"Thank you so much," Kai says as she grabs the chai latte from Paige's hands. Kai gives Paige a small kiss on her cheek before immediately taking a big sip of her drink.

"Alright now, come on." Paige groans, she grabs Kai wrist pulling her closer to her before kissing her lips. Paige pulls away with foam on her lips.

"Sorry," Kai laughs as she wipes the foam away. Paige sticks her tongue out, licking Kai's finger. "Paiguh!" She yells out, yanking her finger back before wiping it on the blondes shirt. Paige laughs.

"You're a child." Kai snarls out, turning her back to Paige. Paige throws her head back.

"Ma," Paige says, wrapping her arm around Kai's waist. Kai's stomach erupts in butterflies at the word of choice. Kai shakes it off and slaps Paige's arm.

"You can never let me stay mad at you," Kai whispers before successfully prying Paige's arm off of her just before the rest of the girls walked in.

The girls get on the bus to take them to the airport for their game in New Jersey verses Seton Hall.

Kai sits on the sidelines as the game starts, taking a few pictures here and there. She looks around the gym, it was giving very much high school vibes in her opinion.

Kai lets out an 'oo' as Paige makes a perfect three pointer. She looks at the score board, it was 14-9 and 4 left in the quarter. Kai groans as Aaliyah misses her shot from her foul, but making the second one.

Aaliyah gets fouled, again. Kai lets out a laugh watching the girls fight for the rebound off of the missed layups. Kai scoffs as KK gets a foul in the second quarter.

The third quarter starts with UConn in the lead. Kai puts her camera away, having more than enough pictures for this game. Kai gasps and stands up as bodies collide.

Kai watches as Paige stays on the floor, practically withering in pain. She resists the urge to run out onto the court just as Paige gets help and goes to the bench.

Kai is next to the blonde with no hesitation, "are you okay?" Kai whispers into her ear. Paige nods.

"KK has a hard head." Paige jokes in the girls ear. She lets out a laugh before looking at her forehead, seeing the red marks there.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Kai questions, playing with the bottom of the blondes hair.

"I'm fine. Stop worrying, Ma," Kai rolls her eyes, Paige getting called by Geno before Kai could respond.

Kai runs onto the court, giving the girls a hug as a congratulations for their win. Paige grabs Kai for a one-on-one hug, "you just did a season high," Kai murmurs, brushing a subtle kiss to Paige's cheek.

"You have a present for me?" Paige asks slyly. Kai smirks before pinching the blonde making her yelp. Kai laughs at the noise, getting an unimpressed look from Paige.

"C'mon, it was pretty funny." Kai says, tilting her head slightly toward Paige who gives in and cracks a smile. The girls leave the gym and head into the visitor locker room. "So proud of you all," Kai announces to the team. They exchange looks before dowsing her in water.

"I hate you all." Kai yells, shivering from the cold water. KK slings her arm around Kai's shoulder.

"You love us."

The girls cheer as they enter the club for a post game celebration. Kai heads straight to the bar, needing something to drink. She smiles at the girl bartender, "can I get a sex on the beach, please?" The bartender nods with a wink, catching Kai off guard.

As the bartender expertly mixed the drink, her eyes locked onto Kai's. "You know, you're the most stunning woman in here tonight."

Kai laughs, feeling a flutter in her chest. "Thanks, I think."

The bartender hands Kai her drink, their fingers brushing against each other, "on the house, I'm Sandra."

Kai smiles at the girl, "aww thank you, I'm Kai." The bartender, Sandra, nods.

Paige laughs at something Nika says before looking over at the bar seeing Kai still there.

Kai has a big smile on her face, something the bartender said made her smile. Paige's face turns sour, a feeling of jealousy in her stomach. She clenches her jaw as Kai throws her head back with a laugh before gingerly touching the bartenders arm.

Paige gets up and storms to the bar, "hey, ma." She says, hugging Kai from behind.

"Paige, this is Sandra. She gave me a free drink!" Kai yells over the loud music. Paige cuts a glare to the bartender. "Sandra, this is Paige!" Kai says pointing to the blonde that was right behind her.

"Let's go dance," Paige whispers in her ear. Kai shakes her head.

"You go ahead, I'm gonna stay and talk with Sandra." Kai tells her.

Paige lowly groans before going out on the dance floor. Paige smirks as she sees a girl dancing by herself to the beat of the music. She casts a look to the bar to see Kai looking over at her every so often.

Paige stalks to the girl that was dancing by herself before practically grinding her body against the girl. Kai zones out as she watches Paige lewdly dance with this random girl. "Kai? Are you listening?" Kai shakes her head and turns to Sandra.

