So back story,

After training in the evening, Monami got a call from her dad...he was as usual telling her how pathetic was her decision of joining and choosing Parakaram yet again instead of her successful life as a doctor...She was badly heartbroken from his words...💔

It was 8:30, she didn't went for dinner...She was sitting down in the ground on the grass, with her knees touching her chest... Looking up at the sky, she could see moon playing hide seek with the clouds...Tears were rolling down her face, her father's words were hurting her soo bad...Why can't she choose for herself...Why?? She has always struggled to put her point across her father...He always made decisions for her...For the first time she has decided to stand up for herself and her dreams...Still...Why can't things go her way, once, just for once...She was lost in her thoughts...🥺💔

On the other hand,

Karan was in dinner area, having dinner as usual with trainers on their seperate table...One thing that was on his mind while having dinner was, why can't he find Monami in the dinner area...He has thoughts running in his head...

Karan - (In his head) Ye rani sahiba kyu ni dikhai de rahi...?? Abhi training mein toh thi...Pta ni ho sakta hai thak gai ho ya bhuk na ho...

Sanju - Sirjii, ke hogeyo...Khana kahe na kha rhe??

Karan - Nhii...Kuch ni...He ate a spoon of it and again thought, Vaise aise karti toh ni hai...Theek toh hai?? Then his inner voice said...Tu kyu itna soch rha hai uske baare mein?? Hogi yhi kahi...

He brushed off all his thoughts, finished his dinner and went to his room...✨

It's 11:30 now, it started to rain heavily a while back...Karan was in his room, unable to sleep... Faizi was also not there today...He was sleepless, for some reason he just wanted to see Monami once...

Here, Monami was still sitting in the ground unaffected by the rain, fully drenched...Lost in her thoughts, involuntarily shivering from the cold weather... Still crying remembering her and her dad's conversation...

Karan decides to go and check on her once...He heads towards her room...To his surprise, Monami was not in her room... Sanjana was already fast asleep... Monami's bed was empty...

Karan to himself - Ye kaha gai?? Iss waqt?? Room mein ni h, dinner krne bhi ni aai...Gai kaha ye?? bahar bhi itni tez baarish ho rhi hai, toh obviously bahar bhi kya hi karegi... 

He finally decides to check outside once...He checks all the places she could be at, finally he heads to the ground and to his surprise he finds someone sitting in the ground...He can't see who is it, the person is sitting facing the other side...He can only see the person's back...He doesn't understand, why is someone sitting in the ground while it's raining heavily...He starts walking to the person, as he walks closer...He could see it's Monami...She was lost somewhere...He walks to her fast and asks,

Karan - Rani sahiba, aap yaha kya kr rhi hai itni baarish mein??

She doesn't look at him, nor does she respond to him...He taps her shoulder...

Karan - Rani sahiba??

She finally looks at him, He could see her blood red eyes...It was like she has cried for hours...Before she could reply him, and before he could ask her anything...She faints and she was about to hit her head on the ground when Karan kneels down, keeps her hand beneath her head and holds her close to him...

Karan - Monamii, Monami... he says tapping her cheeks to wake her up...Issey toh bahot tez bukhar hai...

He picks her up in his arms and walks straight to the dispensary of the academy...He makes her lay down on the bed...No one was there in the dispensary...He quickly goes n wakes up the doctor and brings her to check on Monami...She takes her wrist to check her pulse and says yaha medicine n ol nhi padhi...Aaj kuch cheeze shift hui thi, so mein aati hu abhi...You stay here...He nodes his head in an okay, she leaves and he runs his hand softly on her face, pulling those hair back from her face...He had no idea why was she there, what happened... Nothing...He starts rubbing her hands...

Karan - Monami, kya kr rhi thi tum iss tym ground pe...Tumhe dikhai ni deta baarish ho rhi hai..

Monami slowly starts opening her eyes, gaining her conciousness...

Karan - Monami 

Monami - Mein yaha kaise?? She says and tries to get up...But she was soo weak...

Karan - Kya kr rhi ho Monami?? 

She tries to get down from the bed but instantly she feels dizzy again...Karan's holds her again...

Karan - Monamii, he said getting all concerned for her...Kya kar rhi ho...Kyu uth rhi ho?? Aur tum kya kar rhi thi bahar, itni baarish mein??

She doesn't answer him...He was holding her from her waist, close to the bed...

Karan - Bologi kuch??

Monami - Kuch ni...Mujhe jaana hai...

She says and starts walking out...He was getting irritated now...One, she was not answering him or any of his questions...Two, she's down with very bad fever and still she's leaving yet again...

He steps forward and holds her wrist sternly, pulls her back to him...She was sooo close to him...He has no idea what's wrong, but he knows for sure that something happened...

Karan - Kaha jaa rhi ho??

Monami - She didn't meet his eye, Room mein...

Karan - Kyu

Monami - Kyu??

Karan - Tumne btaya ni...Tum bahar kyu baithi thi itni baarish mein...Tumhe itna tez bukhaar hai...Kya krti rehti ho??

Monami tries to free her wrist from his hand, haath chodho karan...Mujhe mere room mein jaana hai...

Karan - Tumhe samajh ni aata?? Naa koi sawal ka jawab de rhi ho...Vo bhi chodho...Tumhe bhtt tez bukhaar hai...

Monami - Mein theek hu karan, she says and jerks off his hand holding her...

Karan pulls her back to him, he could see anger and hurt in her eyes...

Monami - Karan chodho...

Karan - Kya hua hai Monami??

She tries to jerks off his hands again, but he was holding her really firmly right now by both of her arms... Meanwhile, the doctor comes...Karan loosens his grip on her and she was about to leave again...

Karan - Monami, kaha jaa rhi ho??

Doctor - Aap pls lait jao, where are you leaving??

Monami doesn't hear anyone of them and continues walking out...Karan went ahead and pulled her back with her wrist...His Khadoos Shergill mode was on now...

Karan - Baitho...He says pointing her to sit...Right now...

Monami - Mujhe jaana hai...

Karan - Monamii, baithoo...He says in full Khadoos Shergill style...

She goes n sit on the bed...

Doctor - Aap lait jao, let me check you once...

She didn't, she was again lost in own world...

Doctor - Dr. Monami aap khud ek doctor hai... Please, lemme check you once...

Karan let's out a huge sigh seeing she's not listening to anyone and not just him...He sighs and steps closer to her and makes her lie down, putting her legs up on the bed himself...

The doctor starts checking her, He was about to go and stand outside, when she holds his wrist...He looks at his wrist and turns back to her, before they could meet eachothers eye, she already shifted her gaze on the doctor...He didn't say anything, but just stands beside her while the doctor checks on her...

Doctor - Aapko bahot zyada fever hai...By saying, she pulls out an injection to give it to her...

Monami - Iski koi zarurat ni hai...Mein abhi room mein jaake medicine lelungi...By saying that, she again tries to get up...

Karan softly pushes her back down...

Karan - Hilna mat yaha se...😒

Monami - Karan 🥺😒

Karan is standing close to her, he signals the doctor to give her the injection, the doctor gives her the shot...Monami flinches and in a reflex holds his wrist tight from her other hand...

Doctor - Stay here please, jab tak aapka fever na utre...

Monami gets up again and says I'll just go back to my room and rest...Thank you...

Before the doctor could say anything, Karan could see that now she'll won't stay anymore...

Doctor - But...

Karan shows her his hand to stop her from saying anything...

Karan - It's okay, I'll take care...Thank you...

Doctor - Okay...Get her clothes changed first...You too...

Karan nodes his head in an okay and she leaves...
