"You ever wish you weren't a werewolf?" Eli sat on the edge of the bed. Cameron was laying back as relaxed as he could be.

"Shifter."

Eli shot him a look.

"Yes."

Eli reluctantly turned his back to the window. "Why?"

"When I was twelve there was a primary school trip to this adventure centre in the next state over. At the time Quint wasn't on good terms with the pack in charge of the territory the place was in, so I couldn't go." Cameron told the story quickly and dispassionately.

"That was enough to want to change?"

"There was also the first few times I shifted." Cameron added, "I don't even remember how old I was, but feeling my bones and muscles snapping was more then enough to put me off. Oh, and there was this time Oliver came back from training and my poor werewolf nose could hardly stand the stench." Cameron's tone, and the fact he used 'werewolf' was enough to make Eli think he was trying to draw attention away from what he said first.

"Your bones break?" Eli thought about the time in his room. How would he feel if Cameron asked him to break his bones to prove himself? "You should have told me-"

"It's not like that anymore" Cameron rose up on his elbows, "It's just... pins and needles at most."

"If I ask Oliver will he tell me the same thing?"

"Eli" Cameron groaned. He sat up fully and joined Eli at the end of the bed. "It's a normal part of my life now, and at your house I was too freaked out to feel any pain."

"Would you like me if I was a werewolf?" Eli asked.

Cameron studied him with a worried look for a moment, which then turned into a contemplative one. "Yes. I would like to see you on all fours."

"Hey" Eli's cheeks heated up.

Cameron flashed a smile. "That's not what I meant, but that sounds good to. But I mean as a wolf. I bet you'd have fur would be a few shades lighter than your hair" He played with a few blonde strands at the nape of his neck, sending a small shiver down his back as his fingers brushed against his skin. "And you'd be slender. Like you are now."

"No way, I want to be fat like you."

"Bulky" Cameron said pointedly, "And strong."

Eli smiled at his tone. "Don't forget muscly."

Cameron looked pleased that he'd finally complimented him. "That too."

There were a few beats of silence, which Cameron broke with a more serious expression. "Are you scared?"

"We saw one earlier." Eli answered, "Of course I am." He looked at the curtains once again, "I just hope this works. I don't think I'll ever be able to relax knowing they're out there."

"I hope so too." Cameron leaned his chin onto Eli's shoulder, and gazed outside with him. "If it doesn't, we can just move overseas. Packs in other parts of the world aren't been plagued by them. It's not the end if it doesn't work."

"I can't imagine being able to convince my dad to move overseas." Eli leaned back against Cameron, letting his body heat warm him up.

"I'll kidnap you." Cameron reassured.

Eli smiled lightly, "And what about your parents? Would they approve of you going overseas?"

"They'd understand." Cameron wrapped his arms around his waist, and guided him back onto the bed. He lay them down so both were able to watch the window. Cameron must have realised Eli would be even more uneasy if he couldn't see it. "I'm not sure mom would approve of the kidnapping part though."

"And your dad would?"

"He'd know I was doing what needed to be done." Cameron answered with a level voice, making Eli chuckle.

Cameron rubbed small circles on his waist, as steady, soft breaths ticked the back of Eli's neck. They weren't touching, but Eli could feel his body heat only centimetres away. He let his gaze trail away from the window as he took in the emptiness of the room. He could feel that Cameron was completely relaxed, and maybe dozing off behind him. He was surprised how he was able to relax like that. Surprised, and a little disappointed.

They were completely alone. Maybe Eli had been too insistent on being scared, and Cameron didn't think he should do anything? Maybe he didn't want to? Eli frowned at the sudden worry that flitted into his thoughts so seamlessly. He decided that letting his thoughts go on anymore was dangerous.

He scooted back, taking great care to tuck himself tightly against Cameron.

Cameron hummed against his neck, and likewise leaned into him. Eli was immediately relieved. He wasn't avoiding him.

"You know..." He trailed his fingers up Cameron's arm, "I think your other form is cosier to sleep with."

Cameron growled back. It wasn't a half growl, or a playful warning, it came from a tensed body, and it made Eli's chest rumble. He was moved onto his stomach as Cameron rolled on top, his hips bore down on him, and his upper body pressed down with an oppressive weight. He took the edge of his ear between his teeth, and growled louder.

