Avni stood in the cliff from where Juhi had got shot thinking about the series of events that had happened ever since Juhi was on gun point and had been shot ,but not by her.She was not getting answers to the series of questions tht were running through her mind these 2 days.She was sure tht she didn't shoot Juhi, then who must have done tht.She was also tensed regarding Mishti's safety.Eventhough Neil assured her tht he would find Mishti,she was still not sure about it.Mishti had become part of her family, like Neil and her other family members.But now ,all of a sudden when her life had slowly began to become normal,a big storm came into her life in the form of Vidyut who slowly swallowed all the happiness from her life ,taking her family away from her.This was something she had never expected to happen.When she had seen Mishti also falling down along with Juhi she had experienced an unknown fear ,a fear which had stopped haunting her after her mother's death.She wanted to find Mishti as soon as possible and also needed to find evidences for Juhi's death and if not she would be arrested for Juhi's death and the honours would have to be done by her husband Acp Neil Khanna, which she can't even think of.She know tht Neil would never be able to do tht ,to arrest Avni because he had started loving her now.
Avni stood there just like tht for sometime caught in a cluster of thoughts.She did not realise when her leg had slipped and she was about to fall.She panicked all of a sudden and she was not understanding what exactly had happened for her to slip.As she looked around to hold onto something strong, she suddenly felt a strong pull in her hands and the next moment she was pulled strongly and as she was about to fall again a strong pair of hands held onto her waist.Though she closed her eyes,she could sense the strong pair of hands tht had clutched onto her waist ,firmly.Slowly she opened her eyes only to see a pair of hazel brown eyes gazing at her intently.She was caught in his gaze and therefore was unable to look here and there because of the intensity of his eyes.She become scared further when he didn't stop looking at her.She wanted to talk to him but not even a single word was coming from her mouth.Finally seeing tht Neil won't stop gazing at her unless she say something, she started the conversation.

Avni:Neil, please kuch bolo.

Neil still didn't utter anything and this worried Avni further.Slowly he moved his hands from her waist and made her stand properly.Then as he was about to go ,Avni held onto his hand all of a sudden.

Avni:Neil pls don't go ,pls meri baat toh suno.

Neil immediately turned back to look at Avni and held onto her arms tightly thus shaking her.

Neil:Kyun sunu main tumhari baat,kyun sunu.

Avni:Neil i know tht I should not have come here,but think from my side also,I had no other way.

Neil:Who am I to u?

Avni was confused to hear tht.What did Neil mean ?

Neil:Avni I'm asking u again, who am I to u?

Avni:Tum mere pati ho.

Neil:U are sure about tht.

Avni:Tumhara matlab kya hai Neil, why are u speaking like this ,ho kya gaya tumhe.

Neil:Mujhe kuch nahi hoga but something has happened to u.I don't have anything more to tell u Avni ,so main bas chalti hoon.

Avni:Neil,u still didn't come to the point.

Neil:Nothing Avni, it does not matter .

Avni:Neil yeh nadak bandh karoo.

Neil tightened his grip on Avni and said " So u think tht I was doing a drama ,first of all u came here and what do u think u were doing here ,jawaaab do.

Avni:Neil I promise, maine kuch galati toh nahi kiya,tumhe mujhpar bharosa nahi hai.

Neil:This is not the question of me trusting u or not avni,but kyun tum yaha par aayi hai ,I will believe what u said ,but what if u were seen by some other police officers ,do u even realise what u were doing, u just crossed the "do not cross" line put up by the police,u will definitely be suspected for destroying the evidence, do u even realise the seriousness of it Avni,bolo.

Avni:I'm sorry Neil, please mujhe maaf kardo ,I just came here to see if I could get some clue and I didn't realise tht it would cause this much trouble, I'm really sorry Neil.

Avni started crying.Neil couldn't tolerate Avni's tears so he just hugged her.He caressed her back and kissed on her hair.

Neil:Ssshh Avni, rona bandh karoo,main tumhe kuch nahi hone dunga,I promise u that.

Neil's POV

I know that Avni that u haven't done any mistake, but I have to arrest u as all the evidences are against u or else u will be in the hands of that Vidyut,par main yeh sab kaise karoon, I can't do tht Avni, I can't,I can't live without u even for a second and I also can't put your life in danger.I promise u Avni that I'll soon find a solution for this.

Neil pulled away from the hug and kept his hands on Avni's shoulders.Avni was still looking down and tears were still flowing from her eyes.Neil gently held onto her chin and made her face him.

Neil:Avni look at me ,I know tht u haven't done any wrong, but all the evidences are against u and I will have to.....

Before Neil could complete his sentence Avni said
"You will have to arrest me ,right.

Neil didn't expect Avni to know what he was about to tell.But now he understood tht she could understand what was in his mind before he even told her tht.

Avni:I know Neil, this is what u wanted to tell me right,it is your duty, but atleast u believe me,so it's kind of ok.

