Background: 

Simon Riley is the Ghost of Task Force 141, he had a traumatic childhood while growing up in Manchester, England because of his heartless father. His father often brought an animal and forced Ghost to kiss Snake even though he had the trauma of snake.

Simon used to be an apprentice butcher at a grocery but joined the military after the September 11 attacks occurred. He eventually was accepted into the Special Air Service. After Simon returned, his brother was addicted to the drugs, and his mother died.

This makes Simon stop his brother and leave him in therapy, he sends his father to prison. Until he joins Task Force 141 and meets Roach who calls him "Partner" and annoys him. Later he go date Mizuho who fall in love, and meet Elsie in her concert with her bands.
