"Abrax?" A voice asked and it wasn't Kili, Fili or Thorin it was my grandfather. "What happened?" He asked picking me up.

"My husband has turned evil" I replied.

"What about your shoulder?" He asked. I looked at it and I noticed that it was literally hang of because of how deep the blade went. "We need to hide you" He said. "Ohl Abrax you're burning up, you've got a fever my girl" He said.

"Its an infection" I said to him.

"That water couldn't have been clean then" He said.

"No I don't think so" I replied. My grandfather carried me back to his house, and laid me down on my back, he began to stitch my arm up but I didn't flinch in pain even though it was excruciating, my mind was too focused on Kili and his betrayal and how he almost killed me, the tears began to roll down my face.

"Here drink this" My grandfather said handing me a cup of liquid, I drank it and immediately felt drowsy and I soon passed out. I hid in my grandfathers house for months on end, he was delivering my letters to Thorin and Fili which contained everything they wanted to know. Those few months turned into a year and that year in to two years, and I knew Kili was still on the hunt for me. I was bathing in the lake in which I was washed into one summers evening I heard a twig snap behind me, I turned around submerged in the water and there stood my husband on the bank with the enchanted blade in his grip.

He didn't even advance into the water he just stood there and stared at me almost as if though he was contemplating something, but all of a sudden he dropped the blade shrugged off his coat and boots, picked up the blade and then began to wade into the water.

But as Kili advanced I saw a black mass leaving him, oh I forgot that the water was enchanted, so what ever spell he had on him is now leaving, I could see the sparkle in his eyes returning, the recognition was back and he had lowered the blade.

"Abrax?" He asked.

"Kili?" I quizzed him, I swam to him and stood in front of him. The blade was soon lifted high into the air, and soon came down I pushed the blade away from me, and I noticed the water began to turn red with blood.
