Valt Aoi slowly squint his tired eyes only to find a vast of dark abyss all around his vision - It's so dark that he's not sure if his eyes are close or open.

"W-where I am?" he mutter out loud that echo around the silent area.

It was so dark until a white smoke slowly appear in his sight as a figure of a silhouette human start to form, slowly walking towards him as he recognised him as a boy.

His eyes widen in surprise, a shiver ran down on his spine, he could feel his sins crawling on his skin.

In front of him is a boy that look exactly like him with a difference of eyes color

"W-who are you?" Valt ask stuttering as his counterpart smile wickedly showing his small sharp fangs that make him gulp in fear as he could feel clearly the evil and dark aura rising upon on him

Confused hazelnut eyes meet devious glowing blue eyes with promising vengeance

His counterpart walks towards him, every step he take seems to synchronized with each beat of his heart, and the place around him start to light up only with midnight blue dim light with thick white fog crawling on the floor. The new scary scene doesn't make him comfortable

And now it was now cleared and he found himself in a big silver cage where he is inside.

He feels like a prisoner

Valt hold the bars to make sure it's real but it is. He quickly look around to find a way out but there is nothing.

His counterpart put up a seemingly innocent smile but lace with poison that make his stomach feel dreadful

"Don't you remember me Valt? I am your sadness that you hide, the anger you suppress in short your dark side. My name is Blue You're the one who name me that when were kids right~?"

Valt doesn't know how to respond as if his tongue was taken away and the only thing he can do right now is to let the information sink in into his mind.

He can't believe on what he's hearing but for some reason deep inside he know he's telling the truth as he start to understand what is really happening.

Old memories flash before his sight as he start to recognize this person... Rather his old close friend and second personality

Only the Aoi Family know this secret that Valt has a split personality that develop due to bullying of old classmates that give him trauma of his childhood.

"W-what do you want?" Valt manged to say despite heavy feeling on his throat.

His dark side smile and take another step forward and put out his cold right hand on his face and make him face straight to the eye.

Valt can feel the temperature dropping drastically and he's doesn't know if it was from the pale hands holding up his face or those sinister glowing blue eyes that look like staring directly on his soul

"What I want? It's really simple~ let's destroy that traitor bastard: Red Eye!"

His eyes widen in shock as his counterpart smirk sadistically and let go of his face that left him speechless.

Then another thing caught on his eyes when another silhouette form infront of him that take the form of... Shu?

Valt realised Blue created a illusion

Here it is, Shu or rather Red Eye standing with strong confidence and mirth while holding proudly his bey: Requiem Spryzen

Then something unexpected happened as his bey shattered in pieces as Red Eye fall down on his face with the look of utter lose and being destroyed

The dark counterpart smirk grow wider when he see the wonder and new spark in those innocent hazelnut eyes

"What a beautiful scene isn't it~" He chirp while watching Valt reaction

Meanwhile, Valt look at the unique scene cast in front of him as he feel shock and... pleasure?

'No no no! Valt don't fall into temptation no matter what happen!' the bluenette scream his in thoughts while shaking his head, giving Blue a unsatisfied reaction

"No it's not! I would not allow you to do that!" Valt shout that surprisingly make Blue flinch from shock and hurt.

Blue react sadly not because of his denial but because he shout at him.

The evil counterpart gritted his teeth in frustration 'That damn Kurenai, why does Valt care about him so much!?' he thought irritatedly

Valt rapidly shake his head agim to make those creepy feelings disappear to the disappointed of his evil counterpart

Blue take a deep sigh and look seriously at Valt "Why not? listen to me carefully Valt" his tone change into strict and serious voice that make Valt span his attention to him quickly.

"I'm giving you a life changing offer, Valt. I know what you feel better than anyone. Let me give you the freedom" Blue spoke while gesturing the cage he's in.

Valt frown while listening intently "Hey! I have a freedom!" He shout and Blue snort at his ridiculous answer as another flash of memories play

People telling him what he should do and shouldn't, telling him stop being childish, start to be mature already, stop being annoying and become a proper blader.

He never argue back, No, he can't argue back.

No one can notice his anguish, Only Blue does.

The bluenette realise the cage he's in belong to his subconscious, meaning, this represent his lack of freedom.

Valt become silent as Blue continue speaking

"Let's get revenge to those people who underestimate you, treat you like trash and take advantage of your kindness! Show them your not weak because you are powerful~!"

Blue smiles widen as he put up his hands in the air as spotlight play in his back showing Valt being in the top where people fear him and no one would ever dare to insult him

Valt shake his head "I don't like that!"

He can't do that, even his mind is telling him he want it, his heart is disagreeing

The battle between brain and heart is really annoying.