Neil knew tht Avni was trying hard to control her tears from coming out this time.He knew tht she said like this because she didn't want to put him in distress.

Neil :Nahi Avni, tht won't happen ,before tht I will find the actual culprits.

Avni:But how Neil, u have just a few days time and do u think tht u will be able to find the actual culprit within tht time period.

Neil(in mind): I know the culprit Avni, now the only thing I have to do is tht I have to find evidences against him and I hope tht to happen very soon.

Avni:Neil, par ...

Neil:Do u trust me?

Avni:More than myself.

Neil:Then chalo mere saath.

Neil intertwined his hands with tht of Avni's and started to walk forward.Avni also followed him believing his words.Both of them got into the car and Neil drove off.As they were on the way Avni asked Neil where they were going.

Neil:To my bachelor pad.

Avni:Why are we going there ,aren't we supposed to go to Khanna house.

Neil:Now we are going to my bachelor pad and thts final.

Sensing the strictness in Neil's voice,Avni kept quiet till they reached the place.As soon as they reached there Neil got off the car first ,opened the door of the car for Avni and then walked inside holding her hand.

The whole apartment was in a mess.Neil immediately cleared the clothes tht was all lieing in the bedroom and arranged everything in the cupboard.Avni also helped him and they cleared the whole mess in an hour.After such a tiring task both of them were exhausted.

Neil:Avni,do u know y I brought here.

Avni looked at him confused and before she could answer Neil said
"Because this is the last day tht we both are going to spend together"

Avni was shocked to hear tht.

Avni:Tumhara matlab kya hai Neil, this means..

Neil:From tomorrow onwards you are going to stay with neela maa,and one more thing ,u should not call me or text me from your number but from a new number.

Neil handed over a new phone with a new sim to Avni.

Neil:And remember tht, none should know about this new number other than u,me and Neela maa.

Seeing Avni confused again,Neil said

"Neela maa knows about it ,I told her ,she has the right to know the truth so I told her".

Avni:So tht means I won't be able to see u again.

Neil:Hmm yes ,but it is only a matter of few days Avni and then we will again be together.

Avni:Neil can I hug u .

Neil: Offcourse.

Avni hugged Neil keeping her hands on his chest.Neil just held more closer to him gently playing with her hair and caressing her back.After a while seeing tht Avni was not moving from tht position he said " Avni ,so shall we sleep"

Avni:Hmm.

She pulled away from the hug and got onto her side of the bed.Neil lied down just close to her and he put his left arm around her waist and entwined his hand and her right hand together. Avni's left hand stayed in its right place, on Neil's chest.Slowly they drifted into sleep .

Next day morning

Neil  was the first one to wake up.As soon as he opened his eyes he glanced at Avni who was sleeping next to him cuddling him as if he was her teddy bear.Neil slowly removed the bed sheet from  Avni's face and shaked her.

Neil:Avni ,utho.

Still there was no response from Avni.He called her for several times and finally she resounded "Neil let me sleep a little more ,pls.

This irritated Neil.

Neil:Fine,u sleep till u want, I'm going.

As he was about to go Avni pulled him by his hands and as a result Neil fell over Avni.Avni immediately opened her eyes when she felt a weight on her bed and was shocked to see Neil so close her.

Neil(in his husky voice):Avni

Avni:Hmm

Neil:Mera biwi bahut khoobsurat lagti ho.

Avni:Neil, y are u saying this now.

Neil:Because it is morning and also the best time to romance.

Avni's cheeks turned all red on hearing tht.

Avni:Neil,don't try to flirt with me.

Neil(with an irritated look):What kind of wife are u Avni,here husband is so hot and romantic and u are disturbing his mood also.

Avni gently pecked Neil's lips and then said
"So my hot and cute husband, pls get up from bed now, or else we will be late and do u want tht to happen".

This brought back Neil's attention but he didn't forget to give Avni a peck on her lips before getting up from the bed and Avni looked at him smiling in a peaceful way and this made Neil happy.

Avni pushed Neil to the bathroom because she knew tht he was not going to go unless she forced him to do so.Soon both of them got ready and got into to the car and drove off to Neela maa's house.

At Neela maa's house

Neil and Avni were sitting in the living room along with Neela maa.

Neela:Neil, I think it's better if u leave now,otherwise our plan won't work.

Neil:Haa Neela maa u are right  (then looking at Avni):Avni I'm going.

Avni:Teek hai Neil.

She just hugged him and Neil also reciprocated.Afterwards he left from there while Avni stood near the gate watching him leave,teary eyed.

Avni:Maa,can I never get any happiness in life ,why is God always punishing me like this, taking all my loved ones away from me.

Neela:Aisa kuch nahi hai baccha,y are u saying like that, don't worry, Neil will be back very soon and this time to take u home to never leave u again even for a second ,tumhe tumhari maa par vishwas nahi hai bacha.

Avni:Par,maa.

Neela:Enough is enough Avni, now let us go inside.

