I caught a yellow cab that took me over the river I looked out of the cab window at the busy streets of New York. To a tourist this was strange and looked chaotic by to a New Yorker this was everyday life. I arrived at Dr Ashton's reception at 11:45am. As I walked in I noticed people of different backgrounds sitting in her waiting room. I glanced over a family of three and sleep deprived looking mother with bruising around her face, arm and legs which she tried to cover, a up tight looking father his arms crossed as he checked his watch every few seconds most lurking think he didn't need to be here and the daughter looked a mess. She looked about 16 but her face was covered in makeup. She wear a white crop top which showed her ribs quite badly. It made me sick looking at her. She was just skin and bones at such a young age, how could her parents let her get like that or was there something else going on. No I thought I must focus why I'm here. I know I want to help but that's why they are here to get help.

The receptionist smiled and took my attention away from the family. "Can I help you sir." She smiled at me with her glowing white smile no way those where natural white I thought. "Yes I have an appointment at midday with Dr.Ashton." I smiled back at her as I removed my black leather jacket. "Argh yes Mr George Goodwin Dr. Ashton will be with you in a moment if you would kindly take a seat in our eating are" she smiled at me as she pointed to where the family sat. I nodded my head and turned to find a seat on my own. The father looked at me and seemed to put his noise up at me as if I was trash. He then got up leaving his wife and daughter.

He quickly walked to the desk and started demanding to know why I was doing to see Dr.Ashton before them and that they had been waiting nearly an hour. The receptionist tried to calm the man down by the when to hit her yelling "Can't you women get anything right! Your all so useless!" I quickly got up out of my seat and managed to stop him from hitting her "And what gives you the right to hit her. I'm seeing the doc before you because I booked an appointment. I hope you don't treat your not the one responsibly for you wife's bruising because I will call my old friends down at the police station and get you put in jail if so." I saids as I pinned his arm behind his back as he struggled laughing "that's just an empty threat do you know who I am. I am the owner of US power no one can put me in jail plus you have nothing on me." I put more pressure on his arm making his grunt in pain. I hated guys like him thinking his power would stop him. I pulled out my badge and showed it to him. "Oh really well by the looks of you wife I say you hit her and those bruises to hr arm, face and legs are my proof plus by the stare your daughters in I'm guessing you started on her and her condition is down to the way your treat her so that one count of domestic violence, one count child neglect ion and two counts of assault in a public place." He then became quiet.

"What in gods name is going on here?" A voice asked. I looked up and saw who I guessed to be Dr Mary Ashton. She was tall slender very detailed cheek bones, her hazel brown eyes glared at me and the man I had restrained as she had her arms crossed tapping her foot seeming to be annoyed to come out to this. The room was quiet for a few minutes then the receptionist spoke up "this nice gentlemen hold Mr Farmer stop Mr Farmer from slapping me doctor." The receptionist voice was shaky like she was scared. I wondered why she had done nothing wrong. Mary sighed and gripped the bridge of her nose "could you please let go of Mr Farmer. He is a revealed patient of mine or I will call the police." I let go of his arm as he pulled away and straighten up his suit. "Know Penny who is my next appointment?" Mary asked the receptionist she then passed Mary a small folder with my name on it. Mary glared at it then looked at me "Ok Mr Goodwin if you would like to follow me we can get stared on our  session."

I followed Mary to her consultation room with was very roomie. Inside the walls where a cream colour with a large mahogany desk. A choice of wither beanbags or leather swivel chairs. I choose the swivel chairs. Mary sat opposite me giving me a fake smile as if to say you can talk to me. "So George you don't mind me call you George do you." She asked I shook my head "No you can call me G or George I don't mind." I smiled back as I leaned back in the chair. She looked at my folder then back at me. "Well George you have quiet the folder is it nightmare of your past your having problems with it ok if it is. All we talk about stays in this room unless I think someone else can help." I sighed already knowing she was going to ask me that. Since I had been to over a hundred crime scenes and seen many gruesome and horrifying ways people have either murdered people in or killed in the selves in. "No I'm not hear to talk about that I'm coping quiet well in that respect. I wanted to talk about someone your know Mary I can call you Mary right." I smiled her face looked confuse but interested in what I was saying as she took note mostly saying I was in denial.

"Yes you can call me Mary. Who are you talking about in respects to me?" I could see the her mind working as she tried to figure out who I was talking about this put a smile on my face as I pulled out the picture. "Who your friend Violet. I mean she told me to see you. Well that was before my boss told the doctor to kill her." Mary face lost all its fake happiness as I showed fear, resentment and sorrow. "How did you know I knew her I made sure that no one knew after what she did." Mary fired as tears started to fall from her face. "Violet told me to talk to you about the question I had about her killing the mayors son before she died." Mary looks at me as if I was talking an alien langue "that's impossible the newspapers said nothing about that. No your pulling my leg wanting to see me crack Dr. Moss put you up to this he hates me for how far I have some in such short time yes Moss put you up to this." Mary chuckled. Something I said must have made her crack and badly I knew nothing of a Dr. Moss I tried to speak by she wouldn't let me. Slowly she started to freak me out with she sudden laugher and stare. I decide to leave and look into the Dr.Moss she talked off.