Blue eyes twitch at his answer and trying to have a long patience as he goes on

"Don't you wanna get away from this pain? I got what you need, so come with me and I will take you to the other side where you will achieve your freedom"

Blue said proudly at his offer hoping valt would definitely accept his terms.

Valt would be lying if he said he wasn't interested or tempted at the offer.

But no matter how Shu got evil. Betraying his trust, leaving him behind, lying to him, breaking his heart and bey...

He would never want to see Shu suffer or sad. Even the world goes upside down... Shu will be forever his best friend and he will do anything for him because he got his back

With the new found courage and goal he had muster up. He stand up strong with unbreakable will and confidence displaying on him.

Blue was surprised at the odd aura Valt showing off

"Well I hate to tell you, but it just won't happen. So thanks, but no"

Valt sassy answer make Blue taken a back. He didn't see that coming

"Now I admire you, and that whole show you do. You're onto something, really it's something"

Valt said suspiciously while narrowing his eyes and finally take a deep breath

"I have the beyclub, I live now in BC Sol, and they don't treat me as a tool. Don't you know that I'm okay with this? Can't you see I'm doing fine? I don't need to see the other side"

Valt finish and Blue is looking at him with solemnly submission that make Valt doesn't know how to react

"Now is this really how you like to spend your days? Weak and misery, broken and empty~?"

Blue start to play his cards but Valt doesn't seem want to give up

"If I were mixed up with you, I'd be the talk of the town, I will be Disgraced and disowned, another one of people to fear"

Valt answer back smiling proudly

"But you would finally take a revenge, finally can breathe. Just let me give you the freedom, it'll wake you up and cure your aching"

Blue said doing his last resort as he seems to desperate as his tone that goes from cold and scary had start to mixed up with unknown anger

"Well it's intriguing, but to go would cost me greatly..."

Valt look up to Blue with deadly look eyes that make him falter

"But I would never let you hurt Shu, or me, no matter what the reason because that guy is my best friend and he needs help instead of breaking him. So tell me Blue, why are you desperate to destroy him as if you had your own personal grudge" Valt saying straight to the point

Blue stay silent which is strange as his eyes darken.

"Because I'm jealous"

And the world around Valt seem to stop when those three words make him feel dreadful

"Why?" Valt said trying to ease up the heavy atmosphere

Blue look away while biting his lips

"We were always together when you are kid then Shu showed up and you slowly forgot me. I know the only reason I exist so you had a companion but it still hurt"

Valt feel like a bullet shot straight to his heart and it hurts that he let down two of his friends.

He need to fix this sooner or later. He's not gonna make the same mistakes again. One is enough, two is too much.

So without hesitation he run forward as the cage start to break in pieces and Blue eyes widen in surprised when a pair of warm arms hug him tightly.

The cage doesn't actually represent his lack of freedom in life, it's actually represent how he can't show his true feelings and self. He is the prisoner of his own emotion of regrets and sadness.

And now he manage to face it, so that why he manage to break the cage.

"I'm so sorry. I know that wasn't enough to ease that grudge you feeling but I promise I would never forget you"

Valt kind words makes that surrounding change as the previous black place that represent hatred become a breathtaking scenery as the light shine upon Blue as a new found hope bloom.

Blue sigh "You never change, your so kind... let me repay your kindness"

Valt doesn't know what happened next as darkness swallowed him up

And the last thing he remember is Blue standing nest to him smiling... but no mix of evilness instead it's a true kindness shining through

Now, Blue is planning to kidnap Shu Kurenai after Valt defeat him as Red Eye.

A boy with messy silvery white hair slowly wake up with his crimson eyes that hazily look around only to find an obscure place of eternal dark void

He blink as if that would clear up the mess

The boy groan in confusion and tried to stand when he realised he's sitting only to find out his hands are tied up

He wobble his body but the rope tied up on the chair are really tight.

Panic rise up thinking he has been kidnapped but he dismissed that thought and to think rationally in order to get out

"Don't think you can escape easily Red Eye"

A hush icy voice break the deafening silence that send shivers through his spine as his eyes widen in utter disbelief

"That voice-it's sound like... Valt!'

He thought and didn't know which thing is more surprising, Valt sounds being cold or when he call him red eye that make his heart hurt

Then for split second, a blue dim light show around him with white smoke on the ground appear

A soft footstep echo as he look to see a familiar figure walking towards him

It was his best friend Valt... but his eyes look different that he blink two times to make sure he is things clearly but his eyes are not lying

Those innocent and kind hazelnut eyes that he always admired has now become cold and lifeless that send dread pool feeling in his stomach

But the worse is that... He's not smiling. Seeing him that state make him almost think that Valt in front of him is fake

"V-valt?! Is that you?! W-hat is happening here!" He shout with visible stuttering

"You are trapped here and you won't get escape unless you answer my question" Valt say coldly that make him gulp in fear at the uncharacteristic action of his friend

Valt take a deep breath and look at him straight to the eye that he feels like he's staring right into his soul

"Why did you leave me here all alone" Valt ask with no trace of emotion

The albino blink not understanding what is happening, The want it say something but it seem his tongue get stuck for some reason

Valt then start to walk around him slowly as he spoke next in audible whisper

"I'm way too young to be this hurt. I'm counting my wounds and I am trying to numb them all"

'V-valt is what!?'

