Y/N's POV 

Dream 

"Where am I?" 
I asked myself as I slowly looked around to see that I was standing in front of a lake. 

"I'm back here. Why?" 
I asked myself as I looked around. Seeing nobody around as the flowers blew with the wind. 

"Am I dead?" 
I asked myself before turning around to face the lake. Seeing the sunlight reflect off of the water. 

???: Y/N. 
I heard a familiar voice before slowly turning around to see her again. 

Third Person POV 

Y/N: You. 
He growled as a woman with blonde hair and red eyes in a brown dressing, wearing bits of armor stood in front of him. 

???: Y/N... 
The woman muttered softly as she looked at the ground with her dulled eyes. 

Y/N: You dare show your face again. 
He growled as he drew his sword, gripping his tightly before charging at the woman. 

???: Just let me explain. 
She muttered softly as Y/N charged at her. His sword cutting down the flowers as he charged at her. A purple aura slowly surrounding him as he charged at her. His sword raising above his head as she slowly looked up at him. Revealing her tearful eyes as he glared down at her. 

???: I'm sorry. 

SLASH 

The woman fell to the ground as blood spilled all over the flowers. Spilling all over the flower as some ran down Y/N's clothes. 

???: Avenge us. 
A voice muttered as Y/N slowly turned his head to see Metera standing across from him with 7 others. 

???: I'm sorry. 
Another voice muttered as a pair of arms wrapped around his chest. His head turning to the side to see the same woman he cut down. Feeling her arms around him as she pressed her head into his shoulder. 

???:  Forgive me. Forgive me Y/N. 
She muttered once more before falling onto the bloodied flowers.

???: Avenge us. Avenge all of us. 

Somewhere Else 

???: What happened to you Artoria? 
A man with long blond hair and green eyes asked as Artoria was cleaning her wound. 

Artoria: Just cleaning myself up. 
She said as she tapped a wet towel against her wound. 

???: From the child you've took in all those years ago? 
He asked as he looked at her. 

Artoria: It's nothing to worry about Michael. 
She said as she continued to clean her wound. 

Michael: Are you sure? I sense a powerful entity inside him. Something animalistic. 
He said as he looked at her. 

Artoria: It's nothing to worry about. 
She said once again before hearing a door creak as the two turned around to see Y/N. 

Artoria: I'd thought you'll be asleep in again. 
She said as she looked at him. 

Y/N: I need to meet with someone at the school. 
He said as he held his backpack over his shoulder. 

Artoria: Do you need me to take you? 
She asked as Y/N shook his head. 

Y/N: I've got it. No need to worry about me. 
He said before looking at Michael. 

Y/N: Who are you? 
He asked as Artoria looked at him. 

Michael: Just an old friend visiting Artoria. 
He said as Y/N hummed. 

Y/N: Sorry for intruding on you two. 
He said before walking out the door, leaving the two alone as Michael chuckles. 

Michael: He's a good kid .
He said as he looked at Artoria. 

Artoria: A good kid with a vengeful heart. 

Michael: I've heard of a few things from the devil's side. Something like a few peerages went missing. 
He said as Artoria tied her bandage around her wound. 

Artoria: From all the ones I've found, only Y/N was the one I've found alive. 
She said before looking at him. 

Michael: I see. Have you heard anything from the devils? 

Artoria: No. Only one I could talk to is Y/N but he's...difficult.
She said as Michael nodded. 

Michael: He'll talk when he's ready. 
He said before turning around. 

Michael: Take good care of him Artoria. 

To Y/N 

Y/N: I only missed a day of school. I probably didn't miss much. 
He thought to himself as he walked down an alley before coming to a stop. 

Y/N: Hmm... 
He scoffs as he slowly reached for his sword's hilt. 

THUD 

A small creature charged at him as Y/N turned his towards it. His E/C eyes glaring at it as it opened its mouth, revealing its needle like teeth as it charged at him. 

SLASH 

The creature crashed into the ground as Y/N sheathed his sword away. 

Y/N: That the first time I've seen these in a while. The first time since then. 
He thought to himself as he stood by the creature. 

Y/N: Why now. Why do you suddenly show up now. 

???: YOU! 
A familiar voice called out as Y/N turned his head to see Issei. 

Y/N: What is it. 
He said as he looked at him. 

Issei: Where were you!? Rias wants to see you. 
He told him as Y/N chuckles. 

Y/N: Just the one I was going to go meet. 
He said as Issei looks at him with confusion. 

Issei: Wait, what? 

Y/N: I was going to see her anyway. Let's go. 
He said as he approached him. 

Issei: O-Okay. 
He said as he walked with him, looking at him as Y/N kept to himself. 

Issei: I need to keep an eye on him. 
He said as Y/N looked at him. 

Y/N: What. 

Issei: N-Nothing. 
He said as he looked away. 

Issei: I need to watch him incase he does anything to them. 
He thought to himself as he continued to walk with Y/N to Kuoh. 

Issei: Y/N? 
He asked as he looked at him. 

Y/N: What is it. 

Issei: How do you know Rias? 

Y/N: Who doesn't know Rias Gremory. 
He answered as Issei looked at him. 

Issei: What?
He asked as Y/N looked at him. 

Y/N: What devil doesn't know Rias Gremory. 

Issei: Oh... 
He said as the two approached a building. 

Issei: This is it. 
He said before opening the door and walked into the building as Y/N followed him. 

???: My lady, Lord Riser, since I am here by order of Sir Zechs, I will not hold back one iota. 
A voice was heard behind a door as Y/N looked at Issei with confusion. 

Y/N: Lord Riser? Sir Zechs? What's going on Issei. 
He asked as he looked at him. 

Issei: I don't know... 
He said before opening the door, seeing a man with blonde hair in a red suit standing in front of Rias. 

Man in Red: When told such a thing by the one, known as the ultimate queen, even I become fearful.
He said sarcastically as he looked at a woman with grey hair. 

Grey Haired Woman: My master anticipated that something like this would happen. As such, he has assigned me a last resort, should things break down. 
She said as the two lords looked at her. 

Rias: Last resort? What do you mean, Grayfia? 
She asked as Y/N looked at Issei. 

Y/N: Why is Grayfia here. 
He muttered to Issei as he shrugged. 

Issei: I don't know why. I don't know who she is. 
He whispered as Y/N shook his head. 

Grayfia: If my lady is that insistent on following through with her wishes, she is to settle this with Lord Riser via a Rating Game. 

Issei: Rating Game? 
He asked as Y/N grit his teeth. 

Issei: Y/N? 
He asked as Y/N groaned loudly. 

Y/N: I'll be outside. 
He groaned louder before stumbling out the room as Issei looked at him. 

Issei: What the hell was that. 

Y/N's POV 

???: Let me out and I'll kill them all. I'll kill them and bring them to your knees. 
His voice rung through my head as I leaned against a wall. 

???: Let me out and I'll kill them all. So you won't go through this waste of a game. 
His voice growled louder. 

"Never." 
I groaned as he slowly formed in front of me. 

Purple veins running down his body as his E/C eyes looked at me. His large sword strapped to his back as he crossed his arms. His armor scrapping against each other as he looked at me. 

???: Let me out and I'll kill Slan and those who follow her. 
He said with a grin. 

"Never." 
I told him as he smirked before standing by my side. 

???: You will. You always will. 
He said as I growled at him. 

???: Just like before, you'll be the cause of their deaths.