"I was kidding." Eli said breathlessly.

He pressed down harder.

"I prefer you." Eli added in a lower voice as he shivers raced over his skin. He yielded to Cameron like it was the most natural thing in the world, and it wasn't until he lifted his weight up that Eli could filter the act of dominance through a rational mind. Goosebumps broke out over his skin. His rational mind couldn't explain his reaction, but the humming of the skin under his mark did easily enough.

"I was going to apologise" Cameron said lowly against his ear, "But I think you liked that too much."

Eli's face heated up. He wasn't surprised that Cameron knew his response, but he was irritated. "It turned you on too" He grumbled. "Good to know my boyfriend gets off on being an asshole."

"And mine likes being dominated" Cameron murmured. "That is very good to know."

"That's just because you're a werewolf" Eli objected as Cameron guided him onto his back, but his use of the word 'werewolf' apparently wasn't enough to make the playful, hungry gaze even flicker. Cameron threaded their hands together, and pointedly moved them above Eli's head, pressed them into the mattress. His body shifted forwards as he did, and his face moved to hover directly above Eli's. Eli couldn't break eye contact, and his defensiveness was forgotten as heat started to build in his body.

"Do you prefer this?" Cameron slid his hands to his wrists, and pushed them down with more strength. "Or this?"

Either way, Eli's heart was freaking out. Cameron's excited, eager gaze was captivating. It filled him with an even stronger need to give in to Cameron then before. "I like it"

"Now?" His grip tightened.

Eli nodded.

Cameron's eyes glazed over, and he bent down close enough for his hair to tickle Eli's cheeks. "Say it." His voice was a husky command. The butterflies in Eli's stomach exploded into disarray, so violently that it made him dizzy.

"I like it." Eli complied breathlessly.

His wrists started to ache as Cameron squeezed tighter. Eli let out quick gasps, arching back his back to somehow escape the pain. His body brushed against Cameron's, and he felt his arousal against his leg as he did. The butterflies turned into molten heat, that made it hard to breathe.

Eli took in Cameron's breaths that were racing faster than his own, and then the gaze that seemed to be helping his body betray him with heat. He was enjoying it. Eli knew that Cameron had a dominant side, what he didn't know until now was how weak he was to it, and how overwhelming his own desire to please Cameron was. "I like it."

Cameron shivered. Eli swallowed hard, liking that he was affecting Cameron the same way he was to him. He moved his weight so a single arm was pressing his wrists down, and cupped his cheek as he ducked down to kiss him. His warm lips caressed Eli, and then his hot tongue slid between his lips. He strained against the weight on his wrists; his body shivered with the need to touch Cameron, to draw him in closer. Cameron didn't relent. All Eli could do was pant and groan as Cameron ignited his body into an inferno.

Cameron's weight shifted, and he brushed against Eli in a way that drew out a long a moan. Their lips separated, and Eli took the chance to catch his breath. Cameron used it to press against Eli in a deliberate way, that turned his breaths into another groan. His hands twitched to cover his mouth.

"That sounds good." Cameron murmured. He ran his hand along Eli's thigh, and gripped it as he flexed his hips forwards.

Eli arched his back, as if that would lessen the bundle of nerves shooting pleasure through him. It didn't work even slightly, but biting his lip and letting out a heavy pant worked to silence a groan.

It worked until Cameron laid kisses along the line of jaw, and hummed against his skin as he released pleasured groans of his own. He trailed the kisses up, until he reached Eli's lips. He took his lower lip from Eli's grip, and bit softly into it, before sliding his tongue between compliant lips. Ragged breaths and straining moans mixed together. Heat pooled in Eli's abdomen as Cameron moved with more purpose, his rhythm supplemented by more weight.

Eli pressed against the weight on his wrists; the unyielding force didn't budge. "Cameron" he murmured against his lips. He didn't care how needy his voice came out, or how close it sounded to begging. He wanted to hold onto Cameron while his body could hold out, which wouldn't be for much longer.

Cameron responded by pressing his weight down on him harder. His chest couldn't expand easily, and it made breathing difficult.

Eli's core tightened regardless. He drew his legs in taking in sharp, hard breaths. "Cameron." This time he was unabashedly begging.

He hummed. The bar his arm formed over his wrists slide away, and he filled Eli's empty hands with his. Eli shuddered closing his fingers around his.

