lift it. "I still don't know how you do it." Barton laughs. "Smell the silent judgment?" Tony asked. "Please, Stark, by all means." Clint said. Tony gets up. "Oh, here we go." Natasha said. "Uh oh." Rhodes said. "Um-hmm." Hill said. "Never one to shrink from an honest challenge." Tony said. "Get after it." Clint said. "Here we go." Natasha said. "It's physics." Tony said. "Physics!" You said. Stark grasps Thor's hammer. "Right, so, if I lift it, I...I then rule Asgard?" Tony asked. "Yes, of course." Thor smiles.

"I will be re-instituting Prima Nocta." Tony Stark tries to lift the hammer but fails. "I'll be right back." He said. Wearing his armored hand, Stark tries to lift the hammer again and fails. You and Stark both try to lift Thor's hammer together. "Are you even pulling?" You asked. "Are you on my team?" Tony asked. "Just represent! Pull!" You said. "Alright, let's go!" Tony said.You both pull as hard as you can. Banner tries to lift the hammer, he roars trying to change to the Hulk but fails, and everyone but you stare at him warily. You grin. "Huh?" Banner asked. Next Steve gets up to try. "Let's go, Steve, no pressure." Tony said. "Come on, Cap." You encouraged. Steve starts pulling on the hammer and manages to budge it a little; Thor looks a little alarmed. Steve still fails to lift it; Thor laughs with relief. "Nothing." Thor said. "And?" Tony asked. "Widow?" You asked. "Oh, no no. That's not a question I need answered." Natasha said. "All deference to the man who wouldn't be king, but it's rigged." Tony said. "You bet your ass." Clint said. "Steve, he said a bad language word." Hill said. "Did you tell everyone about that?" Steve asked you. "The handle's imprinted, right? Like a security code. "Whosoever is carrying Thor's fingerprints" is, I think, the literal translation?" You asked. "Yes, well that's, uh, that's a very, very interesting theory. I have a simpler one." Thorgets up and lifts his hammer and flips it. "You're all not worthy" Thor said. There's a chorus of disagreement from everyone. There's a loud screeching noise, causing all of you to cover your ears. You let your hand down as it fades. Ultron shows up.

"Worthy... No... How could you be worthy? You're all killers." Ultron said. "Stark." Steve said. "JARVIS." Tony said. "I'm sorry, I was asleep. Or...I was a-dream?" Ultron asked. Tony taps his device. "Reboot, Legionnaire OS, we got a buggy suit." Tony said. "There was a terrible noise...and I was tangled in... in...strings. I had to kill the other guy. He was a good guy." Ultron said. "You killed someone?" You asked. "Wouldn't have been my first call. But, down in the real world we're faced with ugly choices." Ultron said. "Who sent you?" Thor asked. Ultron replays Tony's voice. "I see a suit of armor around the world" "Ultron!" You said. "In the flesh. Or, no, not yet. Not this...chrysalis. But I'm ready. I'm on a mission." Ultron said. "What mission?" Natasha asked. "Peace in our time." Ultron said. Suddenly the Iron Legion bots break smash through the walls and attack all of you. After landing on top of Natasha as the Iron Legions continue to attack you. "Sorry!" Banner said. "Don't turn green!" Natasha said. "I won't!" Banner said. You all fight against the Iron Legions and Ultron takes the scepter. "Come!" Natasha said to Banner. "Stark!" Steve said. Stark is trying to shut down one of the Iron Legions. "We are here to help." The Iron Legion said. "One sec, one sec!" Tony said. "We are here to help. We are here to help..." Tony continues to try and shut down one of the Iron Legions."We are here to help. It's unsafe. It's unsafe. It's unsafe." They repeated. "No more. That's the one." "It's unsafe." The robot said. Tony manages to shut down the Iron Legion, at the same time you throw Steve's shield at him. "Cap!" You said. Steve uses his shield to dismember the last Iron Legion.

"That was dramatic! I'm sorry, I know you mean well. You just didn't think it through. You want to protect the world, but you don't want it to change. How is humanity saved if it's not allowed to...evolve?" Ultron picks up one of the dismembered Iron Legions. "With these? These puppets? There's only one path to peace: The Avengers' extinction." Suddenly Thor throws his hammer at Ultron and smashes him to pieces. After Thor destroys his body, Ultron starts singing. "I had strings, but now I'm free. There are no strings on me, no strings on me." "All our work is gone. Ultron cleared out, used the internet as an escape hatch." Banner said. "Ultron" you said. "He's been in everything. Files, surveillance. Probably knows more about us than we know about each other." Natasha said. "He's in your files, he's in the internet. What if he decides to access something a little more exciting?" Rhodes said. "Nuclear codes." Hill said. "Nuclear codes. Look, we need to make some calls, assuming we still can." Rhodes said. "Nukes? He said he wanted us dead." Natasha said. "He didn't say dead. He said extinct." You said. "He also said he killed somebody." Clint said. "But there wasn't anyone else in the building." Hill said. "Yes there was." You said. You bring up the now destroyed 3D image of JARVIS' consciousness. Tony and Banner are both in shock. "What?" Tony asked. "This is insane." Banner said. "JARVIS was the first line of defense. He would've shut Ultron down, it makes sense." Steve said. "No, Ultron could've assimilated Jarvis. This isn't strategy, this is...rage." Banner said. Suddenly Thor grabs hold of Stark by his throat and holds him up. "Woah, woah, woah! It's going around." Clint said. You were starting to get worried about Tony. "Come on. Use your words, buddy." Tony said.

"I have more than enough words to describe you, Stark." Thor growled. "Thor! The Legionnaire." You said. Thor lets go of Stark. "Trail went cold about a hundred miles out but it's headed north, and it has the scepter. Now we have to retrieve it, again." Thor said. "The genie's out of that bottle. Clear and present is Ultron." Natasha said. "I don't understand. You built this program. Why is it trying to kill us?" The doctor asked. Tony starts laughing, Banner subtly shakes his head at him to get him to stop, and you face palm. "You think this is funny?" Thor snapped. "No. It's probably not, right? Is this very terrible? Is it so...is it so...it is. It's so terrible." Tony said. "This could've been avoided if you hadn't played with something you don't understand." Thor said. "No, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. It is funny. It's a hoot that you don't get why we need this." Tony said. "Tony, maybe this might not be the time to..." you began.

Tony turned around at you in anger. "Really?! That's it? You just roll over, show your belly, every time somebody snarls." Tony said. "Only when we've created a murder bot." Banner said, you nodded. "We didn't. We weren't even close. Were we close to an interface?" Tony asked. "Well, you did something right. And you did it right here. The Avengers were supposed to be different than SHIELD." Steve said. "Anybody remember when I carried a nuke through a wormhole?" Tony asked. You rolled your eyes. "No, it's never come up." Rhodes said. "Saved New York?" Tony asked. "Never heard that." Rhodes said. "Recall that? A hostile alien army came charging through a hole in space. We're standing three hundred feet below it. We're the Avengers. We can bust arms dealers all the live long day, but, that up there? That's...that's the end game. How were you guys planning on beating that?" Tony asked. "Together." You said. "We'll lose." Tony said. "Then we'll do that together too." Steve said. Tony Looks at you and Steve for a moment before turning away. "Thor's right. Ultron's calling us out. And I'd like to find him before he's ready for us. The world's a big place. Let's start making it smaller." You said.
