Y/N's pov

Ruby stood there bouncing on the heels of her feet while we sat around waiting for the train to arrive.

We turned to her as she had a giant smile on her face.

Yang: And?

Ruby squeeled in delight as she showed a gift bag, this seems like a waste of time to me

Weiss: What an absolute waste of ti-

Yang dashed forward to Ruby, cutting off Weiss.

Yang: What did you get me!?

Ruby: You'll have to wait and see

She hid the bag behind her while sticking her tounge out and Yang

Yang: No fair!

She went to grab the bag but Nora got inbetween them and pushed them away.

Nora: Ooh, i can't believe we're taking the train to Argus!

She did a serious of random poses that somehow didn't draw people's attention

Nora: Do you think it's to early for beach season!?

Ren: Unfortunately, but we will be one step closer to Atlas

Weiss: Well i'm glad you're all excited but i don't think you appreciate the trouble i went through to leave Atlas

Ruby: I know you're worried Weiss but team RWBY won't leave your side for a second, i promise

?: No one's gotta be worried with us around

I turned my head to see two guys approaching us, one had pale skin and dark hair who was carrying a mace and the other had tanned skin, brown hair and a goatee along with a rifle.

Nora: Aaand you are?

?: Why Dee and Dudly of course, the Argus limited's very own huntsman. We'll be keeping everyone safe as we pass through Grimm territory

Dudly: Buuut for a generous tip we can make sure your passenger card gets extra special attention, should things get dangerous

He winked making us all slouch over in disappointment, Qrow walked up behind them and spoke drawing their attention

Qrow: I gotta tip for ya. Buzz off

He stood infront of them with Ruby and Yang by his sides whilst doing mocking poses and actions

Qrow: Looks like Mistral's own is from straight from the bottom of the barrel these days

Dee: Hey! You're talking to-

Qrow: A professional huntsman, well it looks like one of you heroes left the staff entrance to the caboose wide open. It'd be a shame to lose your job before you even started

They looked to it shocked before turning to each other

Dudly: I-I didn't do it!

Dee: *Sigh* C'mon dummy

They walked off while arguing about who left the entrance open making me chuckle.

Oscar: Y'know, sometimes the burden saving of the world feels overwhelming, but then people like that come along and make me grateful that it's our job and not theirs

Me: But they're actual Huntsmen, we're a Huntsman, a bunch of Huntsmen and Huntresses in training, a farm boy and a former Huntsman in training

Qrow: Quit being a downer. So you guy's ready to go, got the bike all loaded up?

Yang: Yep!

Weiss: Just waiting on Blake as usual

Timeskip

Sitting in my own room on the train i glanced out the window. Is this really what i want to do? Go off and save the world?

Looking down i ran my hand over the more heavily patched areas of my arms, frowning underneath the bandages

I don't have a goal anymore although... i wish i could've seen Neo one last time, make sure there aren't any hard/confused feelings.

The train shook for some reason so i looked out the window to see Grimm flying outside... what the hell!?

Grabbing my holster i strapped it to my belt before opening the door, running past the panicking passengers and onto the roof of the train carts.

As i readied myselves as i saw a bunch of Grimm flying around. A moment later RWBY, Qrow and Oscar came up.

Dee activated his weapon and went to charge forward but was grabbed by a passing Grimm.

Dudly: DEE!

I watched in shock before gritting my teeth. Do i use my semblance? No, the wind would blow the gas back.

Blake: What the plan Ruby?

Ruby: Make sure no body else dies

We ran forward as i shot at a Grimm, it turned to me before growling and charging at me. Turning my weapon into it's sword mode i slid underneath the Grimm.

Raising my sword i slashed at it's underside making it screech in pain, hopping to my fewt i turned to a Grimm and threw my sword into it's head.

Both turned to ash before i picked my sword back up. The defences on the train were activated as plates surrounded the outside, bars went over the windows and turrets rised up.

Turning my weapn into it's gun mode i fired at a Grimm a few times, it staggered back, exposing it's neck so i shot into it which killed the Grimm.

Oscar: TUNNEL!

I looked to see the train quickly approaching a tunnel so i jumped inbetween to carts and ran into one.

As the train entered the tunnel i looked up to see some passengers who looked afraid... i'm probably not what they want to see.

?: What's going on!?

Standing up i checked the magazine of my gun, discarding it i pulled out another and reloaded my gun

Me: Grimm

?: We know that, i want to know what you're doing about it!

Me: Killing them, it's not my job... actually i don't have a job but i'm doing it

?: You're not a Huntsman!?

There was some uproar from some passengers while others were trying to stay calm or comfort others

Me: LISTEN! The more angry you get the worse the situation will be. Now i'm going to advise you to calm down and make sure no one's hurt

They nodded making me sigh, moving into the cart ahead of me i saw the others surrounding Dudly as he nursed his broken arm.

They were arguing which i wasn't interested in, going over to him i took out a roll and crouched down to his level.

Me: Hey

He looked up to me with a pained expression, it changed slightly into a confused one which was understandable given my appearence

Me: I need to you bare with me for a moment... and sorry about your friend

Going over to a seat i cut off an arm rest and took out the wood in it. I came back over and raised his arm making him wince before i began wrapping his arm.

The wood acted as a splint for his arm. Finishing i looked to him as he looked down at his arm.

Dudly:... Thanks

Me: No problem

Ruby: Y/N, come on

Nodding i got up as the train exitted the tunnel we went moving through the cabins, i climbed to the top and Blake slashed the carts and the Griffons climbed out the tunnels.

Ruby yelled now as i saw Jaune help Ren mask the emotions of everyone on the train. Aiming at the Grimm i began firing at the turrets went down.

A Griffon flew down so i slashed at it's side as Ruby followed up with one of her own.

It crashed into one Ozpin was fighting and they fell off the train.

Qrow got knocked back by a large one so  created some glyphs and i slid along the train before ducking under it and slicing at it's underside.

Yang slid under a bit after me and began looping Blake's sash around the Grimm before planting the blade into the top as Blake pulled on it.

Creating glyphs Weiss froze it's wings before smirking as it screeched at her. It's wings broke before Qrow and Ruby shot themselves forward and spinning in the air.

They sliced through the Grimms mid section before it turned to ash. A fireball in it's mouth shot forward so Weiss stabbed her swords into the ground and created gravity glyphs keeping everyone from falling off.

The train hit the fireball and we went off the rails making the train crash into the snow.

Laying on the ground i got myself up slowly while groaning in pain slightly. This ain't the thing i've been through... but it still hurts

Qrow: Is everyone okay?

Me: My face hurts...

Yang: Yeah

?: Still alive!

An old woman walked out the crashed train as i sighed to myself, didn't everyone evacuate or something?

?: That sure was a close one huh?
