Neil went to his house to talk to his Mom. 

"Mom! Mom!" Neil searched for his Mom. 

"Calm down Tillu. What happens?" Shweta asked.

" Actually I came to talk about my marriage. I am ready." He said monotonously.

"Really? I am so happy Tillu. Come on I will show you the pic of the girl." Shweta was too excited. 

"Mom, Mom.. Wait.. I believe in your choice. I don't wanna see the pic. It's OK. You just let me know about preparations and meetings." Neil said distractedly. 

"Ok. I will fix the meeting. You just be ready." Shweta said.

"And Mom. I will be staying here from now." Neil gave his Mom another surprise. 

He was not ready to face Avni again. And going to that apartment was like living all those moments again...

"Wow Tillu.. Are you OKs?? You are giving me shock after shock today." Shweta intrigued. 

"Yup Mom I m ok.. I am in my room. Just inform me about the plan." Neil said and went to his room. 

He wanted sometime alone.

In Mehta house-

"Hetal, have you informed Avni?" Dayawanti asked.

"No Maa." Hetal replied. 

"Call her and tell her there is some important function at home. And have you bought any dress for her?"

Dayawanti asked again. 

"I will inform her. And yes Ma, I have bought a dress for her. " Hetal said with a smile. 

"We all know, that girl do not take care of herself. And she wouldn't have any proper dress for family functions. She has distanced herself from us. And somewhere it's my fault too. I will try to mend our relationship. I will bring my Avni back. " Dayawanti said with moist eyes. 

"Maa, Khanna's will be here tomorrow by 6 p.m." Hetal informed.

"Ok go and start preparing for tomorrow. They are coming to see our daughter. And above all Neil is perfect to become our son-in-law. " Dayawanti said, excitement visible in her voice.

Hetal nodded and went to make preparation. Avni was informed. At first she was denying but they said that without her the function will not be held. So, she agreed.

Next day, around 6 p.m-

At Khanna house -

"Tillu,  are you ready? " Shweta asked. 

"Yes Maa. I am ready." Neil said without any excitement. 

He was still thinking about Avni. She was the first and last thing on his mind. He questioned himself whether he is doing the right thing to that girl or not. But then he has to do this for his family. He has to forget about Avni. And he has to inform that girl about his past.

Khanna's got ready and went for Mehta house. Neil was unaware of the place where he was going. 

At Mehta House-

"Avni, Rhea,  Amol, are you all ready?" Hetal asked them from the hall. 

They all said," Yes Maa.. We all are ready. "

They came downstairs. 

Avni was looking fab in her traditional attire. In her golden lehnga with curly hair, half up half down. 

Rhea was as usual looking sexy in her off shoulder gown and open hair.

Amol was too looking handsome in his formal suit pant.

"Rhea, I am here only because of you. If it was not for you I would not have been here." Avni said Rhea with bored expression. 

"Babes, chill.. This is my day. And you are my lovely sister plus best friend. You have to look enthusiastic. After this function we will go to club. You have your sexy dresses here na?" Rhea was too excited.

(But deep down she was sad. She doesn't want to marry Neil. She doesn't even know him. She was in love with Ali. She hid this from everyone. Because for her, family is first. And if she getting married to Neil makes everyone happy then she was ready to sacrifice her love.)

Yup, Khanna's were coming too see her for Neil. 

Well, Avni was unaware of the fact that it was Khanna's who were coming.

" Yup, I have kept few dresses here. In case I want to sneak out from this prison. " Avni said with a laugh. 

"Avni, You should talk to Dadi. She keep remembering you." Rhea said ensuring Avni. 

"No Rhea. She hates me. She still think that I am the reason for that accident. " Avni's mood was spoiled remembering that incident. 

"Avni, come on. Don't remember that incident on this day. And please don't spoil your mood. Let's go they can be here any time." Rhea said pulling Avni in the hall.

Here Khanna's reached Mehta house.

