"Stop moving," Kai says holding Paige's jaw to stop her from moving. Paige groans as she tries to break free from Kai's grip. Kai rolls her eyes, tempted to poke Paige's eye with the makeup brush in her hand.

"Do you want to go to practice looking like someone mauled you?" Kai asks making Paige shut up and lets her work in silence— for the most part.

"You could've just, I don't know, like not do it on my neck." Paige says. Kai purses her lips, looking at the blonde.

"Maybe I just won't kiss you ever again." Kai warns making Paige panic.

"What?! No!" She says quickly. Kai laughs at the girl before continuing with the color corrector. "What does that do?" Paige asks.

"This," Kai explains holding up the color corrector, "neutralizes the bruises color. Green cancels out red, and all that. It helps hide the hickey." Paige nods acting like she knew what Kai was talking about. She never really got into the whole makeup thing.

"Thanks for doing this." Paige says. Kai hums as she grabs the lightest concealer she had, hoping it would match Paige's skin tone. Kai lets out a sigh as the concealer looks pretty close to Paige's skin tone.

"I'm the reason that you have these hickeys in the first place." Kai points out. Paige smirks, moving Kai's hair to look at the girls neck.

"I got you pretty good too, though." Paige smirks, admiring the marks on Kai. She rolls her eyes and tugs up Paige's basketball shorts revealing the many hickeys on her thighs. Kai laughs, not knowing how many hickeys she actually left but it was a lot. "You are crazy."

"Try not to touch your neck at practice, the sweat could cause it to run and then you could accidentally wipe it off." Kai warns as she uses setting powder to hopefully lock the concealer in. "I'm not going to be at practice so you have to be careful not to smudge this."

Paige looks at her in confusion, "why aren't you going to be at practice?" She asks. Kai sets down the makeup brush that was in her hand.

"I'm meeting up with some people for media things." Kai answers. She honestly didn't know who or what she was doing, just that Geno told her about it. Paige nods, grabbing her phone.

Kai turns away, going to cover her hickeys that littered her neck. "Why are you covering yours up?" Paige asks with a pout. Kai turns her head to see Paige retract her pout.

"Can't show up to my meeting with your markings from last night." Kai smirks. Paige blushes before busying herself in her phone. "You have practice." Kai reminds her as time goes by. Paige groans as she grabs her bag. "Byeeeee!" Kai yells out with a smile.

Paige smirks at the girl before kissing her cheek and heading out for practice. Kai finishes doing her makeup, doing a little updo with her hair before grabbing her purse. "I have purse." Kai jokes before walking out of her dorm room.

Kai takes a deep breath as she sets her purse down, grabbing her planner and laptop. There was still five minutes until the meeting officially started. Kai stands up as the door opens revealing James Pitaro, ESPN Chairman, Dennis Page, CEO of Slam Media, and Eric Shanks, CEO of Fox Sports.

"Welcome everyone. I'm glad to have the opportunity to represent the UConn women's basketball team. Let's get started." Kai says with a warm smile as they all take seats at the table.

"Our team has a very unique dynamic." Kai starts. She hands out folders of the players stats. "With everyone having injuries, we still have one of the best teams in the country."

The guys around her nod, showing interest in what she was dishing out to them. "Not only do we have the phenomenon that is Paige Bueckers, we have Azzi Fudd, despite her injury she is still a big part of the team. Nika Mühl came to the University of Connecticut all the way from Croatia, showing her determination for basketball. Aaliyah Edwards, she is a beast in all that she does."

"Do you think you will win the national championship this year?" James Pitaro asks, discarding the file of stats. Kai lets out a breath.

"I do believe we have a good shot at it, I don't want to jinx anything." Kai answers.

"We'll be in touch."

Kai groans as she watches them leave the conference room. Kai gathers her stuff and heads to the gym where the girls were still practicing. She walks into the gym seeing the girls scrimmaging.

Kai watches as Paige uses her shirt to wipe the sweat off of her neck. Kai's eyes widen as the purple marks pop out against her pale skin tone. She cringes as KK was the first to notice the marks on her neck. "Okay so boom, Paige got attacked!"

Paige's hand goes up to her neck, the concealer transferring to her hands. Everyone huddles around the blonde, prying her hands off of her neck to look at the hickeys. "You!" KK yells as her eyes find Kai's.

Kai sucks in a breath before running off to her office to get away from the girls. Kai laughs before rounding the corner to go to her office, getting blocked by Jana. "Et tu, Jana?"

KK grabs ahold of Kai's shoulder preventing her from running before wiping her neck. "You guys-" KK starts before Kai puts her hand over her mouth.

"Shut up, Kamorea Arnold." Kai warns, her eyebrows raised at the girl. KK nods and Kai retracts her hand from the girls mouth. KK smirks.

"Kaige is real!" KK yells before running off with Kai on her feet.

"You are so dead!"

"I think I fucked it up, P." Kai says, referencing to the meeting. "I mean, they were only there for like ten minutes before leaving."

"I'm sure they just weren't expecting you to be so educated." Aubrey tells her trying to cheer her up about it. Kai gives her a smile.

"I love you, AubDawg." Kai responds. Aubrey smiles before winking to Paige, trying to rile her up. "Be nice." Kai laughs, catching the wink Aubrey gave to Paige.

Aubrey puts her hands up in faux surrender. Kai stands up from her seat on the couch to grab a bottle of water when Paige sat down, stealing her spot making her basketball shorts ride up exposing the many more hickeys that covered her thighs. "Nice bruises." Azzi jokes while pointing to Paige's thighs.

Paiges cheeks burned with embarrassment. Not that she was embarrassed of kissing Kai or anything but that her teammates know what they did behind closed doors. "You are freaky!" KK laughs, taking the bottle from her and drinking out of it. Kai rolls her eyes before snatching the bottle back.

"Those are just the ones you can see." Kai taunts making KKs mouth drop. Kai lets out a loud laugh, making Paige scoot over so she could sit down.

"Or you could just sit on my lap." Paige suggests making KK fake gag.

"No way, you guys will start getting freaky."

"Kamorea Arnold, I will throw you out of this room!" Kai shouts, throwing the bottle of water at her who catches it with ease.

"Feisty!"
