Avni,I love you ,Neil said in a sleepy tone by holding on to Avni's waist by standing at her back ,while she was preparing the breakfast for the day .

How cheesy Avni said without even looking at Neil and moving to the other side of the kitchen ,after removing his hands from her waist .

Here I am expressing my love for you and instead of acknowledging it you are mocking me ,not fair Avni ,what kind of wife are you ?huh
He said ,frowning and keeping his arms crossed to his chest .

Neil ,will you please keep quiet for some time .I need to make the breakfast ,please don't disturb me , Avni said in a warning tone .

What happened to wifey in the morning itself ,Neil thought for a while but still not getting any clue why Avni was behaving in such a strange manner .

Neil will you please leave from here , Avni said ,bringing Neil back from his dream world.

Why should I ? mera ghar bhi hain , he said while smiling at her .

Ufff Neil,what should I do with you , Avni said moving out of the kitchen in a jiffy.

But before Avni could leave Neil quickly held her right hand making her stop and turn back to look at him.

What do you want now Neil ? She asked irritated .

I just want to know what happened to my Avni ,as simple as that .If you tell me the reason then it is ok.But if you are still planning to hide things from me ,then let me tell you ,it is not going to end here ,"wifey"  he spoke in a rather serious tone which made Avni understand that she could not hide it from him anymore.

Before Neil could speak anything further ,Avni leapt on to his arms ,holding on to his shirt tightly with her palm and placing her head on his chest ,weeping and sobbing ,making Neil more tensed .

Neil ,mujhse nahi hoga , Avni uttered in between her sobs ,making him more confused .

Avni problem kya hai , Neil said pulling away from the hug anf cupping her cheeks with his arms.

Neil ,main galat kar rahe hooon na.

Matlab yeh hai ki I'm not spending time with you ,I'm not looking after you ,I am not there with you when you come back from work.......
And again she broke into a pool of tears .

Ssshh he said covering her mouth with his hands before she could speak anything more .

Avni,listen.You are my wife but that does not mean that u have to sit idle at home while I go for work. I hope I'm not that typical husband who would always want his wife by his side whenever he returns from work.I do wish to see u in front of my eyes for the whole day,but that is not practical Avni.You also have a future and lot of things to dream about and I'm proud of you ,he said kissing lightly on her forehead.

May be we are not spending time with each other always ,but whenever we are together we make it memorable,right wifey ?

Avni simply smiled in response to Neil's question .

And there are many advantages of you being a lawyer ,I often get to see you ,hain na he said winking at her while she playfully hit him.

While Avni continued working in the kitchen Neil held her hand all of a sudden.

Without even answering her ,he started walking towards the living room while avni kept on asking him the reason and our Neil being himself kept quiet all the while .

Baitho he finally spoke shocking the hell out of Avni.

Avni please sit down .

Teek hai she thus sat down on the nearby sofa while Neil sat close to her ,still holding her hand .

Close your eyes Avni , he said looking at her deeply.

Aankhein kholo na Avni ,please.

Avni simply couldn't say no to his puppy face ,so without speaking further she closed her eyes.

Now take a deep breathe and then breathe out ,he instructed and Avni did as said just like an obedient student .

The breathing exercise continued for a few minutes and when Neil felt that Avni had calmed down, he told her to open her eyes.

How are you feeling now .

Bahut achha ,thank you Neil, I love you .

Without waiting for his answer she kissed him lightly on his lips ,shocking the hell out of him.

Avni ,don't give me heart attacks like this Neil spoke while checking Avni's pulse and heart beat.

Neil ,kya kar rahe ho she asked not understanding  his intention .

I was just checking whether you were normal because this kind of things can never be expected from an unromantic wife like you  he said ,chuckling in between.

She hugged him in happiness while Neil pulled her closer to himself.
