From then, the storm raged for the rest of the night as Lilith was forced to spend the night but she was still happy. It was another night she got to spend with her Lucenda.

"You get to see my house when this storm passes. Are you ready for that?" Lilith asked, "My father spent a lot of money on it."

"Yeah, I'm ready. I've never seen a mansion before." Luz said to her mother.

"You'll love it, your room is almost as big as this entire house."

"The entire owl house?! That's a lot of room!" Luz said in surprise.

"Nothing is too good for my baby girl." Lilith said, pinching Luz's cheek.

"Mom!" Luz said with a blush but liked the affection.

It was like a piece of her that finally fought back in after she got her memories back. Lilith pulls out her staff and pats the back, motioning for Luz to get on.

"Hold on, baby."

Luz nodded as she hoped on the staff, waving goodbye to Eda and King as they saw her off.

"I'll see you for our lesson later, Aunt Eda!" Luz said as Lilith flew them away.

Eda went inside and into her room.

"King, Hooty, I need a little privacy." Eda said, "I need to make a call."

"Okay. Hoot." Hooty said.

"Sure. I'll be on the couch." King said, walking to the couch to nap.

Eda went to her room and grabbed her crystal ball, calling someone she hasn't talked to in a long time.

"Hello, dad."

"Edalyn. It is quite a surprise to see you call me. May I ask what is the occasion?" Belos asked her.

"I need to know... are you really able to heal me?"

Belos seemed to tense up.

"Edalyn, my youngest, I fear that I may have pushed you too hard. Come home and we can discuss this. I'll have the chefs prepare your favorite food."

"Dad, answer the question." Eda said, not being sidetracked by her father... this time, "I will ask again. Are. You. ABLE. To. HEAL. ME?"

"Yes, I can." He said, "I won't beat around the bush, I need to speak to you about something important. Something that I haven't even told Lilith."

"What something?" Eda asked.

"Come to the castle tonight and I will tell you both. Please, Edalyn." Belos said.

Eda knew something was wrong, her dad never used the word please.

"Okay. I'll be there. Just make sure I don't get shot on sight when I get there."

"Of course." Belos said with a smile under his mask.

He may never have shown it, especially since he isn't a family man after all the things that happened in his life, but Lilith and Eda honestly helped replace the hole in his heart.

"Alright, see you then, pops." Eda said as she ended the crystal ball call. "I wonder if Lily will bring Luz or keep her hidden."
