Third Person POV 

Flashback 

THUD 

???: H-Help me. 
A voice rung throughout a dim room as a stranger limped down a hall. 

THUD 

???: H-Help me mistress. 
The voice rung out as a flicker of thunder lit up the room. Showing bits of bodies everywhere as the stranger limped down the hall, leaning against a wall. 

THUD 

???: Mistress Slan. Help me. 
The voice begged as the thudding got louder. Hearing a wolf-like growl outside of the hall. Hearing a steel blade drag along the floor. Hearing it scratch the flooring as each thud got louder. 

???: P-Please help me mistress. D-D-Don't l-l-let that....creature get me. 
The voice begged as tears slowly ran down it's cheek. 

SHANK 

???: GAH! 
The stranger gasped as he lifted into the air, seeing nothing but the ceiling as he felt a large steeled blade in his side. 

???: H-H-How could y-you. 
The stranger gasped before being flung outside of the house and crashing into the mud outside. 

???: H-H-How d-d-did you survive. 
He gasped as he slowly looked up, his eyes widening as the man stood over him as his hand gripped his throat. Seeing his blood red eyes as his hand tightened around his throat. 

???: Y-Y-You monster. 
The stranger gasped as the man raised his large steel blade into the air. 

SHANK 

Flashback Ends 

???: Y/N. 
A voice called out as Y/N looked at Issei, seeing him hold a large bag over his head. 

Y/N: What is it Issei. 
He said as he walked with him. 

Issei: You look like you just saw a ghost. 
He said as Y/N remained silent. 

Issei: Y/N? 

Y/N: I'm fine. It's nothing. 
He said as the two of them stopped in front of a large manor. 

Asia: Wow, fantastic! 
She yelled in awe as Issei looked at it with awe. 

Rias: Let's head inside and start training right away. 
She said before walking towards the manor. 

Issei: Training right away? 
He asked as he looked at her. 

Issei: President, you really are a fiend. 
He said as Rias looked at him. 

Rias: A devil. 
She said as the others walked to the manor, leaving Y/N as he walked past Rias. 

Rias: Y/N. 
She said as Y/N stopped in front of her. 

Rias: Sorry to bring you into this mess. 
She said as Y/N shook his head. 

Y/N: I've came for your help. It's only fair I do the same .
He said as he looked at the manor, closing his eyes as he grit his teeth. 

Rias: Are you okay? 
She asked as Y/N sighed heavily, seeing him crush his fists. 

Y/N: I'll go get ready. 
He said as he walked away from Rias. 

Time-Skip 

Kiba: Lesson one... 
He said as he stood in front of Issei while Y/N sat on the side, holding a wooden sword as he looked at them. 

Issei: That being said - 
He said before charging at Kiba, raising his sword above his head Kiba raised his sword into a defensive stance. 

THUD 

Kiba: Not like that. 
He said before blocking a slash from Issei. 

Y/N: Hmm... 
He hummed to himself as he looked at the two duelers. 

Y/N: That's not how you fight with a sword. 
He thought to himself as Kiba struck Issei's sword out of his hands. 

Issei: That's a knight for you. 
He said as Y/N slowly stood up. 

Rias: Where are you going? 
She asked as the others looked at him. 

Y/N: I'm going to train by myself. 
He said as the others continued to look at him. 

Issei: Hey, why is he going away? Isn't he going to train with us? 
He asked as the others remained silent. 

Asia: What's wrong with him? 
She asked as the others looked at her. 

Koneko: Who knows. 
She said as Asia looked away. 

Rias: What is it Asia. 
She said as she continued to look at Y/N, seeing him hold his wooden sword on his shoulder as he walked into a forested area. 

Asia: N-Nothing. 
She said as she twiddled with her fingers. 

Koneko: Let's just focus on training Issei. 
She said as the others nodded. 

Issei: Hey! I'm not that weak! 

To Y/N 

Y/N's POV 

"What the hell am I doing here. 
I thought to myself as I walked into a small clearing, surrounded by trees as rays of sunlight poked through the thick leaves. 

"Why am I with a Gremory." 

"Why am I not training myself to get stronger." 

"Why am I not training with Artoria to get stronger." 

"Strong enough to kill Slan." 
I thought to myself as I stood in the clearing.

???: Yes, why work with the gremory when you have me. 
I heard a familiar voice as I slowly turned around to see myself. Seeing myself but in armor as he glared at me. 

"You." 
I growled as I looked at him, seeing him smirk. 

???: Your answer is simple. Let me out and I'll kill the rest of her followers. It's really that simple Y/N. 
He said with a grin as he gripped his hilt. 

???: Just like you did before. 
He said as I felt a sharp pain in my head. 

???: Don't lie to yourself. You very well remember what you did then. 

Third Person POV 

Flashback 

THUD 

A loud roar was heard as Y//N knelt on the ground, holding a woman with pink hair in his arms as the men slowly surrounded him. Their eyes glaring at him as they grinned widely.

???: Let's kill the boy and we can take the girl for ourselves. 
One commented as the others nodded, grinning as they approached the lone swordsman. 

???: Give us the girl and we might spare your life. 
One said as another pulled out a large sword, seeing the girl fall onto the ground as Y/N stared at her. 

???: Good boy. 
One said as one slowly raised his sword above his head. 

SLASH 

???: NO! 
One screamed as Y/N now stood up, wielding his large steel blade as the others looked at him with shock. 

???: I-I-I thought h-his arm was broken. 
Another commented with fear as Y/N growled, a black scale-like armor slowly forming around him. Blood slowly running down his arm and onto the girl's face as he stared them down. 

???: W-W-What the hell is this. 

???: Kill them all Y/N. Make them all suffer. Make them all suffer as they made you suffer. 
A dark voice called out as the others looked at Y/N with fear. Seeing his red eyes glowing in the dark forest, hearing an inhuman growl. 

Flashback Ends 

Y/N: I'll never use it again. 
He said as his darker self chuckled. 

???: Y/N. 
A voice called out as Y/N turned around to see Rias looking at him. 

Y/N: What is it. Why did you follow me. 

Rias: To uphold our deal. 
She said as red aura formed around her. 

Y/N: A deal for a deal.
