The Next Day

Lillie's POV

The group of three were walking up Route 2. Its North of Hau'oli City and will lead them to Bonnie's first festival and Ash's first trial.

"We should probably set up camp for lunch," I suggested.

"Good idea, I'm starving," Ash said and guided us towards a clearing.

"We still haven't seen any Pokémon though." Bonnie said sadly. I started to get a campfire ready.

"Ash can you go get firewood please?" I asked.

"Sure," he replied. "Come on out everybody."

Litten, Zorua, Rattata, Snivy and Oshawott came out. Zorua came over to me and tried to help me cook. Oshawott got hearts in his eyes after he saw Eevee but Pikachu solves that problem. Litten and Rattata began running around. I giggled at Snivy's sigh as she found s nice place to sleep.

"Snivy do you want to come with me?" Ash asked the stubborn grass type. She nodded and walked over. Rattata and Litten followed them.

"Ash I'm coming too to find more Pokémon," Bonnie yelled and ran to catch up. Rotom was flying behind her with Eevee running under.

"Didn't feel like an adventure Dedenne?" I asked the small mouse. His answer was to fall asleep instantly. "Oshawott is it?" I asked the small blue and white Pokémon. He nodded.

"Can you fill up these pots for me?" I asked. He proceeded to charge what looked like a hydro pump. "Fill not blast!" Too late.

"Osha," he rubbed his head in embarrassment as the pot went flying. Pikachu went to go get it for me.

"You are too much like Ash." I sighed.

Ash's POV

"What Pokemon can we find on this route Rotom?" The girl beside me asked her talking Pokédex.

"Youz can findz many different kindz," Rotom answered.

"Never mind," the girl said and proceeded to ignore the robot.

"Snivy can you grab some of the branches from over there please." I asked. She sent out her vines and I had a stack of sticks in my hand a few seconds later. "I'm going to go take these back Bonnie. Snivy watch everyone and Bonnie stay inside the forest please."

"Lillie here is the wood," I said as I got back to our campsite.

"Thanks Ash but where is everyone else?" She said. Always worried, especially if I'm involved for some reason.

"Bonnie wanted to search a little longer," I said.

"Oh ok, come help me cook and make yourself useful," she said jokingly. I pretended to pout and dragged myself over.

Bonnie's POV

"We should probably head back guys," I said as I rounded up the four Pokémon. Rattata and Litten seemed to be arguing and weren't listening. "Snivy do something."

Whack. Snivy nailed both of them with her vines and sent them flying over the bushes. "Really." I said mad at the super helpful plant. Snivy shrugged and watched as I went over to get the two Pokémon.

I climb over and see three Pokémon crying. Wait three! I try to calm Litten down first because she's the oldest but still pretty young. I noticed Eevee helping Rattata. I decide to help the third Pokémon.

It was yellow with black outlines. It had two rosy pink cheeks and was super cute. I start to cradle it and it slowly stopped crying. "Are you okay?" I asked softly.

"Pi," It said quietly. I decide to take it back and get the two lovebirds to help me.

"Lillie can you help me with this Pichu please," I said as I entered the campsite.

"Pichu?" Lillie and Ash looked over and noticed the new Pokémon in my hand.

"It looks fine," Ash said. Pichu started crying and nuzzled into my stomach again.

"Good job Ash," Lillie said sarcastically. "It's okay, let me see." I laid Pichu down on the blanket that was put. "Actually Ash is right, Nothing seems to be hurt."

Pichu looked at me with tears in its eyes. "Are you lonely then?" I asked. It nodded, I felt bad for it. Having no friends then having two Pokémon fly out of nowhere and hit you. Ironically similar to Ash and Lillie. "How about you join us then?"

It was worth a shot, I really want a Pichu. "Pichu," It said happily then got up and danced like nothing happened. I took out a pokeball and tapped its head lightly. Rotom came over and scanned it.

"Pichu the tiny mouse Pokémon. It still can't use electricity well. When it's surprised or excited, it discharges electricity unintentionally. It has electric sacs in its cheeks. When they're fully charged, Pichu plays very energetically. It evolves into Pikachu then Raichu and this one is female." Rotom read.

I decided to let Pichu out, "you need a name Pichu so you and Pikachu aren't confused with one another." I said.