Cameron's grip tightened as his body tensed. He tilted his head away, separating their lips as his harsh breaths hitched. He pressed firmly against Eli as a shudder went through him, tight groans escaped his lips, and turned into sighs as he went slack.

He let his full weight rest on Eli as he drew in heavy breaths.

Eli got his breathing under control too, and hazily opened his eyes.

Cameron rose up and kissed Eli again. This time it was long and savoury. Lacking the intensity of before, but making Eli sigh against his lips for an entirely different reason.

"Oh" Cameron pulled back, glancing down between them.

Eli's face went crimson at the deliberate way he looked. Somehow, he found it more embarrassing then what they just did.

"Sorry Eli" Cameron let out a small chuckle, and returned his lips to his jaw. He kissed along the line, leading back to his ear. He separated their hands, taking his wrists into the grip of one and keeping them there, and trailed the other slowly and deliberately down his chest. Eli tested the strength holding him down, and wasn't surprised to find it uncompromising.

Cameron teased the line of his shirt, and crossed underneath the fabric. His hand slide over dips and curves, feeling it's way to his nipples. Eli jolted. Cameron's soft touch teased around them, and Eli unconsciously drew his legs up as uncertainty danced through his limbs fuelled by inexperience.

Cameron tucked his face right against Eli's jaw as he nibbled on his skin, intermixing scratches of teeth with kisses and tongue.

When fingers drew closer to message his nipples, and experienced motions coaxed heavier breaths from Eli, the tingles that Cameron ignited went straight down. Eli shifted in growing, unrelieved discomfort. He felt good. He did. But his eyes fought their way open. His restricted view of the ceiling offered no comfort to his racing heart that for some reason felt like panic.

He was fine a second ago.

He was fine when Cameron's moans were mixing with his.

He still felt good now. He was still groaning under Cameron's touch.

Cameron's hand slid over his stomach, playing with band of his jeans.

A surge of panic went through Eli's chest. It was his arms. It was being pinned down, while Cameron was completely calm and detached. "Let me up."

Cameron jerked back. Eli felt the recoil shoot through his entire body, and he wasn't surprised given how panicked his voice had come out. "What's –"

"My arms" Eli squeezed his eyes shut so he didn't have to see Cameron's confusion. The weight left his wrists, and he drew them in to himself with a relieved breath. He felt Cameron's weight shift off him. He tilted his head to him and braved looking. What he saw made his chest tighten.

Cameron's expression was twisted in guilt and something that looked like disgust. "I'm so sorry Eli." He rubbed his mouth in a slightly violent manner. "Fuck I'm sorry. I didn't realise you didn't like it" his eyes darkened and Eli imagined where his thoughts went as they did, and they were confirmed by his glance of self-disgust at his messy trousers. "I'm sorry." his voice lost all its volume.

Eli jolted upright. "I liked it. Don't feel bad – I did like it." He grabbed Cameron's hands and squeezed them hard, hoping to convey his earnest. "Please don't make a face like that" He practically whined when he saw Cameron's guilty gaze staring back. He took in a deep breath, knowing that if he flaked out now this was going to stew between them. "I think I just panicked. After you – uh, well, when it was just me if felt ... I don't have any experience with this kind of thing, so when it was only me that was into it ..." Eli struggled to put his thoughts into a coherent sentence. "It felt like I was being messed with."

"I wouldn't –"

"I know you wouldn't." Eli bit his lower lip. "I know that."

Cameron stared with a strained expression. "So why did you think that?"

Eli didn't have an answer waiting to ease the worry from his face. "I don't know" he breathed out.

The disappointment that filled Cameron's face made his chest tighten like a vice. A vice that clogged his throat, and made him feel like crying. He fought off the burning feeling in the back of his eyes with a strict sternness. Crying would make it worse. "I was nervous about doing something new, and not being able to touch you was... I don't know" his voice cracked. "I think I needed the reassurance of being able to hold onto you."

Cameron put his arm around his shoulders and tucked his head underneath his chin. He rubbed his back and his arms as the tears broke loose. "I'm sorry."

Eli bit the inside of his mouth with a harshness that drew blood. He didn't let himself relax against Cameron for even a second before pulling back again. "You get it don't you? you know it's not because I didn't like it? You know you shouldn't feel bad?"

