You held your favorite pillow close and tightly. Your grip only grew stronger as you heard the front door open, the clatter of keys, the bang of something hard hitting a table, and the sigh of someone you didn't exactly want to see at the moment. You hid under the bed, taking the pillow with you and buried your face in the cushioned fabric. You heard a frustrated groan as the door to your room swung open and someone collapsed on your bed.

"Damn Deku..." you heard them mutter in anger. You didn't want to bother them so you kept quiet. You couldn't help but think about what you just imagined and you teared up. Burying your face in the pillow once more, you tried to stay quiet. You shed so much tears that you passed out without realizing, just in time for the realization to hit.

"Huh...? Where's my damn pillow.." the voice muttered. "She didn't put it somewhere, did she..?" The angry explosion boy started searching your place for the pillow he'd always rest on whenever he visited. He was hoping he could give you a little surprise to come home to, since he'd been on patrol the night before and didn't get to see you.

It took him around an hour or two to finally return to the room and looked under the bed. That was when he found you. Sleeping and giving a pillow the death grip. HIS pillow.

"Teddy Bear?" The spiky-haired hothead gently reached out for you and pulled you out from under the bed, trying not to wake you. He placed you on the bed and tried to crawl over you. Your eyes slowly opened to see THE Bakugou Katsuki hovering over you.

"K-Katsuki!" you exclaim. He flinched, but quickly sighed.

"Hey... why were you under the bed and holding my pillow like it's the last thing in Hell?"

"What're you doing here?"

"Answer my question first." He growled softly. You hesitated, not wanting to worry him, but you knew he'd pry it out of you one way or another.

"..... Do.... Am I a burden..?" you asked, still hesitant. His expression changed in an instant.

"What, no. Of course not. Who the hell put that idea in your head? I'll blow em to pieces!" he looked at the door behind him, raising a hand as he prepared an explosion.

"N-no no! It was just on my mind! No one... no one told me off." You lied. He turned his attention back towards you and got close.

"Fine.. but if anyone..." he cupped your face. "And I mean anyone... ever tries to put you down.... Please tell me.." he closed his eyes and kissed you. It was gentler than usual. He was being serious.

"I know..." You closed your eyes as he put his forehead against your own.

"Hey... you don't have to ever feel like a burden... you could never be a burden to me. If you were I wouldn't give you the time of day." You chuckled as his remark, making him smirk a little.

"But I'm always depressed or at least acting like it and I'm never sure about anything and—"

"Hey. Stop talking sh*t about yourself. You don't get to put down the bada** I love." You were surprised. He rarely ever said 'love' despite being open about his emotions and when he did, he was only ever referring to you and that always made you smile. "S-so... accept it, alright? And let me prove it to you.." he whispered that last sentence before smiling a little and softly kissing your neck, knowing it would make you laugh a little before you started really feeling it. He wasn't wrong, but neither of you wanted to do anything other than cuddle and maybe watch something scary.

"Hungry?"

"Already ate." You decline.

"Good. But tomorrow I'm spending the day with you. Which means Breakfast is mine to make, got it?"

"Fine by me, Pomeranian Chef." You teased, knowing he'd get annoyed. You felt him tense up, but he relaxed within a few seconds.

"Shut up, you stupid nerd..."
