At night

Avni, Neil and Aarav met in tree house for the planning.

Avni was trying to figure out something related to the incident and Neil and Aarav were very angry and shouting about what to do...

Suddenly something striked in Avni's mind....

"Bhai and Neil!!!" She shouted at them.

They became calm and Avni started to share some of information.

"Bhai, do you remember our holiday in which we gone to our grandma's house..."

"Yes... But why are you saying this?" Aarav asked confused.

" Do you remember in my 9th class, the same thing happened to me."

"What???" Neil said shocked.

"Yes Tillu, Actually I got locked in store room and I heard some sound, it was coming near to me by each passing seconds, then I was about to shout but a red eyed man closed my mouth with his hands but somehow I kicked him and started to shout and run. He started chasing me, suddenly bhaiya came and opened the door. That man pushed bhaiya and escaped from there." Avni said terrified and she couldn't digest the fact that the same thing has happened again but to another girl.

Neil sat beside her and hugged her by side " why didn't you say anything about it?"

"I dont want to make it as an issue and then I never got these type of incident... And I forgot it totally" Avni said not knowing what to do.

"Yes Neil, even I wanted to find and beat that idiot like anything and inform it to family but Avni was so stubborn" Aarav said in anger.

"Ok leave me and concentrate on the current issue, we need to find who it is and what's his motive behind his act" Avni said sternly.

" I think its the same person who tried to attack you , Zara and Tara" Neil said looking at Avni.

"Then the target should be Avni but why Zara and Tara was targeted" Aarav asked being clueless.

"Thats what we need to find, when their target is me, then why they attacked Zara" Avni trying to get some clue.

"For that we need to find the culprit of yours then we can get the answer why they attacked Zara" Neil said looking at Avni.

"Avu, Do you think someone who can do this?" Aarav asked.

" Actually I dont have anyone as I have never hurted anyone"

"Wait a second, this dialogue doesn't suits you" Neil said and Avni glared at him.

"Why?" Aarav asked being interested to know because according to him Avni is cute since Avni is good to her family and rude to others.

" Because whoever come in her way should be ready to face a hungry royal bengal tiger as she will bash them, tear them and at last the person will runaway just to save their lives" Neil said controling his laughing and Avni retorted him and atlast gave up.

" Ok fine I will try to remember who would be responsible for it" Avni said giving up.

Avni's Pov:

" That will be a very big list and we can nominate it for guinness record" A voice came from the window and three of them looked back at the person and got shocked.

" Sha!!! What are you doing h...e..r...e...?" Avni tried to ask before that three maniac fell from the window... I was like 'what the hell?'.

"You all are here, how did you all get to know " Tillu asked being surprised.

"We can track you by telepathy" Sha said naughtily and Ali slapped him in his arms.

"Avni we wanted to know why you both were tensed in afternoon, so Sha gave this stupid window breaking idea" Ali said seriously.

" Yeah its the Great me..." Sha said stressing the word 'great' and realised what Ali actually said and glared at him.

" Ok guys be serious it not funny" Ria proclaimed.

" Ok on the serious note, we also want to help you Avni" Sha said seriously for the first in the whole life.

"So we will find out as soon as possible, who is that bastard but we should also concentrate in our project" Neil said and I nodded and we all dispersed.

Next day, I woke up as my mom again started chanting " Avni wake up, its late". I got ready and moved out to the hall.

"Good morning ma" I hugged mom.

" Good morning beta, can you please inform Kabil to come for breakfast?" Neela maa asked me.

I nodded to her and went to Kabil's room. He was speaking with someone in balcony and I gone inside and looked into the room. At that time he came and I informed him to join the breakfast.All were started having their breakfast.

"How is you project going on?" Mom asked me being concerned.

" Its going good ma, another new project for National level and for that three level is there and we in second phase" I replied.

"If you dont mind, may I join your project and it will be useful me" Kabil interrupted.

"No, its only for our gang" I replied harshly.

" Why are you replying harshly princess?" A voice came and I looked back in that direction and found dad standing and I rushed to him and hugged him.

" When did you return dad? I missed you so much." I said surprised.

"In morning flight , I reached and I too missed my princess very much " Dad said hugging me

" You can join him in your team right?, He will also learn things." Dad asked looking at me and kabil.