Without even letting Avni to answer neela maa literally dragged her inside after closing the gate.

In Neil's bachelor pad

Neil(in phone):DD,I want all the phone call details of Vidyut R, ok.

DD:Yes sir.

Neil cut the call and said in mind:You will soon be caught Vidyut .

After a while ,Neil heard the calling bell ring.He went and opened the door and thought it to be DD with the call details,but it was not DD but Vidyut.

Vidyut: What happened Acp Neil Khanna,shocked or scared.

Vidyut smirked looking at Neil.

Neil:Mr.Vidut R,what are u doing in my house.

Vidyut:Sorry Acp if i disturbed, I just came to remember about our deal once again.

Neil:What deal?

Vidyut: Don't act now, I know tht u haven't forgotten it but still it is my responsibility to remind u of it.Hope u didn't forget it.

Neil understood tht Vidyut was talking about Avni.

Neil(controlling his anger): Offcourse Vidyut, how can I forget tht,don't worry, I haven't forgotten ,so would u pls mind to leave my house now.

Vidyut:Not now Acp.

Neil:What do u mean?

Vidyut barged inside the bachelor pad and sat inside one of the chairs.Neil could just watch all this in a shocked face.He did not understand what Vidyut was going to do.

Vidyut:So Acp, tell me when are u going to close the deal.

Neil:First of all,Vidyut let me tell u tht my wife is not a property to be sold,she is a human being with her own emotions ,so I can't ensure u about that.

Vidyut:If tht is so ,then I will have to take some serious steps ,I hope u understand what I mean.

Vidyut left from there closing the door behind him.Neil locked the door and sat in the bed thinking what to do next and tht is when DD called him.

DD:Sir ,I got the details.

Neil:Ok DD, I need it as fast as possible, but not in police station.

DD:Ok sir.

Soon DD came to the bachelor pad and handed over Neil the call details.Neil checked each and every details of it and found out tht Vidyut had called Juhi just a few minutes before her death and Juhi's last call was also to Vidyut.

Neil's POV

Only a few more evidences and soon it is time to end your game, Mr.Vidyut R.

Neil got ready and went to the police station.By the time he reached ,DD was already there.

Neil:DD we need to tht cliff where Juhi got shot.

DD:But sir,isn't the search over there.

Neil:No DD.

DD didn't ask anything further.Both of them left to the cliff soon.

At the cliff

Neil and DD reached there very soon to search the place in the hope of finding some evidences.Neil started investigating the place where Juhi stood just before she got shot.As he had started to lose hope of getting any evidence and tht is when DD called him "Sir".

Neil went near DD who was standing a little away from the cliff near a bush.

DD:Sir,come with me.

Neil looked at DD who was leading him into the forest.

"DD where are u taking me to?"Neil asked ,confused.

DD didn't utter a single word ,but instead gestured Neil to follow him.They moved further interior into the forest and DD pointed his hands to a particular direction and Neil was shocked to see the person before him."Ballu" he exclaimed.Neil moved further forward and caught him by his collars.His eyes were full of rage for the person standing before him.

Neil:Y are u here?

Ballu:Sir pls listen to what I want to say ,I'm not here to trouble u but to help u.

Neil:Do u think I will believe u?,once u tried to harm my Avni, and is baar main tumhe chodunga nahi.

Ballu:Sir I know tht u won't be able to believe me and so I have come with a proof.

Ballu took his phone and showed Neil the video of Vidyut shooting Juhi and how he cunningly he escaped from there without even anyone finding him.

Ballu:Sir pls save me,he will kill me.

Neil:Hmm,let me think.

Ballu:Sir pls, I will do whatever u say ,I'll confess all my crimes before the court ,I'm even ready to go to jail for tht,but pls save me from tht monster.

Neil:Hmm ok we will give u police protection but before tht ...

(Turning to DD):DD, take his statement and record it ,these two evidences are enough to prove tht Vidyut killed Juhi and thus we can prove Avni innocent.

Neil:And Ballu tell me exactly what happened.

Ballu tells Neil about the whole incident about how Mishti was kidnapped by Vidyut, how Vidyut and Juhi wanted to separate him and Avni and also how he had tried to harm Avni earlier in the jungle and finally about how Juhi got shot.Neil clenched his fists on hearing tht ballu attempted to harm his Avni again.He controlled himself and the next second he ordered DD to take Ballu to the police station.

Neil:DD take him from here,I don't want to see his face again.

Now the task was easy for Neil.He immediately made a phone call to the commissioner and informed him of the entire scenario.The commissioner thoroughly appreciated him for finding the culprit very fast and tht too with enough evidences.

The next day was a big day for Neil.Vidyut was arrested in the noon and was produced before the court in the evening.Ballu confessed all his crimes and was also sent to jail along with Vidyut but with less years of imprisonment.All this while Neil stayed with Avni, holding her and assuring her that he was always with her.Avni could only smile at Neil for loving her, for believing her.
