I looked at Kili and then at my hand there was blood coming from both of us my hand had been sliced by the sword, but the sword was no where to be seen, I looked at Kili and I noticed blood dripped from his lips I hugged him to me to notice three arrows sticking out from his back.

I looked up and saw three men dressed in black cloaks, they proceeded to fire at us but I hugged Kili to me and used my force field to protect us. The arrows bounced off the field but I was weakening, I ripped the arrows from Kilis back making my poor husband cry with pain, Kili looked at me and I could see in his eyes that he was back to his old self again and he recognised me. "Abr...ax" He wheezed.

"I've got you Kili, like I promised I will always catch you when you fall" I said to him, he had wrapped his arms around my waist but I could feel them weaken, so with one final push from my power I managed to incinerate the three cloaked figures, Kili and I managed to drag our selves to the shallowed before collapsing together there.

"Abrax... I am sorry" He cried. "Thank you for saving me" He replied.

"You're welcome and its okay" I reassured him stroking his hair from his face. "Come lets get you back to my grandfathers house" I told him, even though every ounce of strength had faded from me, I managed to turn into my wolf for and carry my husbands weak frame to my grandfathers house, as soon as we got in I grandfather took Kili from me while I collapsed in front of the roaring  fire in the fire place, my aching limbs needed it and my paw needed time to heal.

My grandfather soon emerged with a blooded cloth and apron but still being in wolf form my ear twitched as I heard him, he sat down in the arm chair next to him. I didn't even look up. "How is he?" I asked.

"Very sick" He answered looking at the floor. "Your blood and the evil with in him is weakening him, Abrax I am sorry but his immortality is perishing" He told me sadly.

"There must be something we can do?" I quizzed him desperately.

"There is but its a weeks ride away" He answered.

"Then go" I told him.

"What about you, you haven't moved since you got here" He stated.

"I cant" I answered.

"Why?" He asked.

"My paw wont heal" I told him.

"How bad is it?" He asked.

"Its fine" I answered. He crouched down to my level his bones cracking and he took my paw, causing me to pine loudly, and I thought I  heard Kili call out to me as he heard me cry in pain.

"Abrax, your paw is split its in bad shape!" He exclaimed, he pressed his hand to my forehead you're running a fever as well as your husband, I hate to say it but your immortality is leaving you to" He told as he panicked. "I must inform Thorin and Fili immediately " He said rushing up to his desk.
