After helping Luz off the floor again, the three of them decided to grab a bite to eat before returning Amity to Blight Manor.

"Now, Lucenda, I know you have eaten human food for a long time, so I want to try and ease you back into our food." Lilith said, before she mumbled, "But that won't be hard, you were never picky when you were four."

"Besides, maybe you'll like the food here better now that your bile sack in unsealed." Amity said as they came to the equivalent of a fast-food place, Slug Burger.

"Oh, Boiling Isles version of McDonalds." Luz said.

"McDonalds?" Amity and Lilith asked.

"I'll tell you guys later. Let's get something." Luz said as they walked into the restaurant.

The staff bowed when they saw Lilith.

"Your majesty." They said.

"Mom, have you been here before?" Luz whispered to Lilith.

"I... might've saved this place from a robbery." Lilith said.

"And Ms. Lilith was our number one customer! Loyal for over 20 years!" An employee said, making Lilith blush.

"20 years?" Luz said as she looked over her mother, wondering where all that fast food weight is. "Dang, mom. You gotta tell me your secret."

"Well, for 9 months, you were involved."

"And the other 19 years?" Luz asked.

"Just...small orders for lunch and dinner whenever I didn't have time to cook when I returned home." Lilith said with a small blush, "I also train a lot, so I lose weight easily."

'I'll have to keep that in mind.' Amity thought as they reached the counter and looked at the menu above.

"So, what are you girls thinking about getting?"

"This is my first time here, so I don't know." Luz said as she looked to her mother. "What do you suggest, mom?"

"Well, since this is your first time here, a normal slugburger would be suggested." Lilith said.

"Then I'll get that." Luz said.

"I think I'll have Newt, Lettuce, and Tomato." Amity said.

"Alrighty them and for you, Ms. Lilith?" The cashier asked as he put the orders in.

"I'll have the usual, a double slugburger with small Escarfries." Lilith said.

"Alright, we'll have that right up."

"Good, girls, why don't you go get a table while I pay." Lilith said.

Amity and Luz nodded to her as they headed for table near the window of the restaurant.

"So, have you been here before?" Luz asked.

"A few times but I try not to make it a habit, fast food isn't that good for every meal." Amity said.

"Nice to know that's the same throughout dimensions." Luz said.

"Speaking of dimensions, can you tell me a bit of the human world?" Amity asked.

"Well, it's... boring."

"Boring?" Amity asked.

"I mean....just normal. Blue skies, green forests, and blue oceans but no magic. They have a sort of standard in all places of normal and I sort of didn't fit it." Luz said to Amity.

"Sounds weird."

"Hehe, isn't that ironic? This place is the weirdest I've seen yet here, it's normal." Luz said as Lilith came over with their food. "Any way, in the human world, the weather is deadly sometimes but not to the extent it is here."

"How so?"

"Well, our Rain doesn't boil. Although sometimes it can contain high levels of acid, but that's mostly due to human intervention."

"Okay?" Amity said, not knowing what the human intervention was.

"Another form of weather is the rain becomes frozen, it's called "hail."" Lilith said as she gave Luz her Slugburger and Amity her N.L.T.

"You've been to the Human Realm?" Luz asked.

"Yes, a few times. I was meeting your mother's family."

'I wonder why grandma and grandpa never mentioned her then.' Luz thought as Lilith sat down.

"Now, let's eat."

From that point, the trio are the fast food to fill their bellies after their first training lesson together. Luz found the slug based burger surprisingly good as she chews more eagerly.

"Just like when you were in my belly, you enjoy those burgers." Lilith said.

"I can see why. It's so tender yet moist." Luz said as she took another bite.

"I won't argue with that." Lilith said.

"I personally prefer the N.L.T. over the Slugburger." Amity said as she took a bite of her sandwich.

"It is one of the healthier options." Lilith said.

"But no one comes to fast food places for healthy. That's a little secret, some places don't make their healthy options as healthy as you think." Luz said with wink.

"Is that a human world conspiracy?" Amity asked.

"Not really a conspiracy when it's true. Don't know if it goes for here though."

"I would hope not." Lilith said.

They all ate in silence. Though as they are, a woman was peaking at them from the back area of the restaurant before they moved away to hide. She drew a spell circle to summon her scroll and made a call to someone with it.

"Master, it's me... Yes, I know but this is important... She is here, the daughter of the princess." She said into her scroll.

"Good, keep an eye on them, there's too many witnesses to do something now."

"Understood, Master Caine." She said, ending the call and putting her scroll away.
