Bill's POV: "NO!" I reached towards her, my hand just missing hers. I couldn't reach her in time. She was swallowed by the large, inter-dimensional rift in front of me. I just sat in shock for a few seconds before sitting back, my eye still the size of a saucer.

I blinked slowly, turning my gaze toward the forest. The smoke billowing up from the blaze. The inferno licking and spiraling around the trees. Trees that once housed beautiful, feathered creatures but now held no more than ashes and flame. Trees that once supplied oxygen and fruit and wood now nothing but a pile of burning rubble.

I then looked towards the houses. They, too were burning. Some of them being uprooted by the rift I had unleashed apon the quaint, little town. Some of these abodes still had civilians in them, hanging out the windows and screaming.

Then, I saw a young boy. He was looking up at two civilians in one of the houses, a man and a woman. He opened his mouth, yelling to them as they yelled back, telling him to run. Tears streamed down their faces as the woman and man hugged each other, the boy running off as the house was fully engulfed in flames.

My pupil constricted as I realized what had happened. I couldn't help but feel the pain of the boy. Feel what he was going through, for I once endured the same pain.

I looked around frantically at the destruction I had caused, breathing heavily. There was only one way to end this. To close the black hole and restore the land without causing a time loop.

I floated off the throne and faced the rift, a determined stare crossing my "face". I lunged towards it, my triangular body cutting through the air like a jet and flying into the rift. As I hit the opening, I felt an immense pain, the rift starting to implode on itself. Despite the excruciating pain, I fought my way through the rift's entrance. I watched as it became smaller and smaller before being no longer there.

I turned to look at my surroundings. It was a starry void. Pieces of houses and trees were strewn and floating about the area. It was deathly quiet.

Then, I saw her.

I floated over to Molly's limp body and pulled her into my arms, bridal style. She wouldn't survive in here for long. I had to get her out of here.

I snapped my fingers, the shrill sound echoing around the spacious, universe-like rift. The snap triggered a bright flash as we both appeared in Molly's house, planted safely on the ground once more.

I softly placed her on the bed, pulling the covers up and over her.

"I'm sorry..So sorry...."