Neil was confused to see where he was. Then reality hit him hard. Did his parents selected Avni to be his bride? At first he felt extremely happy but then he thought Avni not even bothered to tell him that she was getting engaged and she will be furious when she comes to know that Neil is the groom.

But above all he was happy. Happy that he has a chance. He can make Avni fall in love with her. He will give all the love in the world to her. She will be healed by him.

He has a toothy grin on his face when he was walking to the gate. 

"Why are you smiling so wide Tillu?" Shweta asked Neil.

"Nothing Mom. You are just best. You knew where my happiness lies. " Neil said excitedly. 

"Ohhh. I m so happy that you are happy. " Shweta said.

They went inside the house. Hetal welcomed them. They started introducing every member.

Avni saw Neil and was dumbstruck. Neil was the guy with whom Rhea was about to get married. She was feeling betrayed. How Neil can do this to her. He said he loves her and here he was getting married to her sister. 

Neil saw Avni and was extremely happy. He was in his own illusion about getting married to Avni. 

Their eyes met. Avni's eyes reflected betrayal and sadness while Neil's eyes reflected love and happiness. 

Neil frowned at this.

There eyelock was broken by family's interruption. 

"Tillu come here. Meet your would be wife Rhea. " Shweta said introducing Rhea to Neil.

Neil got shocked. Here he was thinking that Avni is his bride and the table has turned. 

Rhea said hi to Neil with faking a smile. She has seen Neil eyeing Avni and the happiness which reflected his eyes. She knew there is something going in between AvNeil.

She decided to find it out.

"What?" Neil voiced his confusion. 

"What? What? We are here to see Rhea. " Shweta said.

Neil turned to see Avni. But she was not there.

His eyes scanned the room to find her but she was nowhere to be seen.

"Mom I want to talk to Rhea. " Neil said.

"Of course Tillu. Don't be impatient. Afterall this meeting is all about you two." Shweta laughed.

"Rhea take Neil to the poolside. You both need to know each other. " Dayawanti said.

Rhea went ahead and Neil followed her. When they were out of sight from their families, Neil stopped Rhea.

"Rhea I m sorry. I can't betray you. I love Avni. And she rejected my proposal. I accepted this proposal only for my family happiness. But when I came to Mehta house I was too happy that Avni is the bride. But she is not. And she is your sister. I have to tell you about this. " Neil said without any break.

"Neil I have seen you looking at Avni with love filled eyes. And she also loves you but she is in denial. We have to make her realise her love for you. Plus she is just scared. She has many insecurities regarding love. And i know you will make her believe in love again. And above all I also love someone else. I was doing this just for my family happiness. " Rhea explained to Neil.

"Thank you Rhea for understanding me. Can you tell me where is Avni ." Neil asked Rhea.

"She must be in garden, near poolside. You go talk to her. I will make some excuse to the family. " Rhea said and went from there.

Neil sprinted towards garden. He found Avni sitting on the swing. He went there and sat near her.

"What are you doing here? Please go away Neil. I don't wanna see you." Avni said without any emotions. 

"Avni. Why are you doing this to both of us? Just give me a chance. " Neil said.

"Neil, I don't want to embarrass my family. They have chosen you for Rhea. And this is for everyone's happiness. After this marriage I will go from here so that you can live your life happily. Move on. You don't need a girl like me. Rhea is good for you. She is lovely, innocent and mature. You will start loving her once you come to know her. She is the best." Avni said and stood up to go from there.

Neil was about to stop her when Amol comes there. 

"Guys, everyone is looking for you both. Come soon." He said and went from there. 

Avni too went behind him.

"Rhea may be the best but not for me. For me you are everything Avni. I can't let you go. Not now not ever." Neil said with determination.

He went inside and tried to act all normal. Now he will make her realise her love for him. This was his new mission.

Neil went inside. Everyone was talking and laughing. Rhea and Avni both were sitting together. And at the both side of them seat was empty. Neil walked towards them, his eyes focused only on Avni. Avni was getting nervous about what Neil was going to do. Neil came near her then moved to Rhea and sat beside her.

