Valt's P.O.V.
I opened my eyes wearily. Mom was calling me to get up from downstairs. What time was it?
I looked at my alarm clock and gasped. I was going to be so late for school! And the Beyclub were supposed to be meeting on the roof before class!
I got up, got dressed, and ran out of the door in 5 minutes. Soon I was standing in front of my friends in the club on the roof. I just made it.
"What took you so long?" Wakiya demanded impatiently.
"I overslept," I replied.
Shu stared at me. "Try and be on time more often, Valt," he said.
We battled a bit before class started. All the while I kept noticing Shu was acting a bit weird, like he was hiding something from me. I decided to ask him about it after class.
We walked to class together and sat down in our usual spots, next to each other.

"Shu, can I ask you something?" I asked, as we walked up to the roof. It was after class, and we were meeting the club on the roof again.
"Sure," Shu replied.
I took a deep breath, before saying, "Are you hiding anything from me?"
"N-no. Of course not. Why would I hide anything f-from you?" Why stammered, sounding nervous.
"I don't believe you," I growled. I knew Shu had a secret, and he was doing his best to hide it. "You can tell me and the Beyclub now," I said.
Shu sighed. "Ok."
We ran up the stairs to the roof. When we got there, we saw Honcho and Wakiya battling. When they saw us come in, they stopped.
"Hey guys!" Honcho greeted us. Wakiya nodded his head in acknowledgement.
"Shu has a secret," I told everyone when they got there.
"What is it, then?" Daigo asked curiously.
"I... I don't know how to tell you," Shu said quietly.
"Spit it out," Wakiya demanded.
"I'll show you," Shu replied. He stood back, and a green light flew around him. There was a big flash, and there stood Shu.
With wolf ears and a tail.
