Mary Celeste, International Waters

Angela undergoes the surgical procedure which involves the implantation of two microchips: one at the base of her cerebellum and the other in her spinal cord, functions of which are augmented by the human stem cell's regenerative capabilities. After a harrowing ordeal of undergoing the procedure, it is finally successful and Angela recovers her mobility astonished at the miraculous results which boost her self-confidence as proposed by Meachum. She is also provided with an Exo suit which Meachum explains will help her to navigate for underwater explorations and combat the initial muscular atrophy set in due to her decade-long paralysis. They soon reach the Oreshek Fortress as Meachum instructs his team headed by Angela to prepare for a dive to scrutinize the supposed location of the decrepit remains of the U-boat and retrieve the mutagen. Angela armed with her exo-suit along with a few divers ventures out into the unknown abyssal depths where they find all that Meachum had promised and more than what had they initially bargained for. They discover the sunken remains of The Nautilus, The Marianne, and the U-boat which has been leaking the mutagen from its port side although at regular intervals. As the team investigates the wreckage of the different submersibles, miles above the surface The Mary Celeste is suddenly jolted on its side by an unknown force which leaves some of the passengers onboard terrified and clasp for safety. A few members from the various media team accompanying the group are thrown overboard leaving them stranded in the middle of the dark ocean when they suddenly disappear without a trace with blood-curling screams in their wake serving as the creature's feast. Angela and her team resurface when Meachum pacifies everyone by saying that it was a simple underwater volcanic eruption that had led to the disaster leaving Angela not entirely convinced.