He started talking to Rhea sweetly and laughed at her jokes. Family members were also happy watching them mingling together. 

Here Avni was fuming. 

"This man is so shameless. He had s*x with me and talking so sweetly with my sister. I knew it he doesn't love me. If he would have then he has made an effort for me. He is talking to Rhea like he knew her forever. And see his guts he is ignoring me so well. I will kill him." Avni was thinking all this while clinching her jaw.

Neil was stealing glances of Avni and was happy that his plan was working. 

"Soon you will confess your love for me Ms. Avni Mehta. I will make sure of that." Neil said it to himself and smirked. 

When dinner was over, Avni went to Hetal and said," Ma.. I m going back to apartment. I have work tomorrow." 

Shweta was there only. She thought "This girl is so hard working. And beautiful too. Why didn't I seen her first."

But what has to be done was done. She can't do anything now. And Neil is also happy with Rhea. 

Neil heard Avni saying that she was going to her apartment. He thought it's right time to talk to her.

Avni changed her clothes and bid everyone good night and went away.

After sometime Neil went to his Mom.

"Mom, I have some important work in my department tomorrow. And all my important files are in my apartment. I have to send them tonight only. You all Enjoy . I should go now." Neil said. 

"Ok. But come back tomorrow. I will make your favourite dish." Shweta replied. 

Neil also bid good bye to everyone and went for his apartment. Actually not for his but for her apartment. 

Neil reached her door and knocked three times.

Avni opened the door and glared at him. She was fuming with anger. Scenes of him with Rhea laughing and talking flashed infront of her eyes.

She grabbed him by his collar inside the apartment and attached her lips to his. At first he was shocked but when he realised that Avni was really kissing him, he kissed her back. He kicked the door close.

Avni was dominating tonight. She pushed him back to the door and kissed him harshly. She was releasing all her pent up anger in that kiss. It was harsh yet showed her love. This time she won the mouth game.

She was becoming impatient. She just wanted his body contact. She removed his blazer hastily and tore down his shirt. Unbottoning would have taken her lot of time. She was roaming her palm all over his chest. She started kissing him all over his body. 

Neil was happy yet confused at her reaction. Few hours ago she was saying him to move on and now she was all over him. What was going in her mind?

Neil detached Avni from his body and cupped her face.

"Hey, what happened? You can tell me." Neil asked with concern. 

She doesn't replied just hugged him tightly. And Neil could feel his chest getting wet.

"Hey, hey.. It's OK.. It's OK... Everything gonna be ok. I m here with you na.. I m not going anywhere. Avni, look at me baby. I m here. Your Neil is here." Neil said making her look at him.

Avni's eyes were moist and her lips were trembling. 

"Promise me? You will not go anywhere.. You will not leave me alone. I was so scared. I thought I lost you." Avni said like a child.

"I promise you, baba. I am here only. I m not going anywhere. But remember you only said at your house that I should move on." Neil said to her like he was dealing with a baby.

"I was stupid. I m an idiot. You should have fought for me. But you were laughing and talking with Rhea. I was angry. But when I came back here, I wasn't able to take you out of my mind. Wherever I go I just see you there. Here at sofa, in the kitchen, in my bedroom and even in the bathroom. And then I remembered my Mumma's words that 'if you love someone you will always think about them and care about them, will share each and every details to them and if you do not do it you will feel incomplete.' I missed you so much. I was not able to sleep at night. I think I am falling for you." Avni said all this looking directly in Neil's eyes.

Neil's happiness knew no bound. His love was not one sided. Love of his life Avni, loves him back.

He hugged her tightly. 

"I have fallen for you long ago Avni. I love you so so so much." Neil said showering his kisses on her face.

Avni was finally feeling light hearted. She was extremely happy. But then she remembered about their families. 

" Neil, our family? " Avni asked. 

" Don't worry about mine. They will understand. And actually Rhea too didn't want to marry me. She loves someone else. I will talk to your family too." Neil assured her.

