"I have to go somewhere. Stay here okay..."Shu says, kissing my forehead before he turned to leave... Again...

"Okay... Careful. Uh.. And get me some gummy bears when you get back okay."I forced a smile, hiding this weird feeling inside my head and heart. I was worried he might be cheating on me or so. But I wanted to trust him as well. My mind and heart were like playing a game of tug-of-war while i'm here, strangled. Mind filled with curiosity and weird thoughts.

I was zoning out. Staring at the window with my blank, and emotionless eyes. My heart was pounding fast and my vision looks like it had been doubled or so. I was palpitating. I tried to keep myself calm at all times but with Shu stuck on my mind. I don't know what else to do.

He might have not gone that far does he? I could still follow him or so... But I have to trust him.

I'm about to go crazy from all this thoughts entering my mind. For some cases...

I jumped out of my chair, Dashing out of the room then running down the corridor where I hear some faint footsteps echoing down the hallway. His shoes were rather noisy compared to mine.

I continued to search for his presence. Running from left to right in search of the person that's making me crazy. My vision were blurry and my chest felt heavy but I dont care at all. I continued searching for him... Until finally, I caught a glimpse of his arm swaying from the left corridor then disappearing again.

I stopped running to breathe for a while, and of course, I tried to wear my stealth mode so Shu won't notice me or so.

I clutched the wall, slowly peeking through the corridor. Searching, searching. But Shu was nowhere to be found.

"I guess it was just my imagination... But i'm certain I did saw his arm from this direction. Where could he have been?"I heave out a sigh, looking around just to make sure he didn't teleport to somewhere else.

Until...

I heard his footsteps once more. It was faint but I know it was close by. That's when I realize there was a basement just right ahead of the corridor. But what is his business down there?

I walked slowly and cautiously, looking around the window with the sun scorching, a burst of orange and red scattering around the horizon. A perfect time to do something inhumane.—

Stupid! Why would you think of that?! I guess it's just part of my system.

My left hand were brushing the walls of the corridor. I continued to walk till I saw the door to the basement. It was slightly open and you can barely see anything because of the darkness.

Good grief the only part where there ain't any source of light was the stairs. But of course it's still a bit dangerous because you might trip and in the end you'll fall and die.

I slowly opened the door. A creaking sound was heard and it made me felt a bit oblivious and cautious. If I can hear his footsteps from afar, why won't he hear this door creaking? But he doesn't seem bothered at some ways.

I brushed the thought off my head and continued on my way. Cautiously stepping on each step of the stairs.

"Ah! That was close..." I almost slip from the stairs due to that stupid water droplet. Or was it water? I thought I felt it was a bit sticky...

I heave out a sigh until I finally caught a glimpse of light. It was probably candlelight since the movement of the light and its color was a candle's signature. Orange. Like the scorching sun earlier.

I continued to descend down the stairs until I finally felt the end of the stairs. I'm finally down here in the basement where I saw Shu.

"Huh?"I peered in this one certain room where the candle was lit. I headed towards the room where I knew Shu was in.

I stopped for a moment.

"Valt~ I know you're out there."His voice were rather... Creepy yet inviting. My hands were shaking. "I wanna show you something."

I shake the thoughts off my head and step in front of the doorstep. My eyes were shut close, looking down, without even glancing at Shu.

"Valt Open Your Eyes."

I slowly opened my eyes in his command.

Blood.

"I thought you wanted a toy for your birthday tomorrow. Here's an advance birthday gift for you. Happy Birthday~"Shu smiles, giving a kiss on my cheeks.

My eyes widened, slowly walking towards them. I kneeled down. I didn't expect Shu would do this...

"Shu..."I turned to him. A smirk formed on my face,"How did you know..."

"I know you so much. Just a little something for you."Shu smiled, staring at the sharp object he was holding close to his chest. Blood was covering his arms and hands.

"Shu. I also have a gift for you."I smiled, walking towards a curtain, rather a door covered by this worn out curtains.

"Huh?"Shu raised an eyebrow.

"Do you like Science?"I smiled slyly.

I think he understood what I meant so he smiled back,"Yeah. Why?"

"I have a full set of the human head in my secret room..."I pulled out the key to that room and unlocked it.
