Chapter 5- You Smell Really Nice

Anastasia POV

Justin likes the house and it is in our price range.

1.5 million dollars

If you think that is a lot, my dad owns cost 2 million.

"So when are you guys planning to move in?" Jessica asks.

"Next month, when the heat starts", Justin says, placing his hand around my waist.

"We'll have a little welcome party, just you, your friends and us", Jessica suggests.

"Good idea", I say.

Justin looks at his watch,

"Got to go Ana, but come over at my parents' house for dinner later this evening", he says, before kissing me.

"I will", I reply.

When he leaves, Jessica suggests,"let's go check out the downstairs, where the basement supposes to be."

"Well, I got work to finish before the day is over, I'll see you later Ana", Mr. James says.

"Yeah later and I'll be just like you and dad in a little while", I reply.

"Poor Justin, have to be alone sometimes", Jessica says dramatically.

"The business will be in this country, so I wouldn't have to travel much out of the country, maybe for a meeting with dad or something", I say.

"I can't wait to babysit my grandchildren", Jessica says.

Grandchildren?

"You heard me and I want you to deliver them, no one else", she says seriously.

No one else got it.

Jessica drops me back home and I walk inside.

"You're back", Freddie says.

"Yep I am gonna hang out by the pool", I say, walking up the stairs.

I text Arlene,

Me: Come over I need someone to hang out with

Best friend" Sure, I'll bring Gabriella with me as well

Me: Sure no problem

I open my closet and take out my blue bikini, then put it on.

Then I walk downstairs to go by the pool.

"Your drink my lady", Freddie says in a British accent and I laugh.

"Why thank you", I reply and he laughs as I take the glass off the tray and put on sunglasses.

Ten minutes later

"Anne we're here!" Arlene shouts.

"She's outside", I hear Freddie say.

"Anne!" Arlene shrieks and I got up to hug her.

"Hi you just saw me yesterday", I say chuckling.

"But I missed you", she replies as I hug Gabriella.

"Hope you treating Luke good", I say to her.

"Of course", she says and sits on one of the chairs.

"So had Justin propose yet?" Arlene asks teasingly as Freddie hands her the drink.

I blush,"no."

"He will soon I can feel it", Gabriella says.

Arlene frown at her.

We laugh and talk for the next couple of hours and bathe in the pool.

"Guys I have something to tell you that I didn't tell Luke yet", Gabriella says.

"You want to get marry," I say teasingly.

She blushes,

"No am pregnant", she says.

Arlene and I hug her,

"That's great news, you have to tell Luke and soon too", I say.

"I am planning to later tonight", she says.

I hope she does because Luke would be so happy.

After they leave around 3, I meet dad in his study.

"Hi Anne, your job would start in September and I want you to have a personal assistant and a secretary at that time," he says.

"Secretary done already cover, Arlene is really good, but I'll have to set up a few interviews for a personal assistant because I don't trust people easily", I say.

"I know you don't, that's why it's going to be hard, but I'll help you", he replies.

"Thanks, dad", I say and hug him.

"Aren't you going to get ready for a special dinner with the James family?" He asks.

"It's just an original dinner dad", I say and roll my eyes.

"Just put on something nice", he says, turning back to his work.

James Resident

"Anne's here", Jessica says.

"Hi, what are you guys doing here?" I ask as I see all my friends sitting at the dining table.

"I invited them", Jessica answers.

Justin hugs me, then kisses me on the lips.

"You smell nice", he whispers.

"Really? Then I should start wearing this perfume more", I say.

"Sit please, dinner is ready to be served", Jessica says.

I sit down between Justin and Jordan,

"Tonight will be a special night", Jordan whispers to me.

Jacob smacks him behind his head and frowns at him.

Jessica hire waitresses to serve our dinner.

Lasagna, with bake chicken, rice, potato, and fresh salad.

"This looks tasty", I say, my mouth watering.

"It is, mom makes the best Lasagna in the neighborhood", Justin whispers.

I take up my fork and begin to eat.

Justin smiles at me, while he uses a napkin to wipe the side of my lip.

"Such a cute couple", Arlene says and takes out a picture.

"This is a keeper", Kyle says, next to her.

Gabriella looks kind of nervous and Luke is holding her hand and rubbing it gently.

"I have to go to the bathroom Gabriella and Arlene come with me", I say, getting up.

Gabriella and Arlene got up and we walk out of the dining room and up the stairs.

When we are out of earshot, I ask,

"Gabriella are you okay?"

"No, what if he rejects me and the baby? She says, tears starting to fill her eyes.

"Remember almost five years ago? If he hurt you I'll break his neck, I wasn't joking", Arlene says.

"Okay, I'll tell him after dessert", she says, wiping her eyes.

"Let's put back on some mascara on you, before we head back down", I suggest.

She nods and we went into the bathroom.

We walk back down the stairs and the guys are chatting noisily.

"Be quiet, the girls are back", Kyle says.

I sit back down in my seat and continue to finish eating.

"When we're finished here, we're going to take a walk in the rose garden", Justin whispers to me.

"Sounds good to me, the moon is bright tonight", I say.

Gabriella and Luke are in a deep conversation, maybe she'll tell him after dinner.

"Can't wait to move in our new house", I say.

Justin holds my hand,

"Me too", he says.

We are walking through the rose garden, holding hands.

Then we sit on a bench, Justin had his other hand in his pocket, looking nervous.

"The moon is beautiful tonight", I say breaking the silence.

"Not as beautiful as you", he says taking my hand.

I blush,"oh you flatter me", I say.

Then he got down on one knee in front of me,

"W- what are you doing?" I stutter.

He takes out a red box from his pocket and watches up to me with his eyes shining.

"Um, well I don't know how to say this", he says nervously.

I giggle,"just say it, we been friends and together for a good while now, why be nervous now?" I ask.

"Wi-will yo-"

"Hi Justin, the boys and I are going to do some diving in the pool, you want to come!" Jordan shouts, ruining the moment.

"In a while, I am very busy", Justin replies.

"Okay", Jordan says.

" Anastasia Montez, daughter of Alvin Montez, will you marry me?" Justin asks, opening the box.

I gasp,"yes, I thought you'll never ask", I say, as he put on the lovely ring.

"I thought the same as well", dad says.

"Dad, how long were you here?" I ask.

"Long enough to know that he's the right man you for you", he replies.

Justin kiss me and we walk back to the pool.

"Ready to get wet?", Justin asks, taking off his shirt.

"That what he said", I laugh.