Avni was surprised to know that Rhea was marrying under family pressure. She has to talk to her family regarding that. But before that she has to complete the work which she has started. 

Without any further warning, Avni crashed her lips to Neil's. 

And we all know what happened after that.

In the morning -

"Good Morning, My Love. "Neil said waking Avni up.

"Neil, let me sleep for five more minutes. You didn't let me sleep last night. " Avni said sleeply.

A wide smile stretched on Neil's face as he remembered last night. Finally they were together. 

Neil just wanted to go and ask his parents and Avni's parents about their marriage. He was growing impatient. 

"Avni, please wake up na. We have to talk to our families too." Neil tried to wake her up again.

"Neil that's your job. Go and do it. And come back after that. I m not letting you go anywhere for two days." Avni said and again fall asleep. 

"Oh god, Things I do for this girl. Ohhh I love her so much." Neil said admiring Avni's face.

He got ready and went to his family first. 

"Mom, I can't do this. I will not marry Rhea. I don't love her." Neil said bluntly. 

"What? Tillu you were looking so happy yesterday. And now you can't back out. You said you will marry. " Shweta said in warning tone.

"Meri Pyaari Maa.. I will marry but not Rhea. I love someone else. And you know her." Neil said holding his mother. 

"Who's that girl. I don't remember. Tell me fast." Shweta said impatiently. 

"Mom it's a Mehta only. I love Avni. I have known her for 6 months. We were good friends. And now I love her. She lives in my apartment building only. " Neil cleared his Mom's doubt.

"Wow, that's great. But what about Rhea? That girl was so happy yesterday. " Shweta was lil concerned for Rhea. 

"I will talk to her and her family. You inform Dad and Bebe. " Neil said and went to convince Mehta's. 

"Dadi, I am sorry. But i can't marry Rhea. Sorry Hetal aunty." Neil apologised. 

"But Neil beta, you were looking so happy yesterday. And what's wrong with Rhea? " Dayawanti asked Neil.

"Dadi, Rhea is very sweet and lovely. But i love someone else. And i can't live without her. I will be destroying Rhea's life by marrying her. And i can't do this to her." Neil make them understand. 

"I understand beta. But you should talk to Rhea too. She will not take this news happily. By the way who's that lucky girl to get you?" Dayawanti asked.

"That's your another Granddaughter Avni." Neil said.

Dayawanti and Hetal was shocked. 

"But how? You met her yesterday only." Hetal asked. 

"Actually we live in the same building and I met her 6 months ago. And i fell in love with her broken heart. But she was scared to accept my love. Yesterday she realised it and accepted my love. " Neil said remembering her confession. 

Dayawanti and Hetal were happy for Avni. Finally she was healing and all thanx to Neil. 

"But beta, go and talk to Rhea too." Hetal advised him.

Neil went to Rhea and hugged her.

"Thank you so much Rhea. I am greatful to you. You are very understanding. That man is lucky to get your love. By the way who's that lucky guy?" Neil asked. 

"Ali, owner of Chamko Cafe and mine and Avni's childhood best friend." Rhea said.

"You are that girl about whom Ali keep talking whenever I go to his cafe." Neil asked.

"You know Ali? " Rhea asked. 

"He is my best buddy. He always said that he will introduce you as his wife. But never got the chance. I am happy for you both." Neil said.

"And i m happy for you and Avni. " Rhea said.

Neil bid her good bye and went to his love.

Avni was still sleeping. 

He jumped on the bed and hugged Avni tightly. Avni was startled by this.

"All done." Neil said with triumph in his voice.

"Really " Avni asked unbelievably. 

"Yes my dear. All done." Neil said smiling widely. 

Avni kissed him out of excitement and then they had their another best moment of life.

And Our Hero and Heroine lived happily ever after. And of course there must be some hurdles in their life too. Coz life is not always happy go lucky type. But when two broken souls got healed by each other, they will face any difficulty together and will tackle them together.
