Shu's P.O.V
Valt stared, shocked, at me. Then turned around and began running away, screaming.
"Valt, wait!" I began to run after him, the others close behind. We ran all the way down to the school gate, where Valt stood, shivering.
"Y-you're a wolf!" he gasped breathlessly.
I nodded casually, as if it was no big deal. "Yes. I'm A wolf demon."
"B-but, how?" Valt stared up at me with his big brown eyes.
"I don't know," I shrugged. Although I did know. But it was too painful to think of.
"Are you the only one?" I heard Wakiya ask from behind me. I turned around and shook my head. "No, there are loads more around the place."
"You're so cool!" Toko and Nika squealed as they ran in front of me. "I wish we could be like you, Shu!"
I smiled at them both, then looked at Valt again, who was cowering near the wall.
"Please don't eat me!" he cried.
"I won't," I reassured him. "We don't eat humans. We eat animals, just like real wolves."
"Are you sure? You're not hungry now, are you?" Valt asked nervously.
"I'm sure. And I don't eat often. I ate a few rabbits yesterday." I smiled at Valt, who smiled back, and I knew he trusted me.

The next day, I set in class trying to concentrate on what the teacher was saying, but I couldn't. Valt's reaction to my real form had scared me; he thought I was a monster. Would other people think that? Valt calmed down after a while, but that was because I am his friend. He trusts me.
But other people might not if they found out who I really was. I would have to make sure my identity was kept a secret held inside the Beyclub.
"Shu, are you ok?" Valt asked me from across the table. I jumped, and looked at him warily. He smiled back.
"Um... yeah, I'm fine," I muttered, looking away. I felt myself blush. My heart thumped wildly inside my chest. I closed my eyes.
The bell rang for the end of the class, so I jumped up before Valt could say anything more and ran quickly out of the door, avoiding eye contact with everyone.