Cameron gave him a reassuring half smile.

"Cameron" Eli found sternness for his voice, "Stop making that face."

"I'm not making a face." Cameron said, and it looked as though he did relax. "I get it okay?" he cupped Eli's face, and brushed the tears that managed to escape away with his thumbs. "I won't pin you down while we're doing new things. Okay?"

"Okay" Eli nodded.

"Now it's your turn to stop making that face" Cameron sighed, drawing him back in to him. Eli didn't object. He just took in deep breaths until he'd calmed himself down.

"I'm sorry for freaking out."

"Don't apologise" Cameron groaned, "It's fine to be nervous."

"I could have said it in a better way." Eli ran his tongue along the edge of his cheek, feeling the cut his teeth had caused. The metallic taste in his mouth went from helping him focus to disgusting in an instant.

"Anyway, is fine." Cameron softly stroked his back. "It's better that I know what you don't like."

"I did like it."

"Yes, yes you liked the first bit." Cameron was using his 'I'm humouring you' tone. Eli didn't even mind.

"I like you."

Cameron twitched. The hand stroking his back faltered for a moment, before returning to its rhythm. "I like you too" Eli could hear the smile in Cameron's voice as he said it.

*

Oliver: We're leaving in twenty. I'm not coming in there, so make sure to get Cameron up.

Eli sighed and turned the blinding screen away from him. He twisted around in Cameron's arms, pleased to find that the distance between them last night hadn't survived the night. Cameron didn't stir, even when Eli tucked a loose curl behind his ear, or traced the line of his lips. "We have to go."

Cameron breathed out a heavier breath, but remained still.

"Cameron." Eli snuggled up closer, nuzzling his face into the crook of his neck. "Oliver said we're going in twenty minutes.

"Mhm" Cameron tightened his arms and pulled Eli against his chest. "I'm not getting up." He objected drowsily.

Eli bit the inside of mouth to stop the smile, and successfully killed it with a sharp pain in his cheek. He sucked in a sharp breath, and his mouth was quickly saturated with blood.

Cameron jerked up, his gaze suddenly alert with all traces of sleepiness extinguished.

"I bit my cheek" Eli answered his worried gaze.

"I can smell blood."

"It's bleeding."

Cameron shot him an annoyed look, and Eli shrugged it off.

"Come on" He crawled over him, "We're down to fifteen minutes."

Cameron caught his waist, and pulled him back onto the bed. He smothered him under the blankets, draping them over their heads. He blocked out the light steaming in from the drapes, and spooned Eli, kissing the back of his neck softly before going still.

"We have to get ready!" Eli chuckled. He unsuccessfully tried to pry his arm of his waist, and decided instead to go for the covers.

"Eli" Cameron complained. He caught the edges and pulled it back down. He shifted, and lay on top of Eli so that his weight alone could immobilise him while he kept the sheets over them. "We never get to sleep together."

"The last two nights – "

"That was in wolf form." Cameron grumbled, "I didn't get to do it so it doesn't count."

"You looked pretty human to me in the morning."

Cameron grumbled something against Eli's neck that he couldn't make out. He didn't make any move to let Eli up.

"We have to get ready" Eli whined. He tried scooting out, but the efforts of his squirming were dashed by Cameron just moving over a bit.

"Turning me on won't help you."

Eli ceased squirming, and Cameron chuckled.

"Come on" Cameron coaxed with his lips brushing against Eli's ear, his breath invaded Eli's reason alongside his voice. "I like you writhing underneath me."

"Guys." Oliver called through the door, accompanied by quick bangs. "Stop flirting and get up."

Cameron happily ignored the voice, but it was enough to break the spell on Eli's limbs. "Come on" he pushed back, and Cameron relented with a groan.

"Stupid dog" Cameron hissed towards the door.

"Mutt" Was the reply through the boards.

Eli shook his head at the decent into name calling. Cameron grabbed the pillow next to him and fired it at the door with a growl. He continued into the bathroom, leaving Cameron to glare at the door while he quickly got changed.

His reflection was tired, and visibly relieved. Cameron must have understood what Eli had been failing to say yesterday. He wasn't being reserved about touching him, and apparently not about pinning him down either. He was glad, relieved, and a hundred other things that he hadn't turned things strange between them.