The albino stay silent for small second seemingly trying it absorb what he just hear and when he does he paled rapidly, his crimson eyes widen in surprise at the new information he find out and seem to start understanding what is happening

Valt is harming himself

This is about his Red Eye route which he totally regret. But he don't understand... Valt say he already forgive him and even welcome him with warm arms. Is this some kind of dream? But it looks real

He badly want to say something but he feel very weak for some reason so now word came out

"Why don't you care? I gave you all of me.

My blood, my sweat, my heart, and my tears. I was there, I was there, when no one was. Now you're gone and I'm here"

The dread feeling become tenfold on his stomach and it feels so much worse just hearing Valt's lifeless voice and when he don't look at him, as he tried to look at his back where Valt is standing at

"I have questions for you Number one, tell me who you think you are? You got some nerve trying to tear my faith apart"

The memory of him pushing him away and breaking his bey played clearly in his mind as his eyes start to burn

"Number two, why would you try and play me for a fool? I should have never ever ever trusted you"

A imaginary knife stab on his heart that bleeds out as he wince in pain just remembering how he used to be a traitor

"Number three, why you swore that you wouldn't leave me alone when you won't keep it anyway?"

Then an image of Valt crying in front of him flash right before his eyes

He has done so may bad things to Valt. He need to fix this right away

Shu then tried to mustered up all the courage he had to speak up to clarify the situation

"Valt I-"

"My, my name was safest in your mouth
And why'd you have to go and spit it out?" Valt said in visible disgust while cutting him off

His breathing hitch with the courage he mustered up disappeared

"Wait-!"

"Oh, your voice, it was the most familiar sound, but it sounds so dangerous to me now" Valt said while rolling his eyes

There is clear tint of angered laced on his voice that make his heart missed a beat as he look down with all the hope crash down.

Valt look at Shu's state in disgust "So pathetic" he mutter not so loud and it's up to the albino to hear it or not.

The bluenette look again at the albino's pitiful star as he take another breath

"I have questions for you, do you miss me?"

And for some reason the tone in his voice change from cold to sad which make Shu look up immediately

"V-valt I'm so sorry. I never know you feel this way... It's ok you won't forgive me anymore or forgetting I'm you best friend but please let me make it up to you and I will do my best to fix everything" Shu voice is cracking up with single tear roll down in his face

Valt rolled his eye and sigh irritably and take away his yellow dotted headband and break it and now he look like a different person with his hair down "Good to hear that cause from what I've seen, all you did from the last few days is just running away from your mistakes and even had the nerve to ignore Valt"

For a moment, Shu can feel his world stop

"I knew it! You're fake! It's really impossible to Valt to feel and look depresse-!"

PAK!

A loud sound echo through as Shu can feel a hot searing pain on his cheeks when the fake Valt slap him hard

His mouth left hung as the seemingly fake Valt eyes glowed in icy blue hues and he really see clearly the anger building up on those eyes that he can feel his sins crawling up

"Dammit Kurenai, you were supposed to be smart! Valt is a human too! He has right to feel emotions other than being happy! You had no idea how depressed is he when you were gone! You know why? Cause you mean a world to him, don't you see that! Or you really become blind!? THEN YOU HAD THE GUTS TO LEAVE HIM ALONE JUST FOR FREAKING POWER! WHAT KIND OF BEST FRIEND YOU ARE!!!"

Shu left very shock as he bite his lip as he mentally curse for saying something so reckless

"I'm sorry"

The bluenette snort in disbelief "Tsk! Save up you lame excuse later and make up to him or else"

Shu's body freeze, a knife is pointed on his neck coming from this mysterious person.

He hesitate to nod, fearing the knife would cut his skin

"Who are you?" Shu ask the mysterious figure standing in front of him with such powerful aura

"I am your worst nightmare"

Valt sat confusingly in the cold concrete floor and make himself comfortable

Sighing deeply, he look around him only to find no one other than him in this park and the benches, trees and lamppost on the sidelines

Now he turn on his back to look over the bey stadium that bring a nostalgic feeling creeping up on him

Because in this bey stadium, is where him and Shu first battled when they first acquired their bey. And until now, it's still never change

Looking at those day make him smile softly

He missed those times

He look over the sky to see the captivating glowing white full moon that stood the most in the dark night

It's already 11:00 pm and where is the person who invited him here?