"I cant because as I already said my project is in second phase and we already started it so we cant add anyone" I replied.

"Ok princess, Kabil, she will add you next time" he said and I got angered.

"Ok Uncle , I dont mind it and I will wait for the next project" Kabil said (But in his mind he was fuming because Avni replied harshly and neglected him.)

@ College

Everyone gathered in canteen.

"Zara and Tara be with us dont go anywhere without informing anyone of us" I said being concerned.

"We will go to our alloted room and discuss about the project" Neil said and everyone moved towards the room.

Neil held Avni's hand and took her to a corner.

Neil's Pov:

" What the hell neil? What happened?" Avni asked sternly.

" I need to ask you what happened on that day... Did you figured out who he is" I asked sternly.

" Still I couldn't, but I will soon figure it out. You dont worry, nothing will happen to you sisters" She replied.

" I'm not only worried for them but for you too... He also attacked you and he may try to harm you too and you also need to be careful" I said cared for her and I cant even imagine if anything happens to her.

" I dont want anyone to care and worry for me. I can take care of myself." She said sternly looking at my eyes switching into the Great Avni Mehta's mode.

she was normal without fighting with me but now I dont know what happened that she again changed to her old character that is rude and arrogant.

I face palmed myself "why are you not getting the point? You are also in danger. If something happens to you, I cant even think what I will do. And why are you behaving rude." I held her both shoulders being frustrated.

"You dont need to do anything and I can handle everything and I'm always rude, I never changed myself get it into your mind" she said looking away.

"God damn!!! Can anyone in the whole world make you understand? You are in danger." I almost shouted at her. "This is not the Avni to whom I befriended. This is a girl I met in my school who never cares for anyone or anything. What happened to you?" I asked calming down and wanted to find what's the reason behind her changing.

"I'm always the same. Its you who differentiate it. And for God's sake leave me . I need to go" she said waving my hands away from her and moved.

But I could not take it when my ladylove is all alone suffering and I simply standing. So I held her hands and pulled her to me.

"Avu, I know you are tensed from yesterday, if you know anything or anyone please say it to me and we need to be careful and say what's troubling you that you are behaving rudely. You can share with me." I said calmly.

But she didn't utter a single word. I pulled her even more closer to me to read her mind which I do usually by seeing her eyes but I couldn't able to find anything.

Her closeness was affecting me very much and I wanted to keep her close to me. I wish the time struck in that second and never move.

"Neil, stop it, I need to go so leave me" she said sternly but her voice was fading. Wait, do I have an effect on her? But she called me Neil for the first time after finding my nick name.

"What you called me just now?" I asked confusedly not knowing whether I should get angry on her for calling me Neil or I should be happy that our closeness have an effect on her.

" See, I dont have time for your nonsense, leave me" she said ignoring my question. No one can win her in argument so I left her after a lot of struggle as I dont want to leave her.

We both moved to our class where everyone are present.

"Where did you guys disappeared?" Ali asked curiously as he also got to know about my love.

"We were just outside and leave that we need to concentrate on project" Avni said ignoring Ali's question.

Avni assigned everyone's work but didn't even look at me for once.

I know something was bothering her but dont know what is it.

After assigning work, she was leaving from there and I silently sneaked out without anyone noticing and followed her.

Our college other end is a thick forest. She moved towards it and i got curious about what she is upto.

She suddenly disappeared in the forest and I started searching for her.

Author's Pov:

Neil was searching for Avni on some other side.

Avni was about to slip but two hands came and held her waist. She got frozen for second and closed her eyes, when she felt a known figure holding her she opened her eyes and looked at the usual brown orbs but for the first time got lost in it. Then she came out of the eyelock and questioned "Tillu, you?!... What are you doing here"

" Yeah, it's me and by the way I can also question you the same" he said with same tone.

While they were about to argue they heard some men walking sound and Avni got alert.

"Why are you acting so weird from the morn..n..." Avni closed his mouth with her hands and held his other hand. Neil was cut off by Avni and was staring at her.

"Tillu, dont speak... We need to hide. we need to find a person, who he is meeting and why? Is that clear" Avni said in a mere tone.

Neil understood the seriousness and stayed silent. Neil felt the man was coming near to them.

He held Avni's hand and slowly moved away from there and hid behind a tree. Neil and Avni held on to each other closely almost hugging and shared a small eyelock.