"Sorry, I have to go." Kai says before grabbing her purse and heading outside. Kai sighs as the cold air hits her face, instantly calming her down.

"Kai," Kai turns around seeing the blonde in all her glory.

"Paige." Paige lets out a chuckle, she closes the drastic distance between them.

"Why'd you leave? Thought you were having fun." Paige comments, "let's go back to the dance floor, ma."

Kai scoffs, "why? So I can watch you dry hump a stranger?" The statement came out harsher than she intended to but it got her point across. Paige chews the inside of her cheek.

"You were getting pretty handsy with that bartender. What was her name again? Sandy?" Paige taunts.

"Is thee Paige Madison Bueckers jealous?" Kai asks with a smirk. Paige purses her lips at the brunette before nodding. "Poor, P."

Paige smiles, grabbing Kai's waist and pulling her into a kiss. Kai's arms go around Paige's neck as their lips moved in sync. Kai's eyes widen as she realizes that they were outside for anybody to see. She pulls away, "later," she says with a wink before heading back into the bar.

The next game came quickly. "Stop," Kai tells Paige as her head kept moving while she was doing her hair. Kai finishes the braids, she reaches her hand into Paige's hair and gives it a nice pull making her whimper. "Oops!"

Paige glares at her, seeking some sort of revenge. Before she was unable to think of a plan, they had to start the game. "I'll get you for that, Slade." Kai gives her a wink and goes to the gym to sit on the bench.

UConn was in the lead for most, if not all, of the game leading to bench players getting minutes on the court. Kai cheers for her players as the final buzzer went off.

Kai pouts as she walks to KK and giving her a hug, "you played good," she whispers into her ear. KK nods, reciprocating the hug. Kai gives KK a smile letting her go off to the locker room.

"Cute costume," Paige says gesturing to the superhero costume Kai had on.

"I love matching the themes, sue me." Kai retorts, crossing her arms over her chest. Paige laughs and pulls the girl into a side hug before leading them to the locker room. "Don't you dare pour me with water again." Kai says walking into the locker room to warn the girls not to do any funny business.

The girls laugh and nod, "hair?" Paige asks, pointing to the braids in her hair. Kai nods and sits down with Paige in front of her. She takes down Paige's hair, giving her the head massage she so desperately needed.

Kai retracts her fingers from Paige's head, earning a groan. "Don't stop." Paige begs. Kai laughs and shakes her head.

"You guys coming to my room?" Kai asks and some of the girls nod.

Kai lays on the bed with her bowl a fruit before Paige comes through the door. "Hi, P." Kai greets. Paige gives a nod before climbing up on the bed and taking the bowl of fruit. "Wanna watch this show with me? I've been wanting to see it for a while." Kai questions. Paige gives a hum and a shrug of her shoulders.

"What's wrong?" Kai wonders, noticing the girl being quieter than usual.

"Nothing," Paige answers simply, plopping a grape in her mouth. Kai rolls her eyes before turning the show 'Bones' on.

"I would be goated at forensic anthropology." Kai says as Paige passes a basketball to her. Kai dribbles the ball, going in between her legs. She throws the ball towards the hoop, it going in swiftly.

"Be a forensic anthropologist." Paige tells her as if it were something as easy as buying a shirt. Paige rebounds the ball before making a shot herself.

"I can't believe the season is almost over, just a few more months." Kai says as she goes to shoot the ball, it circles the rim before falling out.

"You'll get it next time, Dr. Slade." Paige teases. Kai gives an unimpressed look before forcefully throwing the ball at the blonde who caught it with ease.

"I'm gonna catch you off guard one day," Kai points at Paige who raises her hands in surrender. Kai laughs watching Paige shoot from the three point line, the ball missing the hoop. "Oh my god," Kai whispers out while Paige groans and puts her head in her hands.

"That was embarrassing." Paige groans out. Kai laughs loudly, falling onto the floor. "It ain't that funny," Paige says watching the brunette roll around on the floor.

"It was pretty funny." Kai defends as she sits up on the floor. Paige nods and sits down next to her. "My shins hurt." Kai informs the blonde.

"The hot tub can help with that, y'know." Paige tells her. Kai nods grabbing a piece of the blondes hair. "You like doing that." She points out.

"Doing what?" Kai questions.

"Playing with my hair."

Kai releases the strand of hair, "sorry, I can stop."

Paige smiles, "no, I like it."

Kai returns a smile and grabs the strand again, moving it between her fingers. "Your hair is so soft." She compliments.

Paige blushes softly, "thanks."