"What about Pika," Ash suggested. "Or Pi, chuu or..."

"Ash your just saying sounds that Pikachu makes." Lillie said giggling. Who else would come up with names like that?...(You know who you are)

"What about star?" Lillie suggested. "She'll be the star of your Flower Festivals."

I looked at Pichu and she seemed happy with the name. "Welcome to the team then Star."

We decided to eat lunch and then keep heading North.

"Are we going to stay in the hotel?" I asked. The festival is being held at the berry farm just up the road from the hotel.

"It would be a lot easier," Lillie added.

"And maybe we can train at the beach." Ash said pointing to the sign with a Mantine on it.

"I'll go grab us a room," Lillie said and walked towards the front of the building.

"Let's go train," Ash said with his fist in the air. I ran down the hill ready to train for my first festival.

Lillie's POV

"Hello miss, how can I help you?" An older lady greeted as I walked in.

"I would like a room with three beds please." I said politely.

"Okay," she typed a few things. "I'm assuming you're here for the Orchid Festival."

"Not me," I corrected. "One of my friends are."

"It's good to see young ones travelling in groups for support." She replied. "Have one of you tried a wonder trade? We just got a machine here."

What if I traded one of Ash's Tauros for a surprise? "Can I make a call first?" I asked.

"Sure the phone is right over there." She pointed to a bright red machine next to a green and white one.

Hopefully Meowth picks up... "Hello Lillie," Meowth said with his accent.

"Meowth I need one of Ash's Tauros." I told the talking Pokémon.

"Okay but why?" He said curiously.

"Well Ash was talking how he contacted the people he wonder traded his Tauros too." I started. "He said Tauros was a lot happier and that he wants to trade more of them."

"Okay just let me find Bulbasaur." I waited patiently for Meowth to come back. I walked over and saw a newer poster for the Orchid Festival. Wait it takes place tomorrow! Bonnie has barely trained, how is she going to compete with other people?!

"I'm back Lillie," I heard Meowth's voice from the phone. "I just transferred the pokeball." I go over and pick up the pokeball."

"Thanks Meowth," I said and ended the call.

I look at the white machine in front of me with green lines. I read the instructions, first I have to place the ball in the transfer spot. Then I have to press wonder trade like that. The screen showed a message saying it's looking for a trade partner. "Here we go," I mumble as the trade process started.

A few seconds later Tauros was gone and a new pokeball was there. I picked it up and examined the pink topped ball. I think it's a love ball, I can't wait until Ash meets his new Pokémon. Let's go see...

Ash's POV

"So Bonnie what are your plans for training?" I asked the girl. She looked at the three Pokémon in front of her.

"Lillie said you need 3 different Pokémon for this one." Bonnie said. "Pichu is young so I'm hoping that the first challenge is easy enough for her."

"Next is the appeals round." I said.

"I want to check Eevee's and Dedenne's moves first." Bonnie said and looked at Rotom.

"Thatz my job," Rotom states and flew to Dedenne. "Dedenne knows tackle, thunder shock, nuzzle and rest."

"Wait so Dedenne even has an attack that is just him sleeping," Bonnie said with her mouth open.

"Dedenne." He smiled.

"He's full of surprises," I said laughing. "What about Eevee?"

Rotom flew over to the female Eevee, "Eevee knows quick attack, dig, bite and swift."

"Not bad Eevee," Bonnie said as she pet the Pokémon neck fur.

"Vee," she cooed. I smiled at how close Bonnie already is with her Pokémon.

"We should probably practice with Dedenne for appeals first," I suggested.

"But he only has one move that can actually look good," she said.

"Actually two," I corrected. "My amazing coordinator brain just came up with a few ideas."

"Oh no," I looked at her confused after she said oh no. "A coordinator idea from you can't end well," she finished.

"I promise it's good but maybe we should work on battling first." I sweat dropped.

"Okay ready Eevee?" Bonnie said and ran out a little bit so we were a normal distance from each other.

"Let's try Eevee against speed first." I stated. "Come battle Rattata."

It stopped running with Litten and hurried over to me.

"Tackle," I shouted hoping to test Bonnie early. Rattata started sprinting at Eevee.

"Dig quick," Bonnie shouted. Good start for her but now I have to guess what's next as Eevee dug under ground. "Attack now."