The he heard a soft footsteps from the back and he turn around in shock.

"Shu?" He blurted out

Valt blink in confusion as Shu bow down that make the bluenette shock again.

"I'm sorry, I didn't realise how mean I can be" Shu apologize, Valt can feel the sincerity and regret on his voice

Valt was taken aback on Shu's action but he didn't say anything that left him freeze in his spot. His eyes soften on what he just said, a stroke of weird feeling touch on the bluenette's heart as he keep listening

"I'm sorry to my unknown lover, sorry that I can't believe, that anybody ever really starts to fall in love with me"

Valt eyes widen in surprise with a not so noticeable tint of blush on his cheeks. 'H-how did he know?'

"I'm sorry to my unknown lover, sorry I could be so blind, I didn't mean to leave you and all of the things that we had behind"

Shu said with full of sincerity as he remember all the special memories they spend together when they were kids in the kindergarten and in the beyclub

He miss those moments where everything is not mess up

"I run away when things are good, and never really understood the way you laid your eyes on me, In ways that no one ever could"

Valt is always with Shu and Shu is always with Valt. They always spend together and the albino never thought something will bloom

"And I broke your heart, my ignorance has struck again, I failed to see it from the start and tore you open 'til the end"

Shu bite his lips when he remembered the bitter memory on how he abandoned his old self, when anger blinded his perspective, turning back on his friends especially Valt and eventually become a traitor

"I'm sorry"

Shu repeat apologizing and he won't get tired saying sorry if it means to fix his mistake

"Someone will love you but that someone isn't me"

With that sentence ended that make Valt shock at the ending but before he could say anything, his best friend pull out a stunt that make him shock again

Shu knelt down in the ground not minding the dirt he would get on his pants as he looked up with a gentle smile and soft eyes

"For now I can't call myself worthy of your love so let me redeem myself and fix all my mistakes so with that I could be your lover you could be proud of" he declare with those words that contain clear coming from his heart

Valt gasped but eventually smile sweetly and dash forward to his best friend who this time turn the shock one as they both fell in the ground creating a thud sound as they both laugh

Then a flash of memory play through in their mind when they were in the kindergarten and then Valt accidentally push Shu in the ground and they both fall down.

It was a good memory

A memory they would cherish from their heart

"It's ok Shu. I understand your reason but I just want you too know you'll always be the best guy in my eyes" then Valt grin brightly as the glowing moon in the sky reflect on his hazel eyes that make look captivating

Shu can feel his own face heat up at the sight. He grew up with Valt but dang he never realized until how good looking his best frien- no future lover is

They eventually decide to stand up cause they realise they're in a awkward position as they both look away with redden face

Shu fake cough to get Valt attention as the bluenette look at him

"Ummm Valt quick question... do you know perhaps a guy that look like you but has a blue glowing eyes?" Shu ask

Valt blink and realisation hit him "Oh you mean Blue yeah he's my friend and my second personality why? Did he threaten you?"

Shu laugh uncomfortable "Nah he just kidnap me-"

"What!?"

"I-I mean we met each other talk about you and my sin so don't worry, no harm was done.. I guess" Shu corrected himself and lower his voice at the end of the sentence

The bluenette nod slowly in disbelief "Ok?"

"Can I talk to him... to Blue? I just want to say something" Shu said changing the topic

Valt was a little worried at first but eventually grant his request "Well if you say so..."

And with that Valt close his way and few seconds later his usual gentle hazel brown eyes was replace with menacing glowing blue eyes and his friendly smile turn into a sadistic smirk

"Wassup albino we meet again~" Valt's second personality aka Blue spoke in sweet chilly tone

Shu take a deep breath and actually glad that he's not in a bad mood so he take courage he had still left and spoke "Hello Blue, thank you for confronting me the other and for looking over Valt" he said a bow little

Blue snort and look away "Nah I'm just doing my job but I gotta say you did a smooth move right now Shu"

Shu blush and smile in gratefulness "Thanks"

Blue smile and this time it was actually soft and that almost a replica from the original "Welp this night is about you and Valt so enjoy ok~"

And he closed his eyes and switch back to Valt who look at Shu quickly with worried expression

"Are you ok?" He ask as he observe the white male

Shu chuckle "Don't worry, I'm fine, see" he present himself to ease his worry

Valt sigh in relief

"Hey Valt"

"Hmmm?"

"Wanna battle?" Shu challenge as his crimson bey glint and show his bey Spriggan

Valt return the same determination as he show up Valkyrie who shimmer in excitement "Of course!"

The two top bladers go in their position in the bey stadium they used to battle with

"3! 2! 1! Let it Rip!"