Eevee came up but missed Rattata. "Good try Eevee," I heard Bonnie shout. Looks like that's something to work on.

"Rattata tail whip." I said hoping to get her defense down.

"Eevee use swift," Looks like she's going offensive. The stars hit the tail wagging rat directly.

Rattata got up quickly ready for some more action. "Use focus energy," I said.

"Eevee quick attack."

I watched Eevee come close but the sand was slowing her down. "Finish this with tackle." I said. Rattata got its ground and hit Eevee head on. Sand flew up everywhere and Bonnie and I ran over. "Are you guys ok?" I asked the two Pokémon that were lying on the ground.

They weakly replied. "You did great Bonnie and Eevee." I praised. "But you need to be aware of the environment more and less aggressive." She nodded.

"Rat tat ra ta," Rattata said wanting attention. I picked it up.

"You did great," I said smiling.

"Ashhh," I heard Lillie's voice from the hill. "I have a surprise."

Bonnie's POV

I look at Pikachu and smile. This could be what we've been waiting for. "Looks like we didn't have to do anything Pikachu." I whispered to the mouse. He didn't look convinced.

"I wonder traded one of your Tauros." She said smiling. Well that's a little courageous. "You were saying how you wanted more of your Tauros to be happy." She looked nervous now that Ash wasn't replying.

"That's awesome Lillie," what. I thought Ash would be mad. "I mean, you could have asked but I do like surprises."

Lillie sighed in relief. "Here it is." I watched Lillie hand Ash a pink pokeball.

"Of course it's a love ball," I laughed. Lillie blushed and Ash rubbed his nose.

"Here we go," Ash said and out came the UGLIEST Pokémon I've ever seen. "It's a Feebas, I can't wait to make it the best around." It was flopping on the ground so Ash helped it towards the ocean so it was comfortable. Best around...sure.

"Rotom can you scan it please," I requested to my annoying Pokédex.

He flew over to the ocean where Oshawott was talking to it. "Feebas the Fish Pokemon. They look ragged, so no one catches them. They look like they'd taste bad, so predators won't eat them. And their numbers continue to grow. Because of its wretched appearance, most people pay it no attention, but there are some who collect Feebas—and Feebas alone! It evolves by being traded with a prism scale."

"Isn't that a prism scale?" I said as I pointed to the glimmering piece on Feebas.

"Obviously not if it-" Rotom started. Feebas started glowing bright white and Oshawott swam backwards a little bit.

"What a beautiful Pokemon," Lillie said in awe looking at the huge Pokémon in front of us. Now it's definitely not the ugliest Pokémon.

"Milotic," It said gracefully.

"I knew there was something special about you." Ash stated. Sure he did, I rolled my eyes at him. "Ready to join the team?"

The Pokémon nodded but Ash let it stay out. Rotom got to work. "Milotic the tender Pokemon. Milotic is said to be the most beautiful of all the Pokémon. It has the power to becalm such emotions as anger and hostility to quell bitter feuding. Milotic live at the bottom of large lakes. When this Pokémon's body glows a vivid pink, it releases a pulsing wave of energy that brings soothing calm to troubled hearts." Rotom said.

"Miii," it smiled and let out s pink aura.

"So pretty," I said suddenly feeling calmer. We all played together we noticed the sun start to go down.

"So are you ready for tomorrow Bonnie?" Lillie asked me.

"What do you mean tomorrow?" She doesn't mean the festival does she.

"The Orchid Festival is tomorrow," Lillie said sweat dropping.

"But I haven't tried an appeal routine yet." I cried out.

"Looks like it's going to be an early morning." Ash said. At least Ash can help me.

Greninja's POV

"Greninja we have to go to a different island first." Z2 said.

"Why?" I said simply.

"One of our cells there have a small problem." He said.

"But I want to see Bonnie." Squishy pouted.

"Fine but it better be short." I said and changed the direction I was swimming.

________________________

Like the title said, this story is finally starting to develop more towards their main goals.

So Bonnie got a Pichu and Ash got a Milotic. Both are going to become very important and I know Feebas evolving was kind of rushed but trust the process.

Next chapter we will see if I can actually write these Flower festivals or not.

Anyways thanks for reading and I still need names for OCs.
